As Li Taixing continued his journey of cultivating immortality, he realized that the multiplier of ten billion didn't just apply to objects—it applied to himself and his pets as well. Slowly, he discovered that anything could be multiplied, from as little as one time to as much as ten billion times, all under his control.
When Wang Xuanwu was carried back to her house by Li Taixing, she already knew it was him. Seeing that he meant no harm, she was too lazy to resist. However, after sleeping for a while, she felt something off.
She began to notice changes across Chifeng Mountain. Not only that, but she also sensed the breath of spiritual herbs—an enormous number of them. What truly shocked her was the vast spiritual power, like an ocean, enveloping the entire Chifeng Mountain—except for her.
"Damn it, such a huge spiritual power tide, and not even a little bit for me? It's all given to those spiritual herbs," Wang Xuanwu muttered in a depressed tone.
She rubbed her eyes, casting a cleaning spell to refresh herself, the dirt on her body vanishing instantly. Despite her sloppy appearance—disheveled hair and casual clothing—she walked out, yawning.
But then she stopped, her eyes wide with disbelief.
The yard was filled with spiritual herbs, neatly planted.
"When did this happen?" she asked in shock. "Did I drink too much fake wine? Am I hallucinating?"
For a moment, she considered going back to sleep, but then reality hit her.
'No, wait.' She spread her spiritual sense, scanning the entire Chifeng Mountain. What she saw left her stunned—spiritual herbs covered the entire mountain, all planted in an orderly fashion.
"What? When did this happen? I remember uprooting everything and leaving no seeds behind. How could this be?" Wang Xuanwu was utterly confused.
But then, her eyes lit up with excitement.
"Wait, doesn't this mean I'm rich again?" She stared at the spiritual herbs with stars in her eyes, as if she were looking at a mountain of gold and silver. She even started drooling a little.
'No, no, this must be related to Taihang. I need to figure this out first,' she thought, shaking off her excitement. Wang Xuanwu wasn't as carefree as before. Now that she had an apprentice, she couldn't be reckless.
She immediately left the yard, following the location of Li Taixing, which she had pinpointed using her spiritual sense.
At the highest peak of Chifeng Mountain, Li Taixing stood, admiring his work. "It looks much better now," he said to himself, feeling a sense of accomplishment. He had wanted to restore the mountain for a long time but never had the chance until now.
Though his efforts had temporarily drained his spiritual sea, the results were worth it. The mountain had regained its vitality, the spiritual power surging across the land, concentrated even more due to the protective formation that surrounded Chifeng Mountain.
"This is perfect. Everything went just as I expected," he muttered proudly, clapping his hands.
His chaotic physique had allowed him to deduce the secrets of the terrain, and his dimensional space bag had supplied all the herbs and materials he needed. His spiritual sea, vast as the ocean, gave him the confidence to act without fear.
"I didn't realize just how powerful I am until I did it. And I'm only in the Nascent Soul Realm. My future growth will be unimaginable." He smirked to himself.
"Taihang!" A sweet voice broke through his thoughts.
"Master?" Startled, Li Taixing turned around, catching a glimpse of Wang Xuanwu. From his high vantage point, he saw more than he intended—a flash of white. Embarrassed, he quickly descended and bowed to her.
"Master, you're awake?"
"How could I not be, with the commotion you caused?" Wang Xuanwu frowned. "Luckily, the formation kept everything contained. If it hadn't, the world would've noticed by now. Do you have any idea how much of a shock that would cause?"
Li Taixing knew she was right, but he had placed his trust in the formation and in his master's capabilities. He smiled and said, "But Master, who would dare mess with you?"
"Hmph." Wang Xuanwu puffed her chest, trying to maintain her dignity. "I might be impressive, but you're still reckless. What kind of disciple makes such a mess for his master to clean up?"
"But Master," Li Taixing said with a grin, "I'm not bad either. Look at this place now. Isn't it amazing?"
Wang Xuanwu glanced at him, impressed but unwilling to admit it. "Tell me, what kind of tricks are you hiding?"
"Master, I'm a reincarnated great power," Li Taixing said with mock seriousness.
"Really?"
"Absolutely."
"Show-off."
"Well, believe it or not, you'll see in the future." Li Taixing shrugged, quickly changing the subject as he began to feel uncomfortable with Wang Xuanwu's disheveled attire and the constant flashes of revealing skin.
He didn't trust himself to stay composed much longer.
"By the way, Master, don't destroy the mountain again. If you need money, just ask me." He said as he hurried off.
Wang Xuanwu watched him leave, puzzled but thoughtful.
'Is this kid really a reincarnated great power?' she wondered. His calm confidence and incredible abilities certainly matched the profile.
"I wonder what he was in his previous life?" she mused, but then shrugged. Wang Xuanwu wasn't one to overthink such things. She was more interested in the abundant spiritual power flowing around her.
However, she did have one concern.
"How am I supposed to explain all of this to others?" The thought of dealing with that headache made her groan.
"Ah, forget it," she muttered, deciding to ignore the problem for now. She turned around and headed back inside to catch up on some more sleep.
For now, Chifeng Mountain would stay as it was—a hidden treasure trove of spiritual herbs.
