3 Chapter 3 - A new Path

[Note: My thanks to Cyber_Anubis who ignited my determination to write once again. I'm in a bad phase where I'm not the best of me, but I hope you all can enjoy my little fanfic.]

Life wasn't easy for anyone, principally for the young boy known as Uzumaki Naruto, and even the sunniest boy could be swallowed by the dark night. Once this happened, he never treated Konoha as his home, not anymore.

Finding a strange fruit, he swallowed it and ran away with all his strength! He only stopped due to tiredness, falling unconscious before being found by his father's rival and friend, Ay, the Fourth Raikage. [Note 2: This is a small recapitulation of what happened in the past two chapters, as it has been a few days since they were posted.]

In a specially prepared room, Kumogakure.

A young boy with blond hair, blue eyes like the clear sky and three whiskers on each side of his face, opened his eyes dazedly. The memory of what happened came to his mind, and two faces greeted him.

''Yo, he woke up, brother! Ya, as expected, he's fast like Minato!'' B said while moving his hands strangely, using a rap-like speech. Of course, his raps were nothing but really weird.

Ay nodded while staring at Naruto with a complicated expression, one that was rare to appear on him, the Fourth Raikage. In contrast to his tall, burly body, Ay's tone was very gentle, ''Naruto, you may not know, but I'm Ay, the Fourth Raikage of Kumogakure.''

''I was a rival of your father, but also one of his only true friends.'' Ay said as Naruto stared back at him with shock evident in his eyes, but confusion, sadness and fear appeared on the sky-blue eyes as well.

The boy wasn't stupid, nor was he dumb.

Nobody in the village knew the intelligence deeply hidden underneath a figure of stupidity, fear, and loads of beatings. His tone was low, but it was still heard by Ay and B, ''If the Fourth Raikage was a rival of my father... Was he a ninja from Konoha...?''

Hearing the boy's words, Ay couldn't help but feel slightly surprised, 'It seems that this boy has inherited Minato's intelligence, eh? I wonder where that old bastard's mind was, ignoring this...'

Then, he nodded gently before continuing, ''Yes, I won't hide it from you. Your father is called Minato Namikaze, and he's not a simple Ninja from Konoha! He's the Fourth Hokage, from what I know... He has died to stop the rampage of the Kyuubi.''

Before Naruto could react, another bomb was dropped, ''And you, Uzumaki Naruto, is his son, someone who had the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed inside you, a Jinchuuriki.''

''Just like me, yo, we're the same!'' B added with a smile, crossing both arms on his chest's position.

All information was absorbed by Naruto's mind, and so it started working, thinking about them. Ay and B stood by his side silently, and they unconsciously gave emotional support to the young Uzumaki. The tears that were hidden from everyone for the past three years couldn't help but fall down.

''But why? What... What did I do to deserve this? If, if I'm the son of the Fourth Hokage, why was I treated like this all these years? Just because I'm a Jinchuuriki, because there is something sealed in me?''

Naruto's mind was chaotic, and the information shocked him. Electricity surfaced throughout his entire body, black marks and holes appeared on the blanket that covered him, ''And what fault has it, to be sealed? I don't understand...''

Such words shocked B deeply, because only he, who has already accepted Gyuki who is sealed within him, knows the heaviness of Naruto's words. Despite having so much hate and angry stares from everyone, he wasn't mistreated like Naruto.

Even so, the young boy accepted the 'monster' sealed within him, with no difficulty, something that took him the entire childhood and teenage years. Even as the calm person he is, anger flashed through his eyes, 'Just what did they do to him, such a pure boy!'

A boy as pure as the clear sky above them was corrupted by Konohagakure, by its villagers. A void was left in Naruto's heart, one that would be extremely hard to fill, and his silence represented it.

Even so, both Ay and B didn't regret at all. The earlier the truth was told to Naruto, the easier it would be for them to fill the huge void left in the boy's heart. At that time, even Naruto himself didn't know...

But the void in his heart had already started to be filled, albeit slowly, by the siblings - His family!

Ay and B suspected that if not because of such a shock of information, Naruto wouldn't have talked at all. However, what took their main attention was the lightning that appeared all around Naruto, 'Could it be... This boy has inherited a unique Kekkei Genkai, one that Uzumaki Kushina and Minato didn't have?'

'If so... Konoha lost a real genius, one that may have inherited Minato's talent and a Kekkei Genkai.' Ay thought while despising Konoha in his heart.

Not wanting the boy to feel uncomfortable, Ay asked as gently as he could, ''Naruto, do you remember that Lightning? Is it possible for you to show me it again, can you?''

Hearing Ay's words, Naruto silently nodded, before closing his eyes. As if an instinct was awakened, he felt the beating of his heart, the blood coursing through his veins. A huge power was hidden deep inside him, but it wasn't something he could control.

Another power, which wasn't hidden, but rather flowed along with the chakra through his meridians. It was a sky-blue power, but Naruto remembered the huge stress it left on his body after using it only once.

Naruto is a very smart boy, and so, he tried to draw the least he could draw, and direct them from his fingers. The power was very gentle in nature, and as if it resonated with the boy, lightning started appearing from the tips of his fingers. It didn't tire him at all.

The burly Ay stared at the lightning with an intense stare, and shock slowly appeared in his eyes. As someone who mastered the usage of Raiton, also known as the Lightning Style, he had a deep knowledge of everything related to Lightning. Even the Kekkei Genkais involving Lightning were mostly known by him.

And what Naruto showed him was different, it wasn't related to Chakra at all, so it couldn't be a Kekkei Genkai or Lightning Style at all! However, it made Ay's eyes shine with hope, but not for himself.

Hope for Naruto's path.

A path that wasn't ever seen before, one that would 'shock' the entire Ninja World!
