CHAPTER TWO: New Guy

We both went out and saw an unfamiliar boy sitting beside the door listening to music, he was smiling and his eyes were closed. It was as if he was listening to a piece of very relaxing music. I sat with him and so did my Uncle. The boy turned his head, opened his eyes, and looked at me, I looked back at him and said: "Hi, are you new?" "Yea,". He answered coldly and I didn't bother to talk with him. I thought he's gonna be like Drake when...

After that, I left and went to see MJ and Harry, to my surprise, they looked like they were having some sort of connection.

"Something's fishy," I said quietly while gazing and walking towards them.

Harry turns to me and greeted me. It looked like he did something bad cause he was nervous, even MJ. I knew something was up.

MJ rashly ran and shouted: "I'm gonna buy us drinks, wait for me!"

It was so obvious and I talked to Harry about it.

"Hey, you like MJ, don't you?" I asked.

"What?! n-no," he said anxiously.

I told him that it's okay to like her as long as he will take good care of her, he promised to protect her no matter what so, I agreed for him to date her. I wasn't getting in their way of being together, I was worried that MJ's gonna get hurt... Like me.

He rushed to help MJ and to tell her to be his girlfriend, while I went for a walk. I was at the hallway and heard footsteps behind me, I thought it was Drake and his clan, but it turned out to be that guy, the guy sitting by the principal's office smiling and extremely handso- Oops, why did I say that. Back to what I was saying. Yep, that guy. He walked and whispered: "They're here," I didn't understand at first but then I heard more footsteps and turned out to be Drake and his boys. I couldn't run, because my shoe was broken then I saw them walking fast towards me and thought I was dead meat but then warm hands held mine and dragged me out of the hallways leaving one of my shoes behind. It happened to fast, I turned to see who was dragging me. It was that guy again, he hid me in a classroom and I fainted. The last thing I saw was a faded silhouette beating up the clan and Drake and then it went black. I didn't even know who won.

I opened my eyes and saw a clean room and MJ tapping me lightly.

"MJ?" I said in a weakening voice.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Drake and his clan almost attacked me and cold guy saved me,"

. "Seriously? That's how you call your savior?" that guy said.

I got shocked he was in this room and said: "Oh shit, damn, you scared me!"

"Tsk, look in the mirror, you'll be more scared," he said sarcastically.

"Not helping Justine," MJ said.

"Oh, so your name is Justine," I said to my thoughts.

Harry knocked at the door and brought two flowers, gave one to me and the other one to his girlfriend, MJ.

I got out of that extremely tidy room and went for a walk outside with MJ and Harry and found Justine sitting at a nearby bench then I had this familiar feeling when he sat by the principal's office when he listened to music and felt so relaxed that even I felt relaxed watching him closing his eyes while smiling. MJ tapped me while I was stunned looking at Justine. MJ looked at me and caught me looking at Justine.

"Well, someone has a new crush," MJ said loudly that Justine heard.

I ran as fast as I can and then bumped to Drake.

"You have a new crush now, ey?" he asked.

"Oh, shut up Drake,"

Storytime, I actually had a relationship with Drake in the past few years, we were actually friends, neighbors and had different schools then we got closer and started dating but when I transferred to his school he noticed I was too down lately so he walked towards me and tried to console me and that's when it all changed, girls in school bullied me and now, even Drake changed his mind, he then became a fighter and was really popular in school. Day by day, he hated me more and more as much as I hate him. He became a bully and a gang leader.

"So, who is it?" Drake asked.

I couldn't really talk cause I was stunned he asked. Then, I heard footsteps come closer but I didn't turn around, instead, I gazed fiercely at Drake then suddenly, the guy behind me spoke.

"It was me," he said.

I was familiar with the voice and that's when I knew it was him, it was Justine.

"What?Anyone Eve, but him?" he said in rage.

I don't know why he is mad and I don't freakin' care.

"Why did you choose this guy? Because he defeated me?" Drake asked shamelessly.

"Drake, I already defeated you in the "Combat Circle" and at the rooftop, what else should I want from you?"I said fearlessly.

"Want another fight?" Drake asked her.

I was injured from the last fight and I knew I couldn't fight for the time being.

"Sure,"

Wait, that wasn't me, it was... Justine?

"Oh yeah? Bring it on Justine," Drake said.

They fought and I prayed for Justine not to get hurt, then when I opened my eyes, Drake was already down.

"You done praying?" Justine said.

I was speechless then, Drake called his gang.

"Let's see how you can handle my boys," Drake said happily.

"Judging from the number of people fighting us, we need to... RUN!" Justine shouted.

Justine held my hand and ran to the hallways and we hid inside the computer lab.

The boys passed by them then Eve catches her breath, she breathed heavily and Justine knew something was wrong.

"I-inhale-ler, Inhaler," she said suffocating.

"Where?" Justine said anxiously.

"P-pocket," she said.

Justine grabbed inside her pocket and reached for the inhaler and gave it to her, after calming down, Eve told him that she has asthma often when she runs fast but she didn't know the reason why she didn't suffocate at first when he saved her from Drake at the hallways.

Eve while waiting for the boys to pass by she used the computer and searched things about her dad but only one thing showed up,
