CH 2 Labeled as lover

Its already been a week since Lizel and Mino became official, and those seven days passed by like a dream.

Lizel strokes her thumb to his whenever they hold hands, Mino replies by stroking her hair and cups her cheeks; pinching it most of the time.

Being with Mino is like a blessing and a curse. Lizel appreciates the cuddle and surprise back hugs she receives from Mino, but she feels a bit uncomfortable though that whenever moments like those happen someone is taking pictures of them.

While on her way to the cafeteria, her friend Clio taps her shoulder, when as she was turning her head, Clio's finger poked her cheek.

"Haha Clio, so what are you going to order?"

"Hey, you knew me so well. I want the fried rice with goat meat and egg; also" Clio then rapidly taps her shoulder

"That one! the infamous thai milk tea they're selling. I'll wait for you at the table there okay" She points to the table closest to the window.

Before Clio could go to the table Lizel puts her hand on Clio' shoulder

"Hey, pay-up first. I'm not gonna fall for that 'you said earlier it was a treat' trick of yours again."

Clio then gave Lizel a pout " how stingy are you?" Clio then takes out her wallet and hands it to Lizel.

"Here, pay for your meal as well, take as a congratulatory gift for you and your Mino." Clio giggled as she saw Lizel turn red and heads to the table

As Lizel tooks her seat Clio quickly grabs the one she ordered.

"So~ How was your weeksary with Mino?" A grin pasted on her face.

"I somehow feel like a highschool girl experiencing puppy love, all over again~~"

"That's good to hear dear." Clio then leans and grabs Lizels hands.

"But remember dear, you are only on the honeymoon stage. Don't fall too hard yet."

Lizel then nudges Clio's shoulder

"Stop talking like my mom Clio." Lizel giggled.

" Well you know I gotta tell you that. Don't wanna see end up like a mess again." Clio then takes a spoonful and points her spoon like a stick

"You have a knack for falling to trouble girl. Hmmm plus!" Clio then quickly takes out her phone and quickly pulls up something to show Lizel.

"Girl, I didn't know you're love life is now a documentary series. Facebook fanpage logging your lovelife."

Lizel turns her head, and rubs her shoulder, and forced a smile.

"It's fine, they are just being supportive people. Mino is also doing youtube and other online stuff."

"Well I guess, thats a quirk of having a  social online boyfriend. You have everyone as free photographers."

"It's not a big issue. No biggie"

"That's what she said." Clio chuckled.

"Alright, alright very funny haha. Better finish those up or I'll steal those fried egg." Lizel threatens with her fork.

Clio then quickly covers her food as she quickly gobbles it up.

While Lizel was laughing at Clio she felt a hand slide down from her shoulder to her hand. It was Mino.

Lizel blushed when she saw Mino, on the other hand Clio shivered when she saw it.

"You know Mino, if you ain't Lizels boyfriend that is full blown creepy."

"But he is, so it is not creepy Ok?" Lizel exclaimed

"Ok, ok." Clio puts her hands up to surrender to Lizel's defense.

Mino puts his arm on Lizel.

"So what you guys talking about?"

Lizel looked at Mino as if he was so ethereal, or how she sees a lone pizza in the fridge at times where her hunger and finances at most sparce.

"Just girl stuff, mostly about Lizel."

"Well if its about Lizel, I wanna hear about it."

Lizel felt her ears getting red as she hears Mino's words.

"Mino~ stop."

"What I'm telling the truth."

Clio looked at them as how conservative children look at their flirting parents.

"Ok, I know you two are couple no need to publicly show."

Clio's phone then suddenly dinged a notification, upon checking on it she quickly turned to the table on the other side.

"Girl really?! Really need to post a video of Mino sliding his hand to Lizel's?!"

Clio gripped her purse tightly and was about to stand up. Lizel quickly grabbed her arm and shakes her head; looking at Lizel, Clio could only sigh and straightened her back to her seat.

"Price of fame huh Lizel?"

"Don't worry too much Clio."

"Yeah, don't worry Clio. Lizel and I got this." Mino locks his fingers with Lizel as he said those words.

"All good buddy. I'll see you later Lizel, I'm gonna meet Elly and Mei."

Clio then grabs her purse, and stands up.

"Let me know if you want to go with us later for book hunting."

Clio and Lizel waves goodbye at each other. Lizel then continued to eat together with  Mino; as they were eating Mino took a photo of him and Lizel, he said that it was a memory for his own.

As they were on their way to the lecture room, Mino talked to Lizel about the packages he received.

"Lizel, some companies sent me some free stuff to try, like skin care and stuff. Would you like to do it with me?"

"You are paid just to try them out?"

Mino raised a brow at her question.

"You interested Lizel?" he smirked.

Lizel immediately waved her hands to decline, Mino let out a laugh and softly patted his head.

"I know you're just curious. Let mw explain though" he then clears his throat

"Some actually don't they just want me to actually just test it out and hope for the best. But those that pay me, gives me a script or like keywords that they want me to say for the product."

"So if its full of positive remarks from you, that means you're being paid huh?"

"Well most of them, but some I actually really really like. Because they suit me." He then turns to Lizel and looked directly through hazel eyes "Like you; you are suitable for me."

Lizel gave a soft punch to Mino's shoulder and covered her face. Mino pulled her in his arms in reply.

"What are you getting shy for? I'm the one who said it?"

"You're embarrassing me." Lizel still covering her face.

Mino hugged Lizel a bit tighter and whispers to her ear

"How can I go to the next level if, you get flustered by this?" Mino playfully bites her ear

Shocked by Mino's sudden action Lizel immediately pulls away.

Hands on her ear and face feeling hotter.

Mino put his arm around Lizel and winks at her.

"Come on we gotta go to the next class."

Lizel was still on shock and walks along like a doll

Just before they enter the room Mino whispers Lizel

"Oh yeah, later join your friends on their book hunting later. I want you to miss me." Mino proceeds to bites his lower lip like and formed a smile, Lizel getting weaker by the second by Mino.

Like a prey being stared down by its predator, no escape only waiting to be devoured.

As they now enter the room Mino was greeted by his friends, he tells Lizel to go to her friends as he heads to them.

Lizel then seats next Clio, behind them was Mei and Elly. All three of them looking at Lizel with utter excitement to tell her something.

Lizel describes their look of how spongebob smiles and waits  beside squidward to tell his jokes.

"Hey Lizel, guess what we have here."  Elly grins at Lizel

"Don't say it like that she got herself to some trouble." Mei shushes Elly as she chuckles behind Lizel

"Could you please tell me what it is guys?" Lizel obviously puzzled

Clio then shows her phone to Lizel; it was a clip of Mino and Lizel on the way to the classroom.

Three of them playfully teased Lizel, as she goes red just by seeing the thumbnail.

Lizel shushed and proceeded to read the comments. She felt her heart melt as she reads such supportive and even squealing comments about them.

Some are even asking on how to get a "Mino" that made her laugh; as she scrolled through in excitement.

Maybe being popular on campus wasn't so bad after all.

As she reads through the comments of squealing and support, from sunshine and rainbow, it all took a sudden shift. Lizel sees comments as well about her being a clout chaser, a user, asking how much  did she pay Mino to be his girlfriend.

The second Mei took notice of her face, she quickly grabbed the phone and handed it back to Clio.

" Don't be affected too much with whatever you read. It's pretty obvious that those stemmed from jealousy." Mei pats Lizel's back

"Also, they are not in a relationship with Mino. It's you. Don't seek validation and also you've just been together for a week."  Elly added.

Lizel felt comfort with their words. They're right, Lizel and Mino has been a couple for a week yet there bond is only going to get stronger day by day and that's what she should look forward to.

As the professor goes inside the room Lizel went back to her original seat next to Mino. As soon Mino sees her he smiled and she knew why he was smiling, Lizel then takes out a fox candy in her bag ang gives it to Mino.

Mino was smiling ear to ear, as if it was something expensive. Before they became a couple Lizel has been giving Mino a fox candy whenever they meet or seat beside each other.

That's how she fell for him after all, his cute ear to ear smile whenever she gives the candy.

How his eyes sparkle whenever they meet in hall and his hand already reaching out before they became within reach. She liked the little innocence he hides, the puppy side to the slab of aesthetic he projects.

Lizel liked that the most of Mino, being ethereal was a plus she ain't going to deny that. She now just looks forward to know more, now that she is his lover.

As the professor then concluded the lecture Lizel was hugged by Mino and wishes her safe when goes to her friend. Mino's phone then suddenly lit up and dinged , Mino immediately lets go of Lizel and asked if she saw what the notification was.

"Did you- uhm.. did you see what the notification was?" a slight tremble was heard in his voice

Lizel shakes her head "No, why? Is it like a surprise or  something?" Lizel tilts her head and tries to peek

"Hey, I said its nothing. Get home safe ok?"

Mino immediately stood up and waved Lizel goodbye. Lizel waves back and smiled as she thought.

"It's definitely a surprise for me. I'm sure."
