Light and L made their was down to the task force, Light was still a bit red from that moment in the shower with L. Light didn't know if he'd be able to act normal. "'Ryuzaki, so glad you could show up" Matsuda smiled. "yea yes, have we got any further information about the Kira investigation?" L placed his thumb to his lip. How could he act so normal after what just happen Light thought to himself, Lights father looked at him "everything okay, Light?" "uh.. Ye-ah"

Chief Yagami looked at Light in confusion, he stepped towards light. "Are you sure?"

Before Light could say anything, "no need to worry, Light was with me last night helping me with the Kira case and he wasn't able to go to sleep, my apologies Light kun.." L started eyeing the strawberry cake infront of him. "mmmm" L licked his lips. "very well, next time Light try to get some sleep, you have plenty of time to investigate during the day.." Light nodded awkwardly. "snap out of it Light, ugh" Light thought to himself, he shook his head.

"Light" L subtly spoke, "yes Ryuzaki?" L turned his chair around all the way till he was facing Light, "I need to talk to you privately-" "why privately!" Matsuda rudely interrupted, "Matsuda, the conversation doesn't concern you." L grabbed Lights hand and dragged him into the kitchen, far enough that they'll be able to talk without whispering. "Light" L looked up into Lights golden eyes, "we need to talk." "Ryuzaki.." "I need to know what you want to do about us, you and me.." L shyly said "to be honest Ryuzaki, I don't know right now. Don't get me wrong, I like you a lot but with the kira case and my dad.. we shouldn't say anything." "I thought you'd say that, I guess for now.. all we can do is play it safe and not take risky chances." L groaned, "I guess that's the best... But just for now!"

L smiled and leaned in closer to Light.. "RYUZAKI!" Matsuda yelled. L sighed "yes Matsuda.." "we have information leading to the kira case! quickly..!" "I'll be there in a minute." L implied. L looked at light and firmly help his hand, "we should go now" L groaned. Light swung his head down, "yeah probably." L let go off Lights hand and walked off, something about Light wasn't right. Light had clearly fallen for L, Light could never let L find the Death Note.. and he could never kill L. "DAMN IT!" Light punched the counter top. he sighed and went to check out what the others were doing.
