138 137th Twilight - A String of Surprises

Two days have passed since the eventful celebration at Ruben's restaurant took place, but even now, my head is still caught up in the air as I continue taking in everything that happened.

Even then, however, I did manage to get my mind out of my current predicament for a while since Madeline and Clarissa did a good job of diverting my attention from that without them knowing. Cesar and the other circus members also prepared a few fun tricks to showcase as entertainment, making the party even livelier.

Ruben's cooking cheered me up either. He really learned fast and had already mastered making pizzas, which have now become my favorite food since he baked it a lot better than those I ate in my previous world.

That's most probably why their food business boomed right away. Aside from hamburgers and french fries, his pizza emerges as a top seller around this area, and I think it's just a matter of time before the entire town gets to know it.
