7 Chapter 7 - Encounter

A white lightning streak fell down from the dark clouds above the skies, and a thundering sound reverberated throughout the surrounding area. However, Kumogakure was a village surrounded by dark clouds every single day, so thunder wasn't an uncommon sound.

It's just that today, it was different. The sound of thunder kept reverberating, and it was louder and louder by the next one as if the end of the world was coming. A lightning storm started, and so lightning fell down continuously. It was just weird that it didn't really affect the environment, as if something absorbed it.

Ay, who was in his office alongside Darui and C, suddenly looked out of his office while frowning, 'A lightning storm...? This isn't normal at all, maybe it's related to Naruto and that weird power of Lightning?'

The more Ay thought about it, the more reasonable it sounded, for some reason. It was as if it was a natural way of thought, and so the Fourth Raikage immediately stood up and said, ''Darui, C, stay here. I'll go see what's happening, and will soon come back.''

A streak of lightning was the only thing left as his body disappeared right in front of them. Darui and C looked at each other blankly, and the former said helplessly, ''He probably won't come back soon, right?''

Sighing in an equally helpless form, C nodded, ''Yeah, most likely...''

...

A white flash fell down from the dark clouds above the skies, but it didn't damage any environment, weirdly enough. At the same time, on Naruto's location, a small storm of lightning surrounded the boy.

And Naruto had his eyes closed, appearing in a dark space.

A moist feeling came to Naruto's feet, looking down, all he could see was an endless ground covered by a thin layer of water. The walls formed a huge labyrinth surrounded by infinite darkness, but Naruto could feel something at the end of each route.

Without hesitation, the young boy walked throughout the dark space, always going forward. His sky-blue eyes seemed to be the only illumination in the endless darkness, and so Naruto continued walking.

And walking.

As if fatigue didn't exist in this dark space, Naruto walked for an unknown amount of time, all before reaching a huge room in the dark space. It was like a cell, with many bars going from the ground to somewhere Naruto's eyes couldn't see due to the darkness.

''Have you gotten here, already?'' A voice came to his ears, from behind the many tall bars. It was a voice filled with hate, anger, and desire to destroy. Looking up, Naruto saw an agglomeration of red chakra and two glowing red-colored eyes.

Naruto had seen images of most Tailed Beasts in the book about the Basics of Chakra, as it said that they were being made by chakra. It could be said that they are the purest manifestation of Chakra, which also made him think...

'Why are such pure beings filled with hate?' It was a question that couldn't escape his mind, but Naruto was able to quickly figure out the reason.

It was a small desire to laugh, but it was instantly blocked by his feelings and face. It was a somewhat scary thing to appear on a young boy about 4 years old, but Naruto's face was emotionless, having a blank expression.

The red agglomeration of chakra turned its two eyes towards Naruto, and so it said, ''Oh? Aren't you afraid of me, little brat?''

Hearing the question, Naruto turned out to look at the sealed Tailed Beast, ''No.''

''HAHAHA.''

Kyuubi couldn't help but laugh loudly after hearing the answer, but its answer was filled with hate, ''To think that your first contact with Chakra would have such a phenomenon, even making you come here.''

''But this is not a place you should come as of now.'' As Kyuubi said this, he was preparing to kick Naruto out of this space. Unless Naruto had a stronger mind to keep himself here, he could only get kicked out.

But Kyuubi stopped for a moment, because Naruto said, ''I hope that one day, the two of us can have a happy life, for once.''

''One day, the two of us won't suffer anymore,'' Naruto said while smiling, and it somehow broke Kyuubi's thoughts.

Because it knew that such a smile carried the purest thoughts of a boy whose heart had been broken and that the amount of effort he put to have such a smile was unbearable. If the psychological pain was to be compared, it wasn't any different than having to cut off your own limbs, despite it not being necessary.

In the next moment, Kyuubi kicked Naruto out of their space, but his thoughts were extremely chaotic. At the same time, he couldn't help but think that perhaps, with this human, a good partnership could be reached.

'How could I even think of this... Humans, no matter how they are, they will never be the same with us, Tailed Beasts! It's foolish to think that this kid won't change once he grows up.' Kyuubi thought while mocking himself, disappointed that he was almost fooled.

...

On reality.

Naruto's eyes slowly opened, and saw the lightning storm around him, 'Don't be so chaotic... Return to me.'

With extended hands, all of the bolts of Lightning returned to his own hands, before simply disappearing. The dark clouds on the sky dissipated, and so Naruto focused on the chakra paper.

In the ''big'' time that passed on the dark space, it was actually just ten or so seconds in reality. The paper on Naruto's hands first became wet, before being cut in half...

RUMBLE!

The sound of thunder reverberated throughout the room, once again. Sparkles of Lightning surrounded the paper, burning and piercing it. In the end, the paper simply disappeared due to the heat that was constantly produced by the Lightning.

It just happened that Ay arrived right on the time that the small phenomenon happened, and so he was shocked to the core, 'I- I think his Lightning affinity is just a bit different, right?'

Yes, the burly and strong-minded Fourth Raikage, being called the fastest Raikage in history and the fastest Ninja of the current Ninja World, had a mental breakdown.

It simply ignored any kind of Chakra Affinity knowledge he had before.

[1] LOL, imagine the Fourth Raikage who was always acting tough in the anime, being utterly speechless and having a mental breakdown because of a Chakra Affinity. Maybe my humor is a bit broken as well, but this is funny, ngl.
