98 FIRST DAY AT KNA (2)

She fetched her phone and dialed Xue Guangxi's number. 

"Do you like it?" That was his warm greeting. His voice had a hint of a smile in it. "I mean, my surprise."

 "Guangxi…" Her raging heart softened by how much he was looking forward to her positive response. "Yeah… I saw it, thanks… But…"

She wanted to be kind and all, but she's too irked up by the unwanted attention this huge food truck was throwing at her. It's already bad enough that there was a negative bias against her in the workplace because of some misunderstanding relating to her unfounded 'connections' to KNA Broadcasting's management.

She could not afford another rumor in the lines of her trying to buy the favors of her workmates through food and bribes.

"You should retract the food truck, though, Guangxi. I requested Butler Lee to send it to your company instead or to the twins' school. It'll be more useful there."
