1 Day one

Hannah's first 24 hours entering the world. She had a bit of a rough start. But picked up dramatically. In all of her pictures she is wearing her very fashionable glasses.

They protect her eyes from the light of phototherapy. The phototherapy treats her for joundice. Her levels differ from day to day.

(First 24 Hours)

Her tube going through her nostril is her ventilator. it runs right down to her lungs to assist with her breathing. She won't be on the ventilator for her entire time in the hospital as it can bruise the lungs. ( Or more commonly known as "Scarring".) I think the longest time is two weeks of treatment with the ventilator.

in this picture here Hannah has a full length BIC per under her to show just how big she is. Small huh?.

(Day Two)

Day Two for Hannah went well, responding to the ventilator also very well. She still looks very fragile and frail. But I think she will fill out soon enough. her dad "Steve" came to her for the first time today. Absolutely priceless. Could not believe how small she really was. She is just so precious. She looks a little bit puffy in spots but I'm assuming that is from birth. is pinkish in Coburn and can see little bits of her face as she has tape in place to hold her ventilator in place. At the moment she has a line in her belly button that I think fluids go into. She has an DV for medication and vitamins. E. A. C. In a few days the line in her belly will change to a Gavage tube into her mouth for feeding. Day Two went rather well and quietly.
