6 Roll Baby Roll

(Three months)

They said babies grow every day, you should watch them carefully. Then, was it only me? Few months only, but it's like FOREVER. I didn't feel growing at all.

[I wanna run free…!]

Hahh. My salvation's of course my beautiful mother. Whoever Kamisama that made me my mother's child, thank you so much!

I couldn't freely move my body yet, but at least my eyes got used to look left and right. If I tried really, really hard, I could lift my head for a few second. I was delight every time Mother praised me with a beautiful smile. That dimples sure were cute. I deserved a reward. Just so you know, baby was the most tiring and dangerous job. So, don't underestimated baby's helplessness!

"Lil…, Mother need to go, just for a moment. Be a good girl, okay?" Mother said. She put me on the bed.

[Oh, it's time for Mother to take a medicine bath. Okay, Mother, I'll be waiting… take your time, slowly!]

"You two, wait here. Don't go outside."

""Yes, my Lady,"" the twin answered.

Oh, I remembered. After I saw the diamond moon that night, I finally realized, there were two Annies beside Mother. Could you imagine my feeling? It's almost the same level of surprise to the news that I am a real princess. Well, I even accepted there was a big jewel hanging on the sky, what was so big about being a princess and a pair maid with the same face?

"Princess, Lady Ellie will come back soon. Don't be upset, okay. Aahh, so cute… can I kidnap you?"

There was no special babysitter-like maid for me. I didn't know why, except the twin, the other servants avoided me. They often look here with curious gazes, but no one play with me. I was a kind and easy going baby, I must said. Well, I felt lonely when Mother went somewhere, so I liked to have people around.

The twin, Anna and Annie were Mother's maids. Their faces, I still couldn't tell them apart if they just standing there doing nothing. But the one that wanted a baby was Anna. And of course, the other one with 'no comment' look was Annie.

By the way, Grandma went home. Even if I said that I didn't like Grandma, I missed her already. It's so comfortable when she gave me a body massage after bath. Well, it's the only reason… I disliked, but couldn't bring myself to hate her.

"If only King and Queen come to see Princess Lilianne, they'll surely feel once won't be enough. I heard Queen came to Rose garden. Again. What's up with her?!"

"Anna, don't raise your voice! What if someone… hhh! I understand your feeling. But, what we can do is limited. We just need to do our best."

"I know, Annie, I know. Sorry."

[King and Queen... that means, my paternal grandparents? Yes, what's up with them? Did they prefer a grandson too?] I guessed they took it harder, because they wouldn't even meet me.

"Excuse me...," voice coming from outside the door.

"Who?" Anna warily asked while Annie moved to stand in front of me.

"Sister Anna, Sister Annie? It's Ulya. I need to change the bed sheet and the quilt."

"Oh, okay, come in." Anna answered her.

Anna took me, and Annie helped Ulya.

I was busying myself examining Anna's hair. The braid was neat, and the butterfly hairpin on it was pretty. My pervious self has a short hair. I wondered if Mother would let me grow my hair.

"Have your dinner yet? I'll help, you can get your dinner first. Kitchen will close in an hour." Ulya looked at me. "Princess is so quite, unlike my siblings at home."

Annie shook her head, "Thanks, Ulya, but no thanks. We'll wait for Lady Ellie, she will be here in no time."

"Well... okay. Then, I go first." Ulya brought the old sheet and quilt with her.

Anna squinted at the close door. Then she put me on the bed.

"Do you see something?" -Anna-

"No. If there is magic good, I'll sense it right away. Why'd you ask?" -Annie-

"Hmm... I don't know. These days, I felt some nasty eyes. Everywhere."

Not much happened in my life. Eat, sleep, bath, massage, listen to maids gossiping around, and another sleep. Well, I moved my body every now and then. Mostly because I bored. So, don't get me wrong. I wasn't an active type as much as I wasn't an outdoor type.

[Yep… yep… almost… YES!!] Just to roll my body, it needed all my might.

Just after a moment of delight, I found myself in awkward pose.

"Maybe just my imagination. Ahh... you can do it, Princess! Come on, just a little bit more!" Anna happily and excitedly screaming liked a professional cheerleader. "Go... go... Princess, go!"

[Anna... shut up, please. Annie… don't just stare, I'm stuck here! Hey, you thought I didn't see you smirking there, huh?! Ahh... Mother, the twin bullied me, help...!]

I couldn't move forward. I couldn't roll backward. So, I helplessly laid my head on the back of my hands. I let you see my embarassing moment there. Whatever, I'm tired!
