Lilacs

I was never meant to be more than just a friend. Just like I was never meant to fall in love with him. Fate was against us and that should have been enough sign for us to fight our attraction. Humans have always been keen on having a taste of the forbidden fruit, an addiction that will led us to our doom. I knew she was not my to keep but I wanted her, I desired her. She was my addiction, my safe haven. And I'm not willing to let her go.
