"W-What?? Xia Shishu's Team??" Li Xieye's boyfriend was dumbfounded.

Xia Shishu virguiously nodded.

Li Xieye's boyfriend slapped Xia Shishu's hand. With an angry face, he yelled at him, "Xai Shishu! I invited you out of kindness and you still want to play a joke?! Are you going to join or not??? You'll be left out in Second Reality! I'm just being nice!"

Xia Shishu crossed his arms. Only an idiot would join a mad ex-girlfriend's group right? He doesn't need a group for now!

"Forget it Luo Meng. I don't want to join a team. I haven't even started yet."

Yes, Li Xieye's boyfriend is Luo Meng.

Luo Meng's brows tightened. "Xia Shishu, if that's all then you should join! The highest level person in Second Reality is level 9! Most of the players just started a few days ago! Come, join us when you get on today!"

Looking suspiciously at Luo Meng, Xia Shishu felt that he was up to something. 'Why does he want to invite me so much? If this bastard isn't up to something then… no, he is definitely up to something.'

"Luo Meng it's okay, leave me alone I need to study."

Xia Shishu has a trick. Every time he wants to stop a conversation, he would always use 'studying' as an excuse. If they won't let him leave then he'll just shout out, 'Ahh how dare you stop me from my studies. Don't you know that you're stopping me from my future?!' or something like that.

After hearing Xia Shishu, a spark of resentment grew from inside of him. But he was determined to get Li Xieye's 'reward' for humiliating Xia Shishu. Seeing that Xia Shishu brushed him off and went to his seat near the window, Luo meng walked back towards Li Xieye. He planned to humiliate Xia Shishu on a later date.

Sitting at his seat, Xia Shishu took out his textbook and checked over the lessons that should've been taught yesterday. In school, most of the lessons are derived from textbooks. This means that if you can memorize and comprehend the books, your exams would be fine.

As Xia Shishu reviews, time passes and more classmates entered the classroom.

His classroom has a total of 28 students. Having pairs of desks next to each other in rows. The seats in the classroom is in male and female pairs under the Instructor's arrangement.

Some of the boys and class would calculate if their deskmate would be that girl wearing the white dress in the future. Being close to a girl all year round gives them a chance of wooing their deskmate so most boys were happy. Others were not happy because the girl or boy would not be to their liking.

When the instructor paired up the students, Xia Shishu was lucky to have a pretty girl as his desk mate. Xia Shishu thought, 'Screw this weird ex-girlfriend! This lady is pretty. Maybe this immortal would gain her favor!'

Too bad though. On the very first day, she made her intentions known. She took out her pencil and drew a line across their desk, making a forbidden barrier between Xia Shishu and herself. She told him that he isn't allowed to pass the line!

Every time Xia Shishu passed the line a little, she would hit him with a pencil. When Xia Shishu tried to strike up an unimportant conversation, she would try to end it right away.

Xia Shishu eventually stopped bothering her and mind his own business. Other people would try to talk to her too, but the result was the same. She just gave them the cold shoulder.

"Move."

Ji Anyi's voice sounded beside him. Xia Shishu looked up and saw a black haired girl with delicate features and bangs covering her forehead. He was blocking the entrance to her seat because he sat right next to her while her desk is right next to the window.

Every morning, Ji Anyi would arrive before him so he didn't need to be told to move. She emotionlessly says it to him here and there at times during school so it isn't like he hasn't experienced it before.

He just simply got off his seat and let her through.

Shortly after, the instructor came into the classroom and everybody did their daily routine.

The instructor isn't some kind of beauty or handsome man. He's just your everyday average instructor. Plain o' Instructor, normal in every aspect.

When the lessons began, Xia Shishu took condensed notes.

With wide eyes, a smile appeared on his face. EXP! It's EXP! If he can level up in real life then he wouldn't need to worry about living like a normal man anymore! MAHAHAHA!

Xia Shishu doesn't even care if his notes would be useful to him, he just kept writing!

When it was break time, Xia Shishu just kept on writing. When the lessons ended, Xia Shishu took out his textbook and kept on writing!

There was a person that wasn't happy though. It was Ji Anyi!

This classmate of hers wouldn't leave his seat! He just kept on writing and writing! Does he want her to die of hunger? She needed to go get some food from the cafeteria!

She glared at her, hoping that he would realize that she wants him to get up! But he ignored her and kept on writing!

Maybe it's his idea of getting her attention! Maybe he wanted her to talk to him!

'Fine! Let's see how long you can keep this charade up! Let's see how long you're willing to starve yourself!' Ji Anyi said to herself.

While irritated at Xia Shishu for not getting off his seat like usual, she took out her device to look at information on the web about Second Reality.

She found it really interesting and she got her gaming device on the second day after it's official release. She wants to keep up on the updates of Second Reality because she plays it too…

Since her family isn't well off, she could also earn extra money by playing Second Reality in her sleep.

DAmmit! This boy didn't move at all! He wasted their break time and all he did was write write write!

ARGHH Ji Anyi screamed internally. 'I'm going to smack his hand so he'll stop writing!" She planned.

As she was about to smack his writing hand with her pencil, she saw Xia Shishu's violet bracelet. It was the access device for Second Reality!
