Zhen Long unhesitatingly pierced the carcass' throat, as his hands moved around it.

"!" He felt something smooth, something like a crystallized object beneath his hand.

He hurriedly grabbed it out, as a crystal-like object entered his vision.

It was the core of the horned-bull spiritual beast. It was rather of high-quality, as the core glimmered under the sunrays.

"I can sell it to earn some profound coins…" He mumbled to himself, as he slowly stood up from the carcass.

He got nothing, aside from his clothes. Basically, he was poor at the moment.

"..." He slowly walked away from the carcass, as he felt a bit of regret that he wasn't able to bring it with him.

Zhen Long made his way towards the nearest city. The Miragecatcher City which is known for its peace and neutral state within the country.

And, after walking for a while.

He finally arrived before the opened city gates and noticed that no one was guarding it.

He unreservedly entered the city with his hands behind his back.

"..." He felt countless stare directed at him, as he walked towards very center of city.

It was from the women who were checking him out, because of his peerless face.

Oddly enough, no one approached him and only looked at him from afar.

'Is it because I'm currently cripple?' He thought to himself jokingly, as he minded his own business.

Finally, he arrived before a store. It was the only store within the city that buys profound cores.

He leisurely entered the store and went to the reception.

"Hello, sir. Are you selling profound cores?" A woman in work clothes approached him.

"Yes. I am indeed selling a single core."

"May I check it, sir?"

"..." Zhen Long quietly grabbed the idling profound core within his pockets, as he gave it towards the store manager.

"Ohh. Sir, this profound core is kinda rare! Our store is willing to buy it with this amount." The woman then raised her right hand and showed him the amount she was offering.

"Let's do it then." Zhen Long confidently made the deal with the store manager, as the latter gave him a bag of profound coins.

"Thank you for your patronage sir." The woman bowed to him, as he slowly vanished from her gaze.
