1-3 Months Old

I was hyperventilating. It was definitely a panic attack. It was gonna be fine... nevermind. I give up. I felt it, the anger was rising a degree that this nice missy cannot withstand. At this point, I was going to shove down this snack down the throat of a 3-month-old baby. A *ding* interrupted my mulling. With a burst of thought, 'Punching Bag Delivery!' was all thought as I excitedly ran away. I NEEDED to get things set up.

Anyway, besides these bursts of anger at feeding times with the babies, I could say life wa-... fine. It was fine for the first few weeks because the babies were 1. Not Fussy(only when hungry), 2. Always Sleeping, and 3. Dependent Newborns. There were hospital visits for help with the babes but the knowledge was mainly found on the web. A quick guide later that followed the development of newborns and infants, I knew they wouldn't be more active till they reached the months of 1 through 3 and later on.

They were all in my sights and the triplets all woke up during different times of the day so I had periods where I went to sleep and went to do some odd jobs online with online degree searching going well. I had more time on my schedule than I ever thought I would.

A routine that was perfectly tailored made me too dependent on it. Dependency has revealed that I have come to forget one important factor- Between 1-3 months of age, babies begin the transformation from being a totally dependent newborn to becoming an active and responsive infant. !WARNING! This will not suffice in this life. In the end, the boys were clean and I was not. I smelt like milk, throwup, food, and 3 days of not washing. Hair was full of unidentified things and my clothes... *sigh* don't even ask.

My tired-dark-circled eyes stared at the babies cooing-smiling at my familiar face. I need a bath and a good nights sleep for once is all I can say. I go to pick up the cribs when a familiar ring penetrates the small vowels of the babes. My eyes lock-in determination, the battle begins. With milk down, getting the babies to sleep, and a shower, I was fresher than the air in my house. Welp, time to go to sleep.
