Invasion

In a city that had seen better days before the civil war, two gigantic robots could be seen on opposite sides of the city. There is a gigantic red robot on the north side of the city hidden behind some buildings and on the south side of the city there is a gigantic blue robot searching for the red robot. The ruined city was in fact within a video game called robotic wars it's a very popular game for teens especially boys, it's a two-player game that is usually played at the arcade. As the gigantic blue robot got closer to the gigantic red robot it jumped up from behind some buildings and opened fire chipping away the gigantic blue robot hp bar, it had to run away from ongoing fire of bullets that the gigantic red robot was firing. The gigantic blue robot had to duck for cover behind some buildings some distance away.

"Dam! That Red player!" cursed Glen

This boy is the one behind the gigantic blue robot's and he wasn't too happy with being caught off guard like that. The boy continued to keep eye on the screen in front of him as he searched for the gigantic red robot, he knew he was running low on ammunition the game doesn't give unlimited ammunition so he had to be careful in using his guns now. Having no idea where the red player would attack from, he had to be caution with every move he made, but he wasn't caution enough or he would of noticed that the red player was closing in on him from behind.

"Where is he hiding?" Asked Glen

The red player appeared behind him without being noticed, the red player waited for the boy to notice it behind him, the boy hadn't turned around even once in fact the boy didn't know the red player was behind him at all. The red player had been paicent enough to wait for a entire minute for the boy to notice that it was behind him before the red player opened fire yet again, as it lost interest in waiting. This time his hp bar dropped to zero, the gigantic blue robot vanished after it was defeated. On the boy's screen was defeat message across his entire screen and with that the game was over with the red player coming out as the victor.

"How did that red player get behind me with out me noticing?" asked Glen

"Its because you were predictable. Hiding underneath a bridge, there is only one bridge on that map" replied Alex

"You didn't even look behind you! That was just asking to get shot from behind" added Alex

The player of the blue robot was Glen Kalos a teenage boy whom was visiting Jewl city for the weekend with his mother, he had decided to come to this arcade than go around with his mother to do shopping that just seem to much of a hassle.He was around average height for his age, he had short blonde hair that falls below his neckline and sapphire blue eyes.

The other boy that had spoken to Glen was a friend he had made and met in the arcade he was Alex Hardwood unlike Glen he actually lived in Jewl city and a regular at the arcade, he attends one of the four high school in the city. He was tall for his age, he had long black hair that falls to his shoulders and brown eyes.

"Shut up! I just didn't notice, okay!" snapped Glen

"They say you learn from your defeats, so you do the same" said Alex

" I will and I will be the victor." Said Glen

"We will see won't we? Just learn where you went wrong" said Alex

Alex was a type of person whom seemed like he knew everything and was good at everything but unfortunately it was the opposite, he didn't know everything in fact he gets really low grades at his academy and wasn't good at anything. He had played against the red player as well, just like Glen he was defeated by the red player.

"Where is the red player?" asked Glen changing the subject

"Right in front of you. " replied Alex

The arcade was a little unique in Jewl city. It was similar to many arcades in other countries except for Robot Wars it had its own console and that each play was seated in different booths next to each other. The isn't any other meaning for why Jewl city's arcade has its booth like this while other arcades usually have the booths scattered throughout the arcade.

"I guess it's your victory this time but I will win next time" said Glen

"If you so but I won't loose next time either" said Maiya

This girls is Maiya Crimson a teenage age whom is attending one of the arcades near by, her grandparents live in the city not too far away from the arcade. Maiya usually comes to the arcade in her free time. She is of average height for her age, she is slim, she has long crimson red hair that falls to her waist and crimson eyes.

"Wait! Your a girl! shouted Glen

" That's right. Is there something wrong with me being a girl?" asked Maiya

Glen was shock that he had actually lost to a girl and it was just him, Alex was speechless, even members of staff of the arcade were surprised to find out the red player was a girl. Its not as if girls aren't allowed to play arcade games it's that Robot Wars is a male base game that girls wouldn't have any interest in playing that is why everyone is either shocked or surprised.

" Yeah! Girls aren't supposed to be playing Robot Wars it's a boys game, girls are supposed to be playing girls games" replied Glen

"Is there a rule that states girls aren't supposed to play boys games?" asked Maiya

"...." Glen remain silent as he nothing to fight back with

"of course not. Its only logic that girls play girls games and boys play boys games" said Alex

" That's just stupid. Its a game if I like it I play it, it's simple as that" said Maiya standing up from her seat.

"nice panties" said Alex as he flipped Maiya's skirt up.

"..." Maiya remained silent but face had a blush.

Without warning Maiya spun around and Landed a kick on Glen, he hadn't been her intended target but he got kicked anyway. If Glen had a hp bar right now it would drop instantly to zero as her kick had some force behind it that it sent Glen flying across the room slamming against the just like shoen manga. Glen didn't look like he was about to get back up anytime soon as he was unconscious, Maiya turned her attention to her true target and walked up to him land a punch to his chin sending up flying upwards and hitting the ceiling before slamming to ground.

"hmp" pouted Maiya as she left the arcade.

Glen regained consciousness awhile later when his mother shook him awake he was shocked that his mother was in the arcade let alone shaking him awake. Glen recalled that the girl had kicked him anything after that was a blank, he saw Alex lying on the floor it looked like he also got kicked as well. Glen and his mother left the arcade, Glen's mother found out how he ended up unconscious and he was scolded very seriously by his mother for his actions.

Jewl city is a part of the country of emerald a man made country and it's the only country that has been built in the last century. The country was built by cooperation of four major countries, America, UK, Japan and Korea, with each country's researchers working together they advanced technology in leaps and bounds like never before. The result of all the had work that the researchers put in finally paid of with the creation of the country of Emerald.

The country of emerald is the top country to come to learn it has four major academics which stand at the top of teaching technology to the next generation. It doesn't just teach technology it teaches many other subjects, the country has its shopping district like any other country and other course the country does have many arcades to prevent crime. The country has its own military which just happens to have members from each of the four countries working together, in the past that would of been impossible but they get along great without any hostility towards members from other countries.

It had been two days since the incident at the arcade, Maiya was walking to her academy she was wearing a pair of red headphones on her head. Maiya loves music she loves and listens to it at any given chance she gets. Maiya has put what happened at the arcade behind her as she gave them their punishment for being perverts. Maiya arrived at her school, one of the four academics in the country of emerald: The Crimson Cross. It was the nearest academy near to where her grandparents lived, the other academies are scattered around the city.

"dam! I'm fourth place again" Cursed a boy

"No I just barely made into the top ten" cried another boy

"Maiya is in first place yet again" complained a girl

As Maiya through the of Red Cross academy she saw a huge group of her fellow students standing in front of a huge board. The board is mostly used for notices and exam results, Maiya's classmates have noticed their ranking in the recent exam and aren't happy about their positions. Just hearing her classmates has already confirmed her position in the ranking of the last exam. Maiya just hurried to her class, taking her seat as her other classmates continued to complain about their exam results.

"Morning you lot" Greeted Mr Hammond

Eric Hammond a history teacher that had moved to Jewl city over ten years ago to begin teaching at Red cross academy, he isn't liked by many students for many reasons, the simple is because of his attitude towards students. He is of average height, slim with not much muscle, he had short black hair that falls below his neckline and brown eyes.

" I take that you've all seen your results on the bulletin board." Said Mr Hammond

"I be taking the register now" added Mr Hammond

After taking the register Mr Hammond started the history lesson, Mr Hammond might love history but that didn't mean his students did. His students either started talking or slept during his lesson which angered him very much. He usually gave out extra homework when angry and his main target of his anger is always Maiya whom he didn't like very much.

" Your in first again Maiya. " said Alice

Alice Rosewood is a classmate of Maiya's at Red Cross academy she is in the same class as her, whom is in her mid teens, her family lives in Jewl city. She is of average height, she slim, long platinum blonde hair that falls to her waist and emerald green eyes that is covered by sapphire coloured glasses.

"..." Maiya remained silent

"You know you don't below here and you know it" whispered Alice

"For starters you aren't old enough to attend this school. Your what? 12 coming 13, when our school's minimum age of enrollment is sixteen" Added Alice

Most of the students at Red cross academy are in their mid teens as it's the minimum age of enrollment into the academy, Maiya was able to enroll into the academy cause of a scholarship given to her by the principal of Red Cross academy. This scholarship has made everyone hate her cause they weren't able to receive one when they were her age.

"That's not for you to decide. I was given the scholarship by the principal so it's not up to you if I belong here or not" said Maiya

"..." Alice remain silent

"Just you wait! I make sure you leave this academy" said Alice

Alice Rosewood has had it in for Maiya since she entered the academy. She is the only one at the academy whom bullies Maiya simply cause she received a scholarship, Maiya had always wanted to attend this school she had put some much effort into her studies before she ever received a scholarship.

"Listen you lot! Especially you Maiya you will receive double the amount of homework" shouted Mr Hammond before resuming the lesson.

Above the Earth floats the earth's space station it is only one of three things that was created by the four major countries, the researchers poured their hearts and souls into creating the space station, it took may over a decade to build the space station. It sounds like something right out of a sci-fi movie but it not, the space station uses two major system. The first is the float system that allows the space station to control the gravity around itself and the second is the camouflage system that allows it to hide itself, becoming anything near it. The space station is the lifeline between the earth and the ships out in space, it might sound impossible for ships to be out in space but with all the advances that the earth has made in the last century it is now possible.

The space station is usually noisy in the but today it's even noisyier as the crew of the space station were getting a new captain due to their former captain having to retire cause of health issues. The crew weren't too happy to see him leave as they all liked their captain but there was nothing, they could do but to accept that they were getting a new captain.

"I wonder what he's like. I mean our new captain," said Mike

Mike Ross is a middle age man in his early thirties, he has been in the military for over ten years, he's a communication officer aboard the space station. He's a tall man with a muscular built, he has long brown hair that falls to his shoulders and brown eyes. He always leaves his military uniform top open for that is how he prefers to wear his tops.

"I've heard he's a old type" said Jax

Jax Allen is a middle age man in his late twenties, he's been in the military for over five years, he's also a communication officer for the space station. He's a short man with a muscular built, he has short green hair that falls to his shoulders and sapphire blue eyes. He's always wearing earphones despite it being against the rules of the military.

"Just great! I don't get along with those types of people," said Mike

Old types usually refer to the old generation solider, they are veteran soldiers that have survived the previous wars, that do everything by the book. They are naturals soldiers that have trained since joining the military and gaining years of experience in wars that occurred of the years. They were once respected but now days they are looked down on by the new generation of soldiers.

"Can you two shut up? Asked Jill

Jill Wood is a young woman in her early twenties, she joined the military just under five years ago, she is also a communication officer and one of the three communication officers at the space station. She's a tall woman with a small built, she has long blonde hair that falls to her waist and sapphire blue eyes.

"Who cares if his a old type? He's our new captain now, so just accept it," said Jill

"You can only say that cause you've never had a old type captain before" said Mike

"They are the worst" said Jax

"So what? It was the higher ups who assigned him to the space station" snapped Jill

"Just shut up and accept it already" added

Jill

"....." Mike just went silent.

"....." Jax also went silent.

After saying her what was on her mind Jill went back to her job, Mike and Jax also resume their duties after getting shouted at by someone younger than themselves. A few minutes later the command centre doors opened, entering the command centre was none other than the new captain of the space station.

"Morning all" Greeted Rai

Captain Rai Greystone is a older man who was in his early forties, he had joined the military over twenty years ago. He started out just as a normal recruit and worked up his way up the ranks over the years. He was a short man with a chubby built, he had short brown hair that falls below his neckline with some grey showing, and brown eyes. He has a eye patch covering his left eye and has his military uniform top open which a captain usually would do.

"Morning captain Rai" greeted Jill

"Jill is that your name, correct?" asked captain Rai

"That's right" replied Jill

"Anything to report?" asked captain Rai as he sat at his station.

"Nothing yet sir" replied

"Everyone stay focus! We are the lifeline between the earth and ships out in space" said captain Rai

"Yes sir" said everyone in Union

The morning went by peacefully without any issues, Jill and the other communication officers were busy answering calls all morning long. Around lunchtime captain Rai had just returned to the command centre when Jax received a call from a ship out in space and the message he received sent chills down his spine.

"Captain! "Shouted Jax

"What's the matter Jax?" asked captain Rai sensing tension in Jax's voice.

"I've received an urgent message from the captain of the hydra." Said Jax

Captain of the hydra is a veteran captain in the military and is well known in the military for her cold personality and following the rules by the book. The hydra was ordered on a scouting mission by headquarters and were ordered to report back if anything happened, the hydra didn't expect to come under attack out of nowhere.

"They've come under attack by unknown forces" added Jax

"What? Under attack?" asked Jill

"Yeah." Replied Jax

"I've haven't been able to connect contact with them." Said Jax

"The message ended with it saying the enemy is heading our way" added

Just as Jax finished his report to captain Rai , did the command centre's radar began going off, it was picking up something incoming. Mike had gone to check the radar and his face went pale the radar had pick multiple incoming ships, which weren't possible as the hydra was the only ship out there in space.

"Captain!" shouted Mike sensing tension in his voice as well.

"What is it?" asked captain Rai

"We've got incoming" replied Mike

"Are you sure?" asked Jill

"Yeah" replied Mike

"There's at least ten or twenty." Said Mike

"That's what the radar is showing "added Mike

"C-captain! Look!" shouted Jill

Everyone in the command centre looked in the direction of where Jill had pointed, outside the space station in space itself there were multiple ships that had just appeared out of nowhere, everyone in the space station had almost the same question: was this the unknown force that attacked the hydra? Everyone was frozen in fear as they knew if these ships turned their guns onto them, they wouldn't survive as the space station didn't have any weapons to fight back.

"What are you doing? Send word to headquarters at once" shouted captain Rai after coming to his senses

"Right away," said Jill

"I hope we made it in time" said captain Rai trying to remain calm

Captain Rai had just started his first day as captain of the space station and all this happens, captain Rai couldn't help but feel nervous. He tries not to allow it show on his face and to look strong in front of his crew, old types are already looked down open by the new generation soldiers.

Back in Jewl city Maiya was just making her way to school at the same time as the space station received a urgent message from the hydra. Maiya was just listening to one of her favourite songs that she usually listens to on the way to school, but today something has caught her attention something she usually doesn't see in Jewl city very often in the mornings. There were two soldiers from the military running it's a rare occurrence to see them in the morning in fact it's rare to see them this far from their military base.

"Hurry up, you slug," shouted solider A

"I'm coming, already "snapped solider B

Maiya was surprised as she has never seen soldiers this far from their military base before, they seemed to be in a rush for something. Maiya paid it no mind and continued walking to school as she was doing, once at school she went straight to her class and took her seat which was in the front row right next to the window. She heard her classmates chatting about various things that didn't interest her in the slightest, when Mr Hammond arrived everyone took their seats as he took the register once he had done so he began the lesson.

"Hey, did you see all those soldiers running around this morning?" Asked Bob

Bob Watters is a teenage boy and one of the popular boys in his class, he usually acts if he knows it all when he doesn't. He is a short boy and has a well tone built, he has long indigo blue hair that falls to his shoulders and sapphire blue eyes.

"You bet I did" Replied Matt

Matt Handerson is a teenage age boy, he's friends with Bob, he isn't as popular as Bob nor does he act like he knows it all. He is a tall boy for his age which makes him stand out a lot among his classmates, he has a well toned built, he has short purple hair that falls just below his neckline and violet eyes.

"What do you think they were running for?" asked Matt

"Isn't it obvious! They were running because they were late for the grand revealing of the military only ark work unit" replied Bob

Ark Worker Unit is a machine crane that is usually used to do lifting, Ark worker unit is just a bit bigger than your normal delivery van, they can lift things that isn't possible for people to lift. The Ark Worker Unit was developed by the military's researchers, it makes lifting a lot easier than it used to be when there were only the huge cranes that did the lifting, The Ark worker unit is life changing for many people.

"Really? I can't wait to see it then," said Matt

"Its going to be cool" said Bob

"Geez, boys and their imagination" muttered Maiya that no one could hear.

Just as the boys behind Maiya were talking about various things that had nothing to do with the history class nor about the Ark Worker Unit, Mr Hammond wasn't aware that some of his students weren't paying attention to the lesson. The classroom door slam opens all off a sudden that no one was expecting and walked in was none other than the vice principal of the school.

"Mr Lin? Is there something that I can help you with?" asked Mr Hammond

"I have an urgent announcement" replied Mr Lin

Mr Lin Frost was the vice principal who was in charge of the school when the principal was there, it was rare for him to come to a classroom unless it was a student was in serious trouble, he was in his early forties. He was a tall man with muscular built, he has long black hair that falls to his wait with some grey showing and black eyes.

"Listen up all of you!" said Mr Lin

"The military has issued a emergency evacuation" said Mr Lin

"You are to go to the shelters" added Mr Lin

Mr Lin left the classroom followed by Mr Hammond leaving his students, everyone in the classroom rushed out of the classroom, Maiya herself left the classroom as soon as possible but wasn't to leave the school as everyone was rushing towards the exists, they were pushing classmates out of the way, Maiya had to wait till there was enough room for her to leave. Upon leaving the school building she started making her way to the nearest shelter which was up town, as she was making her way to the shelter she is stopped by a solider.

"Why are you still doing here?" asked Dale Jr

Dale is a young man in his early twenties, was a recent recruit who had joined the military just a month earlier, he has just started his military career. He is a tall man with a well toned built, he has medium length hair that falls to the middle of his back and sapphire blue eyes. He wears his military uniform like all new recruits by the book.

"I'm making my may to the shelter" replied Maiya

"Shelter?" asked Dale confused

"Jewl city has a total of four shelter sites" replied Maiya

Having recently been stationed the military base in Jewl city Dale doesn't know about the shelter sites as the country he was born and raised in didn't have that many shelter sites. They were barely ever used; they were only used during the ancient wars of the past and are mostly used as storages nowadays.

"Haven't you been told? The entire city is to evacuate immediately! Everyone is to get to a shuttle as soon as possible" explained Dale

"Me and my entire class was only told to get to a shelter" said Maiya

Maiya was shocked to hear that the entire city has been ordered to evacuate immediately to a shuttle, the city has only two shuttle sites as it is. This information makes her question why her teachers told her and her classmates to get to a shelter instead of a shuttle? She won't be getting the answer anytime soon.

BOOM!

"What the hell was that?" asked Dale in a loud voice

"...." Maiya remained silent

Around them they could see destroyed buildings and parts of bodies just lying on the ground that had been flung some distance due to the shockwave of the explosion. The explosion done a massive amount of damage to the town while it only knocked Maiya to the ground, she and dale were pretty far away from the explosion range but hey could still hear it the sound of the explosion and feel the aftershock from the explosion.

"Come on! We have to get out of here," shouted Dale

"...." Maiya was in absolute shock.

Dale who wanted to get out of there as fast as Possible knew he couldn't just leave her there, so he grabbed her arm and began running towards the nearest shuttle site that he actually knew the location of, his own military base. Dale couldn't blame Maiya for being in shock it's only natural that those who have never seen war or even see a dead person before would be in shock, Maiya was only a teenager.

They ran as fast as they could but unfortunately Dale had longer legs than her and could run faster, so he was more or less dragging her along with him even if he didn't mean to be mean, it was pretty much too hard for her to keep running at the pace of Dale a full-grown man that had longer legs than her and pretty much had more stamina than her.

"That came out of nowhere." Spoke Dale

"Where are we heading?" asked Maiya curiously

"To the military base there is a shuttle site there it's the only one that I know the exact location of" replied Dale

"What about my grandparents?" asked Maiya

"They've probably already gotten on a shuttle and are waiting for you" replied Dale

Just as they stopped to catch their breath, they saw something from afar, something you'd naturally wouldn't see on earth. A spacecraft isn't something you would see normally, it's not like a ship you would see every day on earth. The spacecraft is being escorted by something that isn't an Ark Worker Unit by size it is several times the size of an Ark Worker Unit. It was a gigantic blue humanoid machine; it wasn't military machine that was fore sure it was something completely different from a ark Worker Unit.

"What the hell is that?" asked Dale

"A robot" replied Maiya

"A robot? Really? That's freaking gigantic to be a robot," said Dale

As the gigantic was getting closer Dale tried to contact his team by radio in hopes they can help him in this situation but unfortunately it couldn't get in contact with anyone. If he began running right now it wouldn't do him or Maiya any good as the gigantic blue machine had a gigantic gun it would only need one shot for him and Maiya to be killed.

"God damnit!" cursed Dale

Just as all hope seems lost a group of ten ark Worker Units appeared before them just in the nick of time. The group piloting the ark worker units all from the same unit, they were the unit that Dale had tried to contact but wasn't able to contact them, Dale is also a member of the unit but he is a new recruit that had joined the unit.

"Yo recruit." Greeted Tammy

Tammy is the leader of her own Unit and a very dedicated solider who followed rules to letter, she is the youngest captain having made captain at the age twenty-two. She is a young woman in her late twenties, she is a tall women with a well toned built, she has long crimson hair that falls to her waist and crimson eyes.

"Captain!" greeted Dale happily

"You still alive! I be damed" said Tammy with a smile.

"I tried to contact you but I couldn't contact anyone," said Dale

"Our radios got jammed, so we couldn't contact you," said Tammy

"But any, what's with the girl?" asked Tammy

"She is a survivor I happen to find just outside town as I was on my way back to base" replied Dale

"We were heading to the base's shuttle site" added Dale

"Get to the shuttle site. We will buy you time, so get going "ordered Tammy

"Yes sir," said Dale

As Dale and Maiya made their way to the shuttle site while Tammy and her team brought them time to get there by engaging the gigantic humanoid blue machine, they had to dodge all of the attacks as just one shot from the gigantic humanoid blue machine would be the end of them. While they were running towards the shuttle site Dale and Maiya could hear several explosions they didn't turn around as their sacrifice would have been pointless, Maiya saw tears falling down his face as they ran.

As soon as he entered the military base, he was stopped by a fellow soldier who oversees everyone who comes to the military base, he had to give his name, rank and the unit he was in. Despite the situation they were in the overseer was doing his job of protecting the shuttle site when he just wants to run away.

"Here we are," said Dale

"Just get on and you will be safe" added Dale as he begins to walk away

What's your name?" asked Maiya

"Dale Jr Kalos" Dale replied as he continued walking into the military base

Maiya took her seat on a nearly empty shuttle, except herself there was only one other person on the shuttle, that person was the pilot of the shuttle. The pilot didn't wait for anyone else to get on before it took off towards space. Maiya saw the country that she spent a couple of months in becoming smaller and smaller by the second, in the distance she saw the gigantic humanoid blue machine, the same one that she saw earlier. She swore to herself that she wouldn't forgive the one that piloted that machine, the last scene she saw before leaving earth was that of the gigantic humanoid blue machine take aim and fired it's gigantic gun.
