'How can you leave me behind?'

'I'm at Milky Way.' He sent the address. 'Be here soon or I'll get wasted with or without you.'

He heaved a heavy sigh as he sent the last of his messages then he threw his phone on the bar's countertop. "Dang."

"She's not responding. Is she deliberately ignoring me or is she busy with that man? What are they doing? Being cuddly over dinner?"

"We could have gotten dinner together – all three of us!" He muttered his rants under his breath.

He slid out his right arm on the countertop and laid his head on it. Then, with the index finger of his left hand, he drew small circles on the surface.
