4 4-Quirk Training (1)
After mom knew about my quirk she was so excited, she couldn't wait till dad got home from work, so she called him and let him know about my quirk right away.
Now that mom is super exacted about my quirk, I know I could possibly ask for anything, and she is very likely to get it for me while she is excited.
"Mom, now that I have a strong quirk, can I learn martial arts?"-Aska
'Please say yes, I want to awaken armament before I go to high school, and god knows how long it will take to awaken that.' thought Aska to himself, getting excited about the prospect of having both, observation and armament haki.
"Why are you in such a rush, Aska? Even if you have a strong quirk, you have to wait until you're older before, you could rain your body" -mom
'I failed. I thought since she was excited she would let me learn martial arts, but guess not' thought Aska with a disappointed look on his face
Seeing his face "Don't be so sad Aska. How about this, I'll find a quirk instructor to teach you how to use your quirk. This way you can control your quirk better, ok?"
"Thanks mom" -Aska not as sad as before.
That evening when dad came back home, he was so excited about me getting a quirk that strong, he even bought a cake on his way to celebrate. after we had a small party celebrating me getting a quirk, I was sitting on the couch when mom and dad had on of their arguments in the kitchen
"So…as to not let him learn martial arts, you promised to get him a quirk instructor?" dad asked with a sarcastic tone
"Yes, he is too young to learn martial arts" -mom
"you're right that makes complete sense, instead of teaching him how to throw a simple punch. let's teach him how to throw a thunder bolt" - said dad sarcastically yet again
"First of all, no one will teach him anything about throwing thunder bolts, ok. Just someone to help him control his quirk, you saw the mark he made on the wall when he awakened his quirk. It wasn't big or anything. but if a child was hit with that, they would get injured really badly or even die" -mom, saying that last part quietly.
"you have a point, I'll see who I could find" - dad
[Next day]
"mom why are you here with me?''- Askaa sked as him and his mom were walking inside the school together.
"When a child awakens a quirk, the parents have to report to the school, for them to start your quirk counseling" - mom
"why? I don't need counseling" - Aska
mom chuckled and said "that's not up to you to decide, everyone has to go through it"
(A/N: I have no idea how long does quirk counseling last for, so I'll make it last for the entirety of preschool)
'Great! Now for the next two years I have to waste my time doing that'
After going to the front office, mom had a chat with one of the councilors, who asked questions like, what was my quirk, was there any change in my behavior after I awakened my quirk, and a few other questions, after answering all of them, mom said goodbye, and I went to class.
On my way to my class, I saw the future villain, Himiko Toga. She was being reprimanded by one of the teachers for doing something. From what I heard when I was walking by, she seems to have poked a classmate with a pencil or something.
After reaching the classroom, I sat in my usual seat. The rest of the day was yet again boring beyond words.
After school was over mom took me and we went grocery shopping, we had a hot pot dinner, which was delicious.

Life went on like that for Aska for a whole month with nothing exciting happening. But for the past month he met with a councilor twice a week, for one hour. Aska thought it was a waste of time and effort. But the last thing he wants, is for people to think his quirk has mentally effected him, so he made sure to always be positive during those conversations, he even mentioned wanting to become a hero a few times.
Today was exciting for Aska, since today he will meet his quirk instructor for the first time.
For the last month Aska wasn't just doing nothing. On multiple occasions he tried to control electricity. He could even feel the light blue energy inside his body much clearer than before
Now Aska could create electricity at will. though he is limited to a few volts, he could also send a stream of electricity out of his body but he has absolutely no control over it.
His observation haki didn't improve at all, his range was still ten feet around him.
It was currently 4 in the afternoon, there was a knock on the door when my mom opened the door there was a man in his late forties with a yellow hair and the tips of his hair were orange in color. He was wearing a kimono that was yellow in color fading into orange around the edges with white triangles all over and he was carrying a katana on his side.
'He looks like an older version of a character from another anime. I never watched that anime, so I have no idea what his abilities are' thought Aska as he was eyeing the man at the door.
"Hello ma'am my name is Zenitsu Agatsuma I'm supposed to be meeting the Minamoto family, did I get the right address?"
"Yes, welcome Mr. Agatsuma we've been waiting for you, please come in" -mom
"please call me Zenitsu" said the man as he walked in
"Sorry if I was late, I'm not used to moving around a big city yet" -Zenitsu
"Oh, if I'm not mistaken my husband did mention something about you not being from the main land"- mom
"That's true, I used to live on Nabu Island and worked there for 25 years as the local hero. there was a young hero who was there to take my place so I had the chance to retire early. After I retired, I decided to go to the main land maybe I'll see something new, that's when a friend of mine who knew your husband told me about this job opportunity."
After Zenitsu and mom chatted for a bit, and mom made clear that she wanted all of the training to happen in our backyard so that she could make sure I'm ok at all times, and she also wanted him to teach me control above all else.
Now standing in the back yard staring at me was this middle aged man Zenitsu.
"Well then lets start with introductions, my name is Zenitsu Agatsuma, you can call me Mr. Zenitsu, and I'll be your instructor, my quirk is thunder accumulation, it allows me to accumulate the electromagnetic currents in the air into a specific type of metal, which is what my sword is made of by the way, and it gives my sword lightning properties, making it faster, sharper, and so on."
"My name is Aska Minamoto, I'm four years old, and I want to be a hero when I grow up, my quirk is Electrokinesis, which allows me to create and control lightning."
"What a powerful quirk you got there Aska, but having powerful quirk won't help without control over it. From what I could feel, you're restricting the electric currents inside your body as we speak correct?" -Mr. Zenitsu
"Yes" - Aska
"Ok, don't do that, from what your dad told me before coming here, is that you should be immune to your own quirk, so don't be scared and let the electric currents take its natural course."
I tried to do that but I failed completely, the second I let the energy run on it's own, small lightning bolts flew around me.
"Aska, hold on for a moment, try sitting down first into a meditation position, and try again"
I followed the instructions of Mr. Zenitsu and let the light blue energy inside my body move freely. when that happened, there was a crackling sound heard as a small amount of lightning danced around my hair,
and for a second I even got the legendary MC glowing sperm in my left eye.
after the initial shockwave from letting the energy run free, the energy calmed down and all the electricity was contained inside my body with nothing leaving, but the second I tried to stand up, the energy ran rampant again and small bots flew around yet again.
By the time all of this happened it was time 8 at night, and mom called us in for dinner, but Mr. Zenitsu, declined and took his leave. He said he will come back tomorrow at 4 to continue our training.
