Lumley suddenly halted in front of an ordinary ,old worn out purple coloured scroll.
It looked like a rotten piece of wood ,nothing seemed special about it in the least . Lumley rubbed his chin and said " strange "

Lumley was amazed he had never heard of any martial art scroll that needed soul sense to read it's mental message.
. Back to the vision he was pulled into he saw a warrior with a sword strapped at his back standing on a peak with another warrior standing few metres from him with a wide halberd on his hands.
" Demon Peng you are truly audacious to have followed me down here " the man with a sword at his back suddenly said
The warrior referred to as Demon Peng replied saying " Two tailed sword general is truly worthy of those rumors, for you to have discovered me from the camouflage of my night nemesis"
Demon Peng said has if he admired two tailed sword general " is no easy feat and I also wish to taste the might of your soul beast the two tailed fox "
As if responding to Demon Peng a red fox with blood red eyes and two huge fluffy tails appeared on two tailed sword general's shoulder it raised its paw in an angry manner ,which had extremely sharp red claws towards Demon peng .
Demon peng laughed and a ray of light came out his body and formed a gigantic two feet long crocodile with huge thorns on its back that even extended to its tail ,that shined bright under the rays of the sun .
It had two horns that grew on its forehead it growled wildly at the fox .
" my demonic thorned crocodile is going to have a great meal today " said Demon Peng as he and his crocodile licked their lips in style .
" you are going ..." Demon Peng was cut shut in the middle of his sentence
" keep shut and let's battle or are you only good at talking " said Two tailed sword general
Demon Peng seemed to be infuriated by Two tailed sword generals word as he pounced towards him and thrust his halberd forward .

Darkness fugal force began to revolve round the halberd and thorns like those on the crocodile's back began to grow on the halberd .

He suddenly felt a strong sense of danger as an experienced warrior his instinct couldn't deceive him " why do I feel like am under the gun when he hasn't even pulled out his sword this strange and come to think of it this crazy man isn't as stupid as that to just wait for his death i need to retreat and find out what's wrong "
With this thought in mind Demon Peng began to retreat he had just taken few steps back when Two tailed sword general suddenly took a step forward .
A golden ray of sword light suddenly sliced through Demon Peng's neck ,it was very fast that Demon peng couldn't dodge at all .
Demon Peng had his head projected into air as blood gushed out of his headless body like a fountain .
He had a confused expression on his dead face as he didn't even know what killed him .
Lumley's heart was beating twice than normal the speed of that attack was crazy .
Even after unleashing dragon eye to the fullest Lumley could only see a blur on how Two tailed sword general pulled his sword and performed the evil deed (Lol) and returned the sword back to its sheath .
Any normal warrior who watched the ephemeral battle between Two tailed sword general and Demon Peng would only see Two tailed general take a step forward and in the next instance Demon Peng's head was off his body.
If Two tailed sword general dead or alive knew that Lumley managed to see just a blur of his sword he will be startled as even some rank 8 warrior might not even see anything .
Demon peng died of carelessness as he was already within Two tailed sword generals sword range .
If it was a direct one on one clash Demon Peng might have managed to counterattack .
But a dead man doesn't amend his mistakes again ,being alive is really a blessing .
The two tailed fox devoured the crocodile in one gulp, as immediately Demon Peng got killed the soul beast was affected giving the fox an opportunity to kill it.
But it was still a miracle how the fox devoured the giant crocodile in just one gulp
Warriors in this world had a saving grace if their soul beast died or vice versa they wouldn't die also. But their combat strength will be weakened greatly .
If a rank 8 warrior got his soul beast killed he will be sent back to at least a rank 4 warrior ,with his chance of cultivating back very slim.
Same goes to the soul beast as their combat strength will be greatly weakened.That is why many experts prefer keeping their soul beast in their souls .
The fox jumped back to Two tailed sword's shoulder it seemed to have grown two inches tall after devouring the crocodile .
