1 Chapter 1 Waking up in a new world

It was halfway through Calculus class today when I gave up. I, Kevin Stewart started to drift off and complain to myself about how I would never use any of this stuff I'm trying so hard to learn

Only for a few seconds later

"Mr. Stewart, falling asleep on the middle of class this is the only the second week. Are you aware that teachers are allowed to show "love" to students who slack off here in magic academy High school."

Did he just say magic, wait the teacher was a woman Ms.Schneider looking up I see electricity coming from a middle aged man's finger tips

"Hehehe." classroom

I look around and I see an entirely new classroom I mean the class was always diverse I'm African American myself, but I'm also seeing people with weird eyes with slits in them and everyone is dressed in uniform, even I'm wearing a uniform, and my school doesn't even have a uniform. Obviously they are not human.

This is weird.

Ok I must be dreaming the only thing is that I mastered the ability to control my dreams when I feel like it and even wake myself up

Back when I first mastered this, I repeated my dream about star battles for two weeks straight. So my first question is why am I stabbing myself with this pencil and I feel pain, and I'm not waking up.

Well I've decided not to question this, let's just roll with it since I've always had in interest in fantasy games

"Since we have to go over this again for Mr. Stewart. I'm going to repeat myself, you will continue to study Five chapters of your textbooks

Okay thanks for putting me on the spot teach I don't dare say out loud for fear of this magic stuff

Ok I'm not going into details but I'll give a

brief summary for each chapter

The book of the basics of magic

1.Mana is a energy for magic spells, basic stuff

2. Magic is the result of using Mana to cause a supernatural phenomenon, basic

3. When using most magic except non-attribute and certain spells, you have to memorize the magic circle in order to invoke the spell, when using a new magic it takes "calculation of how to use it" meaning as long as you remember the spell and circle you can instantly use the spell

this one surprised me normally in a video game all you have to do is shout something in all you have to do is shout something in a ancient language that no one understands and then bam you got the result

But the reason why for the magic circle leads me to number four

4. The reason one must remember the circle is because their has to be a medium to "convert" the raw magic energy, wands and staffs are also helpful but not meant for everyone

5. Hundreds of thousands of years ago a dragon God came from a different universe, a traveling Phoenix came from another part of this universe, and somehow gods came to this world and gave it magic turning this world into a magical world

In magic academy high the main core classes other than history were seen as electives, great news for me cause I'm only taking geometry instead of that Calculus junk

After I had finished with those classes I had one more class to attend to practical magic class which is doing the actual spell casting

I was definitely excited because looking back I didn't just show up in an alternate reality wearing the exact clothes of this weird school

I had to be special to just end up in a fantasy world like the books I liked to read, I

went to the main office to talk to the receptionist " Wendy" to request a schedule

and brief summary of each class

I found out that not only was I in a fantasy world within a misfit class that I was also

in summer school.... really I had never gone to summer school no matter how much

I slept guuh I'm sure my mom would kill me, wait do I even have a mom in this world

Do I even look the same, the teacher said my name so their has to be some things

about me that are the same, I go to the bathroom after class to look at myself, on the way I see many people in the halls who had these lizard like features

cell phone, I still look the same but I have no cell phone

Yep, brown skin, brown eyes, chopped and spikey hair at the top with the fade going down to my neck

Overall I had slightly above average looks

My next class was magic Practical that takes 3 hours a day

one hour cultivating, two hours trying to master spells, other than the required spells to learn, apparently what you chose to do with the rest of your time depends on you

Required spells are the basic illusion barrier, body enhancing, and low level healing

I asked my teacher how to cultivate to which he looked at me like an idiot and made me put my hand on a crystal ball

"This ball test your amount of cultivation ." Mr. Lars

I put my hand on it and seen it glowed and the number made the number 100, I felt awesome knowing I could use magic in this world

"Not even average for your age, how old are you ." Mr. Lars

"sixteen . " Kevin

" The average for a human your age is 252, you better work hard to catch up because your future wont have many options with a such a pitiful number. " Mr.Lars

(to prevent from looking like a lunatic I will look into what he said about humans later)

He touched my forehead and a magic circle appeared and shot in the info right into my brain

"What magic does that." I exclaim out loud

"All teachers have to learn that spell knowledge transfer." Mr. Lars

"Well, why do we have to study out of text books!" Kevin

"To prevent you from getting lazy." Mr. Lars

Moving past that to sense and "collect" energy around you, building a Mana pool

The method of sensing was also inside my head now, I sat and cultivated for 3 hours straight
