12 The search for Effin
"Morning everyone. Be Careful on your journey" Shol said in front of everyone and spread his wings and flew with Aunt Aost on a bird.
We are now preparing before we go. They gave us some gears and somehow clothes that will fit our powers. Some of us here also have their animals with them.
"Nix" I called for my Phoenix. She appeared in the sky and landed between me and my brother.
"Let's go?" My brother asks as the other team are already leaving for their mission.
"Sure. Let's go find our father"
We both climbed my Phoenix and it flew through the gate to the human world.
We are now flying to Mount Everest then I remembered something.
"Sevan, would we make a scene from below? They will look and ask why there is a big bird flying around and somehow it has flames" I said.
"Don't worry Nix has a shadow under wherein it is facing the land. I controlled the shadow where we are not visible from below" He explains.
We continued our journey to the Mount. Everest. According to Shol it is the highest mountain in this world and he said that we should be careful climbing it. Tho I have a Phoenix so climbing won't be a problem.

"We're here" I said as Nix landed.
"I will use my shadow to scatter so that we will know when someone is close" My brother said and he used his gift.
"Nix guided us" I said to my Phoenix and she flew just above us looking around.
"Are you done?" I asked my brother so that we could proceed.

We walked around until we saw this cave. We looked at each other then we saw some trails that also lead to the cave.
"This might be father's trail" My brother said and so we followed the trail.
As we were getting deeper to the cave we heard someone speaking.
"It's getting darker. Eine can you give us light" My brother ask and hold up my left hand to produce fire and it was light we used.
"The voice is getting clearer," I said as I noticed the person was close.
"Shhh maybe it's not father yet let me use my shadow to find out who it is. Put out your fire first he may notice some light coming from here." Sevan said.
I put out my fire and was about to look at my brother but he is not there anymore.
"Sevan?" I ask. The heck why did he leave me here.
"Sevan?!?" I whisper.
He suddenly appeared in front of me.
"He is gone," He whisper.
"What do you mean he is gone?" I ask and then somehow it is true the voice earlier was gone.
I put up a fire again in my hands and my brother suddenly looked shocked.
"Are you okay?" I ask and then someone suddenly grabs me.
"WHO ARE YOU?!?" the man said as he grabbed me. He is very strong. I couldn't move.
I saw my brother stun the person you grabbed me so that he couldn't move.
"LET ME GO!" As I said those words I let out an extreme heat onto my body so that it will be too hot for him to touch me.
As he let go of me my brother spread out his hands and the darkness in this cave went into one spot. Our... Father's feet so that he cannot move in his spot.
"Father..." I said as I saw his face clearly.
Somehow he doesn't know us or recognize us.
"Hold him still" I said to my brother.
I went close to him and looked at his eyes and I saw something...
"Something is blocking his sight. He have to help him"
"How?" My brother replied.
"How about we remind him who we are" As I said those my brother agreed.
"F- Father. It's Eine and Sevan your children. Please fight whatever is blocking your eyes. I know it still hurts knowing that mother died... But Sevan and I are still here and we will fight together... I- I wanna say sorry to you last time we saw each other... I'm sorry that I couldn't answer you that time... I was also blinded by what truly is happening... Father... We will avenge mother" I touched father's cheeks and his tears started dripping as so as mine and Sevan.
"It's working," I said as the orange part that is in front of his eyes is fading.
"Father... Come back to us..." My brother said and ran towards father and hugged him and me.
We suddenly felt Father's arms around us and he spoke.
"I- I'm s- sorry my children... I couldn't do anything back then for your mother... I- I wasn't even there when she encountered Risth. I will protect the both of you" Father said while crying.
"Someone is here" Brother became scared when he spoke and the shadows that he sent went back to him...
"Wh- " I was about to ask who but then I felt a great presence of power.
"Risth..." My father whispered.
I can also hear my Phoenix alarming us from the sky.
"What should we do?!?" My brother asks and yet I can see in his eyes the fear he is feeling.
"You two must go. I have to face him so that you two can escape" Our father planned us to escape while he will be encountering Risth but it is a no for me.
"No! I will not let you do that. You are no match for him! Please... Please father. There may be another escape" I beg.
He looked at Sevan and then back to me.
"Sevan darken up the place again" He commands and as Sevan darks the place he pulls us both to hide.
"Control your power to be silent" He commands the both of us.
Silence... It is still quiet but I can still feel the presence of Risth... He is too powerful...
"Every power that everyone has. There is a key to its power to gain its fullest." Father started talking but with a low voice. Sevan and I looked at each other and we did not understand what father was trying to say.
"Effin" Someone spoke and he was just near us.
"Effin my boy... Come out from your hiding spot I know your here" He pauses.
"No... Eine. Come out, you're the one I want!" He said in command and the stone we are hiding at was thrown onto the side.
"Sevan darken his sight!" Father commanded.
"PLEASE LISTEN TO ME BOTH OF YOU... YOU HAVE TO ESCAPE I DON'T WANT TO LOSE ANY OF YOU. THIS IS OUR ONLY HOPE FOR YOU TWO TO ESCAPE!" He added.
I felt so much anger it made my eyes change.
"I'm not gonna leave you here and let you have the same faith like our mother" I answered.
"We are not kids anymore, father" Sevan adds.
"Oh so I guess it's a fight with your grandfather. Well then even you darken my sight I can still sense you. Bring it on" Risth said with a laugh.
