34 Hidden Scheme

Being one of three major families, Sacred Family held massive amount of wealth and power.

The known black-gold rank of the Sacred Family alone numbering three people. They still hidden most of their power under shadow, plotting to take the Snow Wind Family's role as the strongest family of Glory City.

But, even with numerous amount of hidden experts, they still couldn't shake the big tree of Snow Wind Family.

The reason was because they lacked Legend Ranked Demon Spiritualist!

Snow Wind Family stood strong for many years mainly because of their strong legacy. It isn't something that Sacred Family could compare.

Nurturing a Legend Rank Demon Spiritualist wasn't an easy feat.

The sacrifice of uncountable amount of elixirs and people were astonishing.

But, Sacred Family saw a hope because of the appearance of Dark Guild.

The might of Dark Guild was really terrifying. Even Glory City would be instantly razed right now if all their experts came.

That was why Sacred Family felt fortunate because the Dark Guild chose them. (Idk, Sacred Family's founding father was member of dark guild or not. Anyway, this is a fanfic hahaha.)

The once commoner family now turned into a behemoth, calling wind and storm with a mere words!

*Sacred Family Courtyard*

This is one of the most luxurious compound inside the Glory City. The total area of this compound is 20 square kilometers.

The ancient china style courtyard with a huge platform in the middle of it. The house mainly made with strong woods called "Adamantine Scarlet Tree", which cost a fortune.

The decorations were coated with pure gold, drapped with purple linen all over making one felt an majestic aura. Especially, the golden dragon wood that was carved with utmost detail giving an imposing aura.

Shen Hong, the original patriarch was doing closed door training because he just got a batch of miracle elixirs from the Dark Guild. The purpose of this training was to breakthrough the 5 star Black Gold Rank Demon Spiritualist!

If this training succeed, then they were one step closer to Sacred Family's grand scheme!

So, for this period of time, all the important decisions were personally handled by Shen Ming because Shen Hong trust his capability the most.

This time, at the main hall, Shen Ming as the acting patriarch was sitting at the patriarch's seat while looking through documents.

Suddenly,

"PATRIARCH! PATRIARCH!" A male servant came and shouted loudly. His expression was full of panic.

"Don't you know that its rude to make a ruckus inside this hall?" Shen Ming raised his head and responded with chilly voice, "Speak. If it's not important, then-" Shen Ming stopped spoking but stare the servant with killing intent.

"This servant doesn't dare! Patriarch!" The male servant kneeled and banged his head at the wooden floor. He repeatedly called Shen Ming as Patriarch because he knew it will please Shen Ming.

Shen Ming nodded while feeling pleased with himself. Sooner or later, this seat will be his! So, why don't he called himself patriarch sooner. Then, the servant continued, "Its about the Star Restaurant and the newly emerging 'Shangri-La'!"

Star Restaurant was the name of chain restaurant business owned by Sacred Family. This business was particularly important because the hidden force of Dark Guild camouflaged as workers of this restaurant.

Thus, the moment Shen Ming heard 'Star Restaurant', he instantly reacted "What happened?"

If anything goes wrong with Star Restaurant, he afraid he has to forfeit his life as an apology.

"The 'Shangri-La' restaurant become booming and quickly raised as the most crowded restaurant in Glory City." The servant tremblingly explain.

"What are you trying to say?" Shen Ming puzzledly asked. He came when 'Shangri-La' did a soft opening. The food was really amazing, even better than his own family. Honestly, they deserved to be the best restaurant right now in the Glory City, so it was no wonder that they raise with an unstoppable momentum. But, it didn't matter because the Star Restaurant main purpose was not money.

"The card member introduced by them quickly sold to every big family! It became a symbol of status. So, eventhough their food's price is higher than us, all of the big family chose them to show off their privilege by eating there!" The servant said.

*BANG*

Shen Ming smashed the table in front of him. The table was easily shattered to dust because Shen Ming's leaked energy. Right now, his face looked really gloomy and dark. (No offense!)

 "WHO IS BEHIND THAT GODD*MN RESTAURANT?" Shen Ming screamed at the servant.

Honestly, what makes him furious was because the lost of big customers.

Restaurant is the best places to gather information. The practice of drinking and eating together made everyone let down their guard and frequently spilled some important news.

As such, the whole Star Restaurant filled with espionage items.

The impact of losing such customers could be imagined. 

This was all under Ye Xinghan's calculation. Because robbing Star Restaurant customers was akin to ripping off Sacred Family and Dark Guild's wing.

"Its the Winged Dragon Family!" The servant kneeled again.

"Winged Dragon, huh? What a coincidence!" Shen Ming sneered because the Sacred Family had some plans for them. But, with this event, everything could be brought forward!

"An ant dares to jump in front of me! We need to make them know their own place!" Shen Ming took a deep breath and said calmly. He asked, "I heard Xiao Yunhai is currently outside Glory City?" 

"Yes, Xiao Yunhai and his first son Xiao Yunfeng currently doing a joint adventure to ancient ruins with one of Snow Wind Family's Elder." 

Shen Ming pondered for a bit before giving an order,

"Alright, wait for him to comeback. After that, let's invite Xiao Yunhai to another trip."

"And let the Dark Guild kill him!"
