2 Chapter 2 - Fourth Raikage

Ay, B, and the dark-skinned man appeared nearby the chakra signature nearly instantly, wasting no time. Lightning crackled all around Ay's body, giving off an intense aura. It's just that the scene when they arrived was slightly peculiar...

When they arrived, all they saw was a blonde boy who seemed to be just about four or so years old. Clearly, whatever powerful shinobi passed by, the only thing left was that small child, but the three of them didn't dare to let their guard down. It could pretty much be a disguised shinobi.

''B, try letting us see his face by using that octopus.'' Ay said while crossing both arms in front of his chest, bowing his head slightly to see the boy. For some reason, he felt that such a unique blond hair was familiar, but couldn't put the pieces together.

Hearing his brother's words, B was about to rap and move the boy's position, but something interrupted him. The boy suddenly moved, and stood up dazedly, not understanding exactly where he was. However, the fatigue and hunger made him almost fall to the ground again, exhausted.

A boy with blond hair, blue eyes like the deep sky and three whiskers on each side of his face stared at the three figures near him. He trembled slightly, were these three coming to beat him like the others?

Fear was evident in his face, but both Ay and B looked at Naruto with shock in their faces, and even looked at each other, ''B, is he who I'm thinking he is? That shouldn't be possible...''

''Yo, brother, yeah, that boy is exactly like him!'' B said while waving his hands in a unique way, but his young face showed extreme seriousness. Ay didn't know why, but he felt inexplicable anger surging within his ehart when he saw the fear in Naruto's face.

How could he not recognize the son of his only rival in this life? Ay knew more than anyone that despite being rivals and of different villages, Minato and him were also true friends. Every time the war stopped temporarily, they would be able to talk as equals, as friends.

The fear on Naruto's face couldn't be more familiar to Ay, that was the very same fear hidden by B when he was a child, the fear when the villagers wanted to do something mean to him! However, nobody dared to do anything to B, because that was his brother!

Ay is a burly man with a tough personality, but his intelligence wasn't low at all. If he wasn't intelligent, he wouldn't become the Raikage at all! It was extremely obvious to him that Naruto was from Konoha, just after seeing him for the first time, and the fear on his face.

Not many people would be able to deduct so much with such a lack of enough information, but Ay was one of the few intelligent enough to do so.

If even he, Ay, didn't know the existence of his friend's son, that meant the villagers of Konohagakure also wouldn't! He didn't think it was a coincidence that both Minato and Kushina died at the same day, but their children survived.

Lightning crackled furiously around him body, and his eyes seemed to be an endless vortex of anger, containing clouds full of thunder, and its sound thundered.

RUMBLE!

Both B and the dark-skinned man were startled, and unconsciously distanced themselves from Ay, whose anger was unstoppable. It's just that his next actions were extremely gentle, and he gently patted Naruto's head, ''Boy, tell me, do you have anything you hold dear in this world?''

Naruto was shocked as the hand touched his head gently, instead of slapping or punching him. His throat trembled involuntarily before answering, ''N-No, I don't have parents, or anyone who like me...''

Ay's anger increased slightly, that damned Konohagakure again!

'They dared to treat the son of Minato like that... Sarutobi Hiruzen! You better not meet me, or I will show no mercy!' Ay thought furiously, before looking towards Naruto once again, as if the anger in his eyes didn't exist, he slowly lifted Naruto's shirt.

A finger lightly tapped on the boy's belly, showing a complex seal, and so he muttered, ''Sure enough... This is a seal that only Minato and Kushina knew, this boy is their son, without any doubt!''

Looking at the boy, Ay's tone was gentle, different from his burly figure, that seemed to be unapproachable, ''Tell me your name.''

''U-Uzumaki... Uzumaki Naruto.'' Naruto said in a slightly trembling tone, calming down after having someone who seemed to care about him, for the first time.

Ay nodded gently, and his behavior shocked both B and the dark-skinned man, they never saw the tough, powerful Fourth Raikage acting like this! However, Ay's next words shocked them even more, ''Tell me, Naruto, do you want to go to my village? I won't let anyone treat you badly, this, I won't allow to happen!''

The boy's mind was utterly chaotic, and he was extremely fatigued. He had just waken up from the past exhaustion, the sudden information shocked him to the core.

Before Naruto could reply, his body gave in once again. After seeing Naruto falling unconscious, Ay's anger was ignited once again, and he instantly caught the boy in his arms, gently holding Naruto. Then, he turned around and said, ''B, Yurui, let's go back...''

''We will be returning to Kumogakure, now.'' Ay said coldly, and his tone gave off no chance for the two of them to refute, but Yurui was obviously reluctant.

And so, Yurui said with a hint of reluctance evident on his eyes, ''But Raikage-sama, what about the operation to capture Hyuuga Hinata on Konohagakure? It's an operation personally commissioned by the elders...''

Ay snorted coldly, before saying, ''If those old bastards complain, let them come in person to me. As for the operation...''

For once, B was silent, and quietly agreed with Ay's next words.

''...Naruto is more important''
