As he revved his car to a start, Su Jingjing abruptly spoke, her eyes stared in front of her without really seeing. "Can you really make me forget Guangxi?"

Yang Haoran glanced at her. She did the same movements too. Their eyes met. There was something queer in Su Jingjing's eyes. It had the fires of conviction in it. The man was taken aback by the fierceness.

"You said you can make me forget Guangxi. What does it take to achieve that? I want it so badly."

The man's eyes blazed with the amount of intensity at par with hers. He jeered and inched closer to her. "Then, sleep with me."

Su Jingjing did not flinch from the closeness. Her eyes were burning with desire. Not the desire of the flesh, the one that Yang Haoran was guilty of. Rather, it was the ardent desire to break free from the shackles of the past. It was more for Xue Guangxi than for herself.
