2 A Pleasant Morning
[4th Aprith, 32 A.P]
Sun started rising from the east, covering natural and man-made creations with warm golden light. This golden ray of light also reached the royal capital 'Chuti' located in the country of 'Dimer'.
The royal capital 'Chuti' was surrounded by tall walls made of 'Cemberstone'. The sun rays beautifully highlighted the pure yellow color of the walls. Inside the walls, the royal capital was divided into three parts, in the shape of 'ϒ'.
The upper part consisted of the royal castle and mansions of nobles. The left part consisted of various market districts and houses of commoners. The remaining right part had various agriculture fields and shelters for the poor.
In the upper part of the city, a mansion was surrounded by a small forest, making it stand out among numerous other extravagant looking mansions. A request to cut down this hinderance of forest was made, but it was declined by the owner of this peculiar mansion for again some peculiar reasons.
Outside this mansion, birds were going about their morning ritual and a cool breeze of wind made plants flutter. Finally, the cozy golden rays of light entered the upper windows of this mansion.
The rays of light made Scarlet's face twitch and she suddenly opened her eyes. She kept staring towards the window for a few minutes with a cold gaze as if she was staring at her worst enemy. Finally, finished with the staring competition she pulled herself out of the bed, put on her purple overcoat and picked up her longsword which was lying on the small table beside the bed.
Scarlet stared at Lilith, who was still heavily in sleep, her snorts reverberating inside the room. Scarlet looked closely and saw Lilith scratching her belly along with some drool falling from her mouth to the bedsheets. Scarlet wondered whether she should wake Lililit up as well? but seeing her blissfully asleep like this she pushed the thought out of her mind and went out of the room.
Scarlet started walking down the long hallway which consisted of many rooms, but most of them were empty. She made her way down the stairs and saw some servants doing the morning cleaning. She titled her head a little as a sign of good morning, the servants used to her behavior also smiled and greeted her. At first, they were a little offended by her greetings as it showed that Scarlet didn't even saw them as fellow humans and used as little energy and effort possible to greet them, but when they learned that she's just awkward and strange, they started seeing her greetings as something cute.
Scarlet went out of the front door and into the garden. Despite the mansion being surrounded by forest, there was a well-maintained garden outside. The garden had perfectly trimmed grass, many flower patches and an open shelter with chairs and a round table inside. Butterflies could be seen flying over the flowers and a constant cool breeze hit Scarlet's face. It was a perfect morning for some practice.
Scarlet went towards the middle of the garden and pulled out her longsword. It was a shiny metal blade, having beautifully engraved rose petals near the hilt. The grip was covered with fine leather and had an engraving 'S' on it.
This longsword was given to her by Lilith when they first met, remembering that meeting spent chills down Scarlet's spine so she stopped thinking about it and began her daily practice.
A few meters away from Scarlet was a flower patch of black roses and a small boy probably of age 11 was watering the flowers while watching Scarlet's Swordplay with admiring eyes. He constantly kept his eyes on Scarlet's hand movements which flowed like calm water but sometimes changed to the most violent water, capable of crushing anyone with its violence. The boy didn't notice that the water in the jug has finished and just kept on pouring empty water on the flowers.
Inside the mansion, some servants were cleaning every corner of the mansion while some started preparing breakfast for their master. Outside of Lilith's room, there were two servant girls, cleaning the various vases and pouring water into them.
One of them started speaking, "Hey Louis! clean the vases properly, don't just hover the washcloth over them. Properly pick up the vase, clean its surface nicely and neatly, then put it back down!"
"What? Mana, does master notice these things?" Louis spoke in a worried tone.
A bright smile appeared on Mana's face and she proudly puffed her non-existent chest, "Of Course NOT! Master does notice these things but doesn't say anything, neither does she complains about them. Master's so kind that whenever we face any problem, she immediately comes to our rescue, that's why it's our duty as the servants of this house to maintain this place to utmost cleanliness! that's the only thing we know how to do, so that's how everyone here repays Master by doing their utmost best at the things they are good at!"
"Wow! what a kind and caring master! maybe when I get some problem, she would also come to my rescue?"
"Of Course! master would! she never ignores those who serve her" Mana's flat chest puffing up even more.
"ahahaha, is that so, but I wonder why Master doesn't let anyone enter that basement" A curious expression surfaced on Louis's face
"Hmm, it's not like no one is allowed, Master has allowed Scarlet to enter there"
"Heh!? is that so, but still I wonder what's down there, that she keeps it in such a secret. What if there's something wicked down there?"
"WHA!? No way! that's just impossible. Master is known as the guardian of this country because of her special healing magic, she's known as the purest form of human on this earth, she saves anyone with her healing wheater it's a rich, commoner or poor. She treats everyone equally and never looks down on anyone, so there's no way, not even a 0.000001% chance of something wicked down the basement." Mana spoke as if stating a well-known fact or something that's obvious.
"Sorry, it was my mistake. My curiosity just got better of me, but then what's down there? and also why is no one except Scarlet is allowed inside the Master's room?"
Mana's mouth opened agape, surprised by Louis's words 'didn't she just said her curiosity got better of her? then she's asking the same thing again'.
Mana composed herself and spoke, "Well if I have to make a guess, Master probably practices her healing magic down there."
"What? but why down there?"
"Master is being considerate of us, if we see her working so hard, most of us would get worried for her, which she probably doesn't want....Ahhh! such a great master we have." Mana's smile grew even wider.
"I-I see, well that's a possibility"
"Not a possibility! I am sure that's what master does there"
"Sure, whatever makes you happy"
At the same time outside the mansion, Scarlet finished with her sword practice and went inside the mansion to wake Lilith up. The boy still pouring imaginary water over the flowers

"Morning, Master"

"Master" Scarlet started applying more force to the push

"Morning, Wake up"

"Master, Morning"
"...ut..up"
"Wake, Morning, Master"
"..." Lilith thinly opened her eyes and stared coldly at Scarlet, but scarlet didn't mind it and continued nagging Lilith.

10 minutes passed and Scarlet just kept repeating the same thing, the number of veins on Lilith's forehead increasing by one each time
"Wake, Morning, Mast—"
"FUCK OFFF!!!!!"
"JUST SHUT YOUR FUCKING TRAP!!!"
"AGAIN AND AGAIN, JUST MASTER! MASTER! MASTER! MASTER!"
"MASTER'S ASLEEP! CAN'T SEE?! SHOULD I FIX YOUR EYES!?"
Lilith eventually snapped and started cursing Scarlet for the next 30 minutes.

"Awwww! Sorry Scarlet, that was actually~, not directed at you! I was saying these things to the ghost that was standing behind you"
"Ghost?"
"Yes! Ghost! an ugly and hideous ghost! but after my words, he's gone! so no need for worry! g.o.t.c.h.a?!"
That's an excuse she gave Scarlet and rushed off to the washroom.

Downstairs, beside the living room, was located the office room. Inside the room, Lilith was sitting comfortably on the chair while doing some paperwork, Scarlet standing right beside her.
Lilith was wearing a traditional white viscount dress with an outline of black, her hair tied in a neat bun. After finishing some small paperwork, she pulled out a box of letters.
All of these letters were given sent to her today, there were roughly 54 letters. Most of their contents were some people asking for her help specifically her help with healing magic.
Lilith read every one of them and organized them on the desk.
"Scarlet! come here!"
"Yes?" Scarlet standing right beside her spoke.
"Come! sit here!"
Lilith pointed to her lap, Scarlet without thinking twice sat on top of Liltit's Lap. Lilith wrapped her arms around Scarlet's belly and started staring at the organized letters.
"Scarlet, you have gotten fat"
"..."
"Sorry, said that to that ghost behind you"
'but didn't the ghost go away earlier?' thought Scarlet
"So Scarlet! as you can see, out of these 54 letters, 30 are from those piggy Nobels, 11 are from those sympathy grabber commoners, 12 are from those Mut born peasants and last one from incestuous Royalty."
Scarlet just nodded her head.
"Nice~ excellent response"
"Sorry"
"Hm? why are you saying sorry? I was talking to that ghost. Moving on, among these 30 letters, 20 are of requesting healing magic and 10 are wedding proposals. Do what you always do with these wedding proposals and do the usual for these requests as well"
Scarlet took those 10 wedding proposals and threw them in the air.
"FIRI!" and out of Scarlet's left hand a blue flame rose up which burned those letters to ashes, she opened a jar and collected the remaining ashes inside.
"UF! Scarlet! lower the temperature of these flames! you are going to ruin my clothes with sweat!."
"Ash Jar"
"Again~ Nice reply. Put the jar beside the traitor's cell, I will use it later"
"Ok"
"Now! usual for those requests as well"
"12, top"
"Hmm, so today it's 12th from the top. So let's put that one separately ....here ..we..go! so that's one request to fulfill for today. Now for the Commoner's section. Again they are all healing requests.
I have already picked which one to fulfill, the customer is a chef! so we get free food over there, no need for second thoughts"
"Yes"
"As for peasants, they are few so we will go to every one of them"
"Yes"
"The last is royalty, so OF COURSE! we need to personally go there as well. As for the remaining ones tell them to come to me! if they want the treatment!"

"Now with this, the dispute among those nobles should be increasing. All of them just thinking one petty thing 'Why did Priestess visit that xxx guy? why not me? I am more outstanding than him!' with a few exceptions of course. As for the commoners, they should just think 'Our faith is not enough' with again, of course, some exceptions."
"Yes"
"Again! with your fucking Y.E.S! Scarlet! give more priority to your conversation skills from now on!"
Scarlet just hanged her head.
"Awwww! how cute of you to hang your head, but I am saying this for your sake! what would you do when will chant my name in the future as —"
Lilith suddenly got up from the chair *THUMP* and opened the window, magnificently looked up the sky and spread her arms towards it, not noticing the Scarlet who fell from her lap onto the cold wooden ground
"LILITH THE MESSIAH!"
