15 Mera's words

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"Eine wake up Aunt Aost and the others are already at the hall" Sevan said from the other side of the door.

I yawn as I get up from bed. I prepared myself fast. I also have to check on Nix at the animal care center.

As I got out of the room I saw father's vase where we put his cremated body. 

"Hello father… I hope you are happy now with mom. Guide me and Sevan on our journey. I love you both." I said while cleaning it a bit. 

The pain is still present within me. But what can I do? I have to accept what happened and I have to be strong for my brother. I don't want him to be weak like me.

"Eine let's go" My brother called.

On our way to the hall I stopped by at the animal care center with my brother.

I saw Nix my phoenix with a white towel wrapped on her legs.

"What happened to her?" I asked.

Vi, Ivy's older sister explained to me that Nix may have had a bad landing yesterday. She also said that Nix will be better in a couple of days.

We were running more late so me and Sevan went straight to the hall. Everyone was waiting for us… My bad.

"Eine what took both of you so long?" Aunt Aost said.

"Well sis here woke up late" Sevan replied.

"Well let's not brag about that now. Eine, Sevan. I want you two to meet some of our new recruits. Please introduce yourselves recruits" Shol said.

3 people lined up. 2 boys and a girl.

"Hi my name is El. I may have the power of transforming myself into different kinds of creature" A young boy with green eyes said. Ahhh I see its shape shifting.

"I'm Ryn and I am like a computer. As a computer that is smart I too with just a young age can make my ideas come in life with technology" Said by the girl with pink glasses.

"I'am Dane and my power is Ice" He said and made the floor underneath him onto ice.

I thought that was all of it but then it made me shocked to know that there is one more. 

Shol went to the back to get this girl.

"Everyone this Mera she has the power to manipulate people" Shol introduced her to everyone.

"Everyone take a rest for a moment at your homes and wait for the next call. Thank you for your cooperation" As everyone went home me, Sevan, Aunt Aost, Shol, and this Mera were left.

"Eine, Sevan. Please meet Mera, she is also one of me and your mother's friend" Said by Shol.

I shaked hands with her and smiled. Something was up when I held her hand. I don't know I just had a feeling.

We went back to our home with Shol and Mera. It's just me and Mera in the living room right now. Sevan and Aunt Aost are preparing some food while Shol has to get something.

"You should not trust others for it is not safe" All of a sudden Mera spoke. Somehow her voice was kinda familiar. I might have heard it before I just couldn't remember where.

What does she mean that I should not trust others? I was about to ask a question when Shol entered the room.

He is holding this huge map. He prepared the map on the floor and waited for Aunt Aost and Sevan to get back.

While waiting I couldn't stop myself from staring at Mera. Her words earlier somehow won't leave me be. Who is she? Is there something about her that Shol or Aunt Aost doesn't know?

"Sis are you okay?" Sevan asks as they get in the living room. I just nodded as answer.

While eating, Shol was about to start explaining why he had prepared this map on the floor when Alio came. 

"Alio have a seat. I will explain something" Shol said.

As he sat down beside me Mera looked very unusual to Alio. Somehow I saw Alio nodded his head to Mera so she suddenly focused on Shol.

Do they know each other? DAMN! Am I just overthinking stuff? I think I would rather take a rest later.

"Okay so I have here some red dots to put on the map. These are locations of the gifted one's. We can rescue them before Risth gets his hands on them but. We cannot act all of a sudden those red dots have lessened this week about a hundred. That just means that Risth is on the move. Remember that on the mission there were people who fought our fellow comrades? This is a sign that we should train more. We will assign some of these animals like Nix to our comrades to help on their mission. We will also give everyone a gear that will help them also to control their powers to the max." Shol explained.

It's a big plan but it will help us more. 

As our meeting was about to end I saw Aunt Aost and Shol talking but not speaking. Looks like Aunt Aost asked about something but Shol rejected it. I don't know what is really happening. I can't put everything together in pieces… AHHHHHHHH DAMN IT.

We were about to get out to bring everyone to the hall so that we could announce the plan when someone pulled me back to the house. 

I was shocked to see Mera. She holded me at my mouth. 

"There is someone in this world that your mother created that shouldn't be trusted. That person is trying to stop you. Don't trust anyone" As she finished speaking she let go of me and exited the room. 

I am on my way to the hall and couldn't get out what Mera just said. From her words I don't know if I should trust her too. What can I do? Her powers are manipulating people. What if she is just manipulating me?
