A Geography Lesson For The Readers

This chapter can be skipped if you want, but i would suggest reading this so that you don't get confused with the names of the places and stuff. Also, you can read this is you ever get confused with the places later on in the story.

The story is based in a continent that is slightly larger in size than Australia and looks like Australia too. There are other continents too but they won't be mentioned much (also they haven't discovered/found some yet).

The name of the continent in which the story takes place is Nous. Now, Nous has 5 major regions: Belbridge, Whitebush, Viloletspell, Brightbay and Apple Heart.

Apple Heart if located right at the centre of the continent (and it's famous for apples). It has no acess to the sea, but shares borders with all other regions. It is the only region which is ruled by a single King (all other regions have constituent Kingdoms).

Belbridge is to the northwest of Nous. Famous for beautiful bridges, kind people and dazzling landscapes. Overall, not very important.

Viloletspell is famous for violet flowers (Yes, I'm very bad at naming places). Located at the southwest. Pretty much self reliant. It is very difficult to get into due to its 'Keep to yourself' idea.

Brightbay, the largest region, is located in the southeast. Has unstable governments always fighting each other. Has the largest coastline which is split between several tiny, always changing kingdoms.

Whitebush is the northeast region with 7 constituent Kingdoms: Deerlake, Orford, Fairwolf, Liburn, Merricrest, Mallowbrook and Arielle(where our protagonists are). There is an area at the centre of the region where all wars are fought, called Blood Bane. Here Fairwolf is the largest kingdom, and Arielle is the second-largest one. Deerlake is freezing cold in the winter and is cold during the summer. Liburn's the same. Arielle has the longest land border, but has a very small coastline. Also, it's the southernmost kingdom in Whitebush. All the rulers of the Kingdoms in Whitebush meet once a year to solve problems with each other (although, honestly, more are created instead).

And in the entire continent, Arielle is the only Kingdom that is ruled by a queen, without a king.
