A Summary of the War before the Story(Prologue)

28 July 2025 was the start of the biggest war mankind had ever witnessed.

The World War X a war to showcase power among countries as countless innocent commoners and soldiers lost there lives on the battlefield.

It was a very tough time where no one was safe as bombs could be rained from the sky like water droplets ignoring all innocent women and children's, wiping cities had become a game to showing supremacy over a nation.

On 10th of May, 2037, France was attacked by Germany without a warning, German soldiers flooded the battlefield as tanks kept approaching the outpost with France soldiers inside the bunker, five people sitting around a round table all of them had solemn expressions as they were already outnumbered and looked at each other thinking that someone would come up with a plan to counter the situation.

As the five people kept staring at each other face a new recruit comes in the bunker yelling "general Aran, Jake started a fight with Luke again" Jake was a new recruit from the fourth Batallion of special forces, 32 years old with red hair and had no parents, taken in by general Luther a retired army general who had lost both his arms while saving his fellow men.

Aran: what is going on? stop this ruckus at once?

Jake: yaah...! don't talk shit about my father.

Luke: oh yeah! what's stopping me from doing that.

Jake punches luke in his face and Luke starts bleeding and at the same time General Aran comes to the scene while making his way through the crowd of soldiers watching the fight, seeing Luke bleeding from his nose and mouth, He assumes that Jake assaulted Luke and takes out the whip tucked on his belt and starts whipping them.

Aran: stop you, idiots, there's an entire war out there and you guys are fighting like kids, DISMISS! and Jake, I need you in my office right now.

Jake: yes Sir!

Luke look towards Jake and spits on the ground laughing and Jake all beaten up started marching towards General Aran's office as he looks around there was no one around him who wanted to talk to him because he wasn't a son of a noble family but was adopted by a noble.

Jake opens the door of the office of General Aran build underground as there was no place safe enough to bring up battalions to fight in the war.

Aran: What's the matter, Jake? Why do you keep involving yourself with these fights?

Jake: He was slandering my dad.

Aran: I know how you feel but don't let anger get to your head, your dad was a really great guy and a close friend of mine so don't let him down.

Jake: If there is nothing else I may take my leave.

Jake leaves the room as Aran tries to hide his tear looking towards a photo of him and Jake's father General Luther from when they were just soldier.

<<Honk!Honk!Honk!>> sound of emergency alarm starts ringing leaving everybody in the base scared and nervous as everybody knew that this was the signal meaning its time to kill or be killed.

General Aran comes out of his cabin taking a microphone in his hand and starts a speech to motivate the soldier "My fellow soldier here we will stand and fight, If we can't stay here alive, then let us stay here dead The issue is one of life or death for us, for the peoples of France. The issue is whether the peoples of France shall remain free or fall into slavery . . . There must be no room in our ranks for whimperers and cowards, for panic-mongers and deserters. Our people must know no fear in the fight and must selflessly join our patriotic war of liberation, our war against the enslavers."

All soldier salutes the General with excitement and a fire in their eyes, a fire signifying to destroy their enemy and return back but deep down they all knew this would be their last battle.

Soldiers depart from the base through underground tunnels to get the enemy battalion by surprise, there was a huge forest between there last line of defence and the battlefield.

France had already lost on the main battlefield and according to the laws of battle the german soldiers should have retreated after that but they kept on pushing with a thought to subjugate Frances territories in mind.

The forest was there last chance to save their territory from being captured by the Germans. This battle will decide the fate of two countries and millions of people living in them.
