18 Shocked

They had some short greetings and afterwards he asked where she has been staying for the past months, so she answered him earnestly. Charles has been a good friend so telling him the truth was not really a big deal. Also, it was not really a secret on where they had been staying since they moved out. They just didn't like to share it with other people before since they were planning in staying here again, sharing it will be inevitable in the future.

Charles said something to Miggy which made her mind went blank. She was too shocked to all the things that was happening right now. First, she was surprised to see Miggy here and now she was shocked when she learned that he was staying at Yukon before as well. All the things that had happened passed by quickly that she didn't get to catch up with it. There's a lot of things running inside her head now that she was startled to hear her phone rang.

It was her mom, she was looking for her already. So, in the end, she just bid her farewell with the guys and run away.

At the same time, her head felt like it was going to explode on the things she had learned right now. Going back, it seems like Cassie knew that Miggy was there without any warning, there were tears flowing down her eyes. She was hoping that her sister didn't knew about it because if her sister knew about it, she was afraid that things may get awry especially now that she can't control her mind and emotions. Both were in complete mess.

Her knees gave up before she can even reach their home, she was in front of their gate already, but she can get up to go inside. She was just there slumped to the ground and crying like a kid.

In the meantime, Alex was packing her things when she realized that Gabby was still not there. Half an hour had already passed, their village is not that big, so she got worried about her. She tried calling her phone but no one's answering. In the end, she decided to look for her, so she grabbed a cap. When she got out of their home, she saw Gabby in front of their gate and she was shocked to see her sister on the ground. She immediately ran towards her and when she was only a few steps away, Gabby's body suddenly gave up. She tried her best to catch her head, worried that it may bumped on the ground. Luckily, she came at the right time.

She called their parents instantly, they were also shocked to see their children in such state. Gabriel didn't waste any time and carried Gabby inside their home and instructed her wife to call for their family doctor, but her wife was crying too much so he can just instruct Alex to do it. Seeing her mom, Alex tried her best to calm her while contacting the doctor.

The doctor came right away, she immediately diagnosed Gabby as soon as she stepped in their house. After that, the doctor talked to Gabriel.

"There was nothing that you should be worry about, her condition was normal. She just fainted because of exhaustion. Did she experience something that may trigger her emotional imbalance?"

"None that I'm aware of"

"If that's the case, then I think she'll be fine, she must be tired only. Let her rest for a while and avoid things that may tire her at the moment."

After the doctor left, Luisa went beside Gabby and stared at her. Luisa was caressing her daughter's face, she can't help but cry. On the other hand, Gabriel walked towards Alex and talked to her.

"Are you not going to look at your sister?"

"Maybe later, dad. I feel tired suddenly."

"Okay, go rest. You must be tired and surprised to see your sister in that state."

"Thanks dad! I'll visit her later." Gabriel nodded and let her go.

Gabriel looked at her wife then went closer to her. He told her what the doctor said. Her wife then started to calm down a bit, she hugged his husband because she was grateful that her husband was there when she needed a support. Then, they both looked at their daughter and hoped that she'll be alright when she woke up, so they could know what happen.

After Gabby left them, Miguel started walking back to Charles' house. There was a lot of things running inside his head. He wanted to rest first before he asked his cousin about his friend named Alex. Miguel's instinct was telling him that Chris' friend and the Alex he knew was the same person. If that's correct, the world was indeed small.

Luckily, Charles was also busy calling his girlfriend about the thing he speculated a while ago, so he didn't have the time to bother his friend about it. After the talked with his girlfriend which got him confused because Cassie was panicking after he told her the meeting with Alex a while ago; he looked for Miguel, but his friend was sleeping so he just let it be.
