My entire world stills at that very second.

I feel numb and stiff all over. My body is unable to move the way I want it to.

Everything just seems to happen at a flash of lightning, throwing me off guard as well as everyone else inside the lobby at the moment. The others begin to scurry away and panic while I can only gawk at the sight of the smoke that fumed out of box the instant it was opened.

It's getting thicker and thicker. The malice that it emits is getting more and more unbearable.

Then, I suffocate.

My whole being runs cold and shudders as the smoke keeps filling the surroundings in such a horridly rapid pace. It reeks of an all-too familiar burnt substance - one that reminds me of a certain scene in my past life.

The airplane's flaring engines. The seas of fire. The horrendous sensation of being burned alive. The bloodcurdling sight of how my everything was set ablaze.
