1 Chapter 1 | Death |

Janel was five years old when her parents got into a motor accident and both of them died on the spot. Mr & Mrs. Boldwell adopt Janel after hearing about her story because no one to take care of her.

Mr. & Mrs. Boldwell was happy that after they adopted Janel since there can't have a child of their own, they both love Janel and provide her anything she wants and Janel loves watching movies so much, especially when she is in bad mood.

The movie is the only thing that can cheer her up and Mrs. Boldwell always get her movies disc anytime she went out until one fateful day Mr. Boldwell was sitting in the living room reading a new paper. 

While his wife came in, she pecks him and asked maybe it okay if she discusses something with him? Mr. Boldwell said why not and asked her to sit beside him. Mrs. Boldwell told her husband that Janel will be 15years in the next two months so their need to throw a big birthday surprise party for her.

Mr. Boldwell agreed and they start the secret preparation, normally every blessed day in the morning once Mr. Boldwell is out of bed he will go on a road walk, and before he came back his wife will have prepared breakfast and get dressed for work while Janel will get dressed for school.

      And once Mr. Boldwell comes back he will take his bath and head to office after dropping Janel and his wife off at their places, Mr. Boldwell was an engineer at Lovethpower's company whilst he's wife was a teacher at Allinone nursery and primary school, Janel attends the school.

Mrs. Boldwell has told Janel's friends at school about her surprise birthday party. A day before Janel's birthday, Mr. Boldwell told his wife to make sure she delay Janel at school so that all her birthday surprise will be ready before she arrives.

Mrs. Boldwell agreed and the next day Janel get up from the bed and expect a birthday wish from her parents but nothing like that, and when she goes to the living room her mom & dad are ready for work both of them just peck her then said happy birthday without showing any form of passion for it.

         Janel was not happy with the way her parents wished her and Mrs. Boldwell told her to meet up at school because she can't wait for her. Janel said in her mind that "Seriously?" When both parents left, she went to the bathroom.

Take her bath, tie a white towel around her chest and also wrap a white towel on her head, she stands before the mirror and said to herself that "Happy Birthday Janel" then smile

Janel gets dressed up in school uniform and head to school.

After closing hour two of her friends, Jim and Jackey rushed to Janel's seat then told her not to go home yet because Jim lost his wristwatch, and they want Janel to come with them and look for it. 

Janel said her mother might get angry with her if she gets home late but Jackey said she has already taken permission from Mrs. Boldwell, Janel said no problem and asked to let go look for Jim wristwatch.

Mrs. Boldwell went to her husband's company so that both of them can go home together and prepare Janel surprised party since she is still with her friends, on their way home they had a fatal accident which claims their lives.

Jane's phone was ringing, she kept it in her school bag and left the bag on Jackey's school bus, the three of them were searching for all the classes Jim and Jackey were only delaying Janel because of her mother's instructions to them. 

Jackey phone rang and when she picked it up someone told her that Janel parents die, Jackey screamed and asked Jim and Janel to let go even though the two were asking her what is going on but she refused to talk, Jackey asked her driver to drive them to the clinic immediately.

When they got there Janel asked what are their doing here? Jackey said she is sorry but her parent's corpse is in this clinic, Janel heartbeat stop for some seconds while her eyes were narrowed and she looked straight into Jackey's eyes then asked her what is going on here? 

Jackey asked one of the nurses about Mr. and Mrs. Boldwell and the nurse took the three of them to where the couple corpse is. Janel screamed, cried bitterly then ran out of the clinic. 

Jim and Jackey followed her but couldn't see where she takes it was around 6 pm. Jim and Jackey were worried and they report to the police but the police said Janel can't be declared missing yet because it is not up to 24hours.

Jim and Jackey were scared that Janel might do something stupid to herself since she has nobody again. While Janel was sitting inside her classroom crying and she remembers when she was about to clock 5years, how her parents promised her a lot of toys. 

But on her way back home her nanny received a call that both parents died in a motor accident. Because of this Janel blocked her heart and have the thought that she is nothing but a bad luck child.

One of the school authorities was checking all the classrooms maybe it was locked and when he got to Janel's classroom he discovered that the door was opened and he on the torchlight he was holding to check maybe there is anybody inside.

Because it late already, Janel hide under someone's locker so the authority did not see her and when he left after locking the door Janel opened the classroom window from inside and sneak out and heads home when she got home.

She went to her parent's room directly, she cried so much and slept off, the next day Jim and Jackey drop by the house to see Janel but, the house as if nobody is in there. Janel heard the voice of Jim and Jackey but she refused to see them. 

And after they left she makes sure everywhere is locked so that people will think nobody is inside the house, Janel began to search the entire house looking for something to keep her busy and cheer her up when she saw her mother shopping bag she search inside and saw a lot of new movies.
