The Meteor

[Nero Galaxy] Mother Ship Azraelle

"Azraelle, REPORT" in a demanding and hurried tone, A young man around the age of 20 dressed in a blue and white khaki military uniform with a distinctive navy hat was sitting brave in the commander sit inside a futuristic spaceship. {Your majesty, 60 percent damage, 30 percent power and decreasing, I recommend your highness to abandon ship.} coming from a womans voice, though robotic, it was calming and precise.

"Azraelle, Activate Alert 0. Abandon ship." As the alarm echoed throughout the whole ship, small spaceships hastily exited from the huge mother ship while chaos occurs outside. It was a full blown war of ships in space near a planet. "Azraelle, is there a possibility to override the reactor control and overcharge it?" The young prince commander asked in a serious voice while not gazing away from the monitor in front of him, which clearly shows the enemies mother ship. Azraelle who was a very intelligent AI which controls most of the ship in supervision of the commander and the officers was silent for a moment. {Your highness, the system protocol will not allow me to do that and even if I did. it can only be overcharged manually from the manual control room with four other officers in charge. I would advice her majesty to abandon the idea and instead abandon ship now.}

"Azraelle, you know that even if we delay the enemy, they will still catch up to us, our soldiers and worst of all, catch up to the civilians and proceed to the main fleet. Azraelle knows the great possibility of what will happen and even though his actions was bound by the laws of the federation, she was a different AI. It was not certain but along the road of her service with the prince, her algorithm was changed or rather it evolve into something unimaginable. Azraelle who was created to be the perfect AI to service the prince fleet, it was designed differently by the king to compensate and adapt to his sons and daughters separating Azraelle from those common AI's. The King himself developed it not only as a tool but a companion and protector.

The impatient prince banged his armchair and shouted "AZRAELLE". {As you wish your highness, but the evacuation is still proceeding, for the meantime, let us proceed to the manual room and prepare the overcharge sequence.} The prince immediately stood up from his chair and walked towards the door and commanded. "Pass me the location of the manual room" {Affirmative}, a floating screen was projected from the prince's armlet which guided him to the room while all his officers follow him.

Enemy Main Deck

{Commander, they started to initiate evacuation sequence. what will be your command} The robotic voice echoed in the control room as the officers inside including the commander was excited but still calm and professional. "Instead of surrendering, they opted to delay us and let others escape. Finish them, continue the barrage, transfer 70 percent focus on the main ship. These prideful brats will defend the civilians to the last moment and when the time comes when he escape, concentrate on him. We need to capture this brat alive." The bearded and somewhat experience commander smirked in joy and excitement.

"Commander, there is movement on the mother ship: They retracted 70 percent of their shield and channel 20 percent of their remaining energy in the forward thrusters and they are preparing the remaining energy for a frontal energy attack." A staff shouted as he was observing the energy fluctuations on his monitor in the corner of the deck. and concluded the event. "Futile! Hahahahahahahaha" the commander laughed hysterically "They plan to hammer us with their remaining energy and launch a frontal attack hoping to break our shield. These Foolish Pampered Royalties." "Lets welcome them and have them a taste of our advanced defense system." The bearded commander smirked with joy.

{Prepare for impact in 3. 2. 1.} The main deck vibrated but there is no significant damage to the ship. {Prepare for the second impact in 3. 2. 1} The ship did not shake a bit, as what they have been expecting to happen but instead an eerie silence. "Commander, The energy build-up is continuing." The pale faced staff on the corner could not believe what developed.

"INITIATE WARP DRIVE IMMEDIETELY" The bearded commander, shouted hysterically and the officers including the staff panickily activated warp drive but it was too late.

A huge flash of light blinded them for a second and then the light retracted at where the mother ship Azraelle was then it exploded after a brief implosion, creating a small blackhole that devoured most of the ships nearby, and after a brief moment the implosion settled leaving behind only pieces of debris of the two mother ships and other smaller ships nearby.

Snow Fort [Unknown Planet]

It was a very cold and enduring night for Snow Fort at the west border of Kinnley White Stone Kingdom. A Typhoon was coming, only the occasional thunder lit the fort. It was very hectic inside the fort as the soldiers with the civilians are fortifying the fort to brace the coming storm. With all this shouting and running, the calm sky over the continent was lit by a meteor. Though the meteor could not be seen directly below because of the storm, some countries in the outer continent saw the meteor falling and it was a spectacular rare event for those who saw it and some even interpreted them base on their cultural beliefs.

Above the typhoon a comet or rather a crashing escape pod was blazing in fire as it entered the atmosphere of an unknown planet. Inside was the young commander prince and four of his officers. who was unconscious after exiting the warp drive and even after they crashed to a planet. unfortunately, they crashed hard without proper shield and only a minimal protection, injuring them at the impact, luckily the system adapted well and booted the power to give them immediate life support as they were still unconscious at that time.
