2 Seven Sects, Five Clans and the Empire

"Divine Physician, Li Shi Zhen!"

Li Shi Zhen is one of the four Divine Physicians of Ancient China and was known to be able to bring back even the dead. Of course, it's impossible to bring back the dead, but it goes to show how powerful his medical skills are. As long as they have a single breath left in them, he can resurrect them.

Other Divine Physicians such as Hua Tuo, the first surgeon, Bian Que, whose eyes could pierce everything, and Sun Simiao, who could extend your lifespan, was indeed at the same level as him but they weren't as useful to Jiang Nan right now.

Li Shi Zhen is this old man with wrinkled skin and brows and has long white hair and a flowing beard that is tied into one of those ponytails. He also has this balding spot on his forehead. Now, he uses some of his healing powers to resurrect Jiang Nan... No, that's just what would happen in novels.

Now, what happens is that Li Shi Zhen first analyses the stab wound. It misses the heart and had hit a rib before swerving away from it. Also, he uses some bandages he has on hand to bind and staunch the blood flow, applying pressure until the bleeding stops.

The stab wound was caused by a knife, so there isn't debris or remnants in the body, but he uses some saline to clean the area around the wound. There aren't any punctured organs, so he begins to sew it up before bandaging the chest tightly. Although the person sort of looks like Mulan as she pretends to be a guy, at least it's better than being dead.

Now, I almost forgot, but we have to see how our MC's new body looks like. He seems young, and a bit boyish, but not too handsome either. All in all, your typical adorable young kid who grows up to be an average-looking person.

Now that our MC is finally healed, the old man has disappeared back into the spiritual world, and Jiang Nan can open his eyes without getting shocked to death.

So now, Jiang Nan shall embark upon the journey of face-slapping... no, to reach the apex of Saga!

That would've been the perfect line to end the chapter off, but I've realised that readers will probably kill me if I ended it off at ~400 words.

Now, allow me, the all-knowing, all-encompassing, omniscient, omnipotent author to tell you about the geographical and political and economic and social scene of Saga.

The World of Saga mostly refers to this giant mass, known as the mainland, which takes up about 1/8 of the world. Its proportion is similar to the combined area of Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa to the Earth's oceans.

The Blade Empire is run by the four Archdukedoms -- the Saber Archduke, the Sword Archduke, the Spear Archduke and the Shield Archduke. These four Archdukedoms take turns ruling the country, and there is a fixed pattern. No matter what, the ancestral rules state that they cannot overthrow the Archduke-in-charge. So every ten years the Emperor changes.

The Empire rules about one-third of the mainland and has seven Provinces. The Eastern Isle Province, Ash Archipelago Province and the Quetzcoala Lake Province of the East, the Red Sands Province and the Border Mountains Province of the South, the Mesa Plateau and Western Temple Province of the West, as well as the Regent Capital which is in the middle. The North, known as the Northlands, is not only surrounded by a harsh mountain range but has little lands because of the many fjords there.

The Empire, however, isn't almighty. There are five great clans, of which any three combined is at the same level as the Empire. Thankfully, they have all sorts of rivalries and complex politics which set them against each other. Some of them might have been caused by the Empire.

There are also seven powerful sects, which despite not having much numerical strength, have many powerful experts. Although these experts cannot contend against an army, they can still wreak havoc on individuals. The Seven Sects, Five Clans and the Empire all have extensive heritages to allow them to know the names and locations of thousands of Heroes.

However, even so, while in the olden days even outer sect disciples and small sergeants could have their own Heroes, now even commanders and inner sect disciples might not have a Hero. That is how bad the situation has deteriorated since now.

Of course, Jiang Nan doesn't know anything, because they are at the Red Sands Province, of which is one of the furthest away from the Regent Capital. Even their small clan was wiped out by another slightly bigger lizard... I mean, clan, which is but one finger's worth compared to one of the seven sects.

Right, now that I've been going on and on, I'm going to tell you the names of the seven sects and five clans before chasing after Jiang Nan, who seems to be absent-mindedly heading into the desert.

The Seven Sects have the Four Seasons Sect Alliance, which are the Spring Rain Sect, Summer Sun Sect, Winter Snow Sect, Autumn Leaf Sect as well as the Cosmic Triumvirate, which are the Great Sun Sect, the Great Moon Sect and the Twelve Stars Sect.

The Spring Rain Sect is a Sword Sect which focuses on speed and power. The Summer Sun Sect is a Saber Sect which focuses on intensity and strength. The Winter Snow Sect is a Shield Sect which focuses on stability and stamina. The Autumn Leaf Sect is a Spear Sect which focuses on unpredictability and combat strategies.

The Great Sun Sect is a Sect which focuses on Fire, Light and Thunder Arts, whilst the Great Moon Sect focuses on Water, Darkness and Wind Arts. The Twelve Stars Sect have twelve different arts, one from each of their founding ancestors; which are the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Seahorse, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. The Cosmic Triumvirate and the Four Seasons Alliance are equivalent in power.

The Five Clans are the Shan Clan of Earth, Bing Clan of Water, Tian Clan of Wind, Yan Clan of Fire and the Mu Clan of Wood. Each of them is the same as the other, like the five elements: equal to each other, restraining and empowering each other at the same time.

Oh, I better sent your drone after Jiang Nan before I lose him. The Red Sands is an enormous, desolate desert full of mirages and oases, so it's rather easy to lose people inside.

I didn't put this info dump here because I couldn't think of anything else to write. Not at all.
