58 Chapter 58: Danzo’s Fall

Upon watching from a distance as Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto were the last students inside the classroom, Soren noticed as Naruto began to get impatient, and got up from his seat, before setting up a prank that Soren had seen before, as Naruto got up onto a chair and placed the eraser in between the door's threshold, before he went back to his seat to wait. Not even 10 minutes later, Kakashi opened the door and poked his head inside just in time for the eraser to fall directly on top of his head, as Naruto couldn't help but hold in his laughter, as Kakashi looked down at the fallen eraser before stepping into the room completely and giving his first assessment of his future team.

[My first impression says that you all are a bunch of idiots]: kakashi

Soren couldn't help but laugh as he watched Kakashi say that with a straight face, as he went back to reading his porn novel. Soren had told Kakashi in advance about Naruto's personality, and Minato even told Kakashi not to go easy on Naruto, meaning that Naruto was exempt from using the "Hokage's son" excuse to blow off training. Soren then watched as Kakashi brought the team up to the roof for introductions, as he noticed that each step the kids took sounded heavy beyond belief as they walked up the stairs like normal.

'What the hell is up with their steps?': kakashi

Soren left out the knowledge that all three of his students have around 181 kgs worth of weight on their bodies, so he could be shocked when they finally take off the weights.

[Alright… Let's start off with introductions… Blonde, you go first… Tell us your name, what you like, what you dislike, and what your future goals and dreams are]: kakashi

Kakashi already knew Naruto's name, hell, he even knew Sasuke's name, but Sakura was just a normal civilian, whose name was written down on a piece of paper as for what team she's joining, and Kakashi wanted to hear about their dreams and aspirations.

[Umm… Sensei… Shouldn't you lead by example and tell us about yourself, first?]: naruto

[*Sigh*... Fine… My name is Kakashi Hatake, I like a lot of things, I also dislike a lot of things… As for my dreams… I don't really feel like telling you those things]: kakashi

[... Alright!... My full name is Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki… I'm the son of the Fourth Hokage!... I like Cupped Ramen, and I really like the Ramen from Old man Teuchi's shop!... I also like collecting different flavors of ramen, and have a few rare ones that they don't make anymore… As for my dislikes… I dislike the people who want to harm me and my friends, and I dislike the man who killed my friends entire family… As for my goals, I'm gonna be the Fifth Hokage, believe it!... I'm gonna show my dad who's the strongest, and take over his position]: naruto

[Okay, okay… You just don't stop talking, do you… Alright… Next up is pinky]: kakashi

Kakashi cut Naruto off, as he could tell that Sasuke had begun to grow distant after hearing about the past, and to deflect some of that distant feeling, he passed the stage off to Sakura.

[Mmmh… Okay… My name's Sakura Haruno… My mother is a member of the civilian counsel… I like… Hehehe… My goals are… Eeek!!]: sakura

[And your dislikes?]: kakashi

[Naruto!!!!]: sakura

When Naruto heard this, he felt hurt as he tried to get through to Sakura.

[Come on Sakura!!!... Why won't you give me a chance!!!]: naruto

[Eww!!... Get away from me you weirdo!... My heart goes out for Sasuke!]: sakura

Naruto was once again shot down, leaving Sasuke last in the introductions.

[Alright… And for you, Mr. Gloom and Doom?... What's your name?]: kakashi

[My name's Sasuke Uchiha… The last surviving member of the Uchiha clan… I don't really like anything, besides for my one and only friend, that's been there for me every step of the way… I dislike everything else in this world… And this isn't a dream, but a goal that will come… I'm going to kill a certain someone, for killing my family]: sasuke

[Jeez.. So dark… Well that's it for introductions… Meet me at training ground 3, tomorrow at 7 AM… Also, don't eat anything if you don't want to throw it up later… Cya!]: kakashi

Soren laughed off in the distance after hearing Kakashi's spooking words, and decided to let the plot play out, as he had one more thing to do before leaving this world for a while. Soren then went to the Hokage's office and told him that he would be gone for some amount of years, and when Minato heard this, he was a bit upset, as he hoped that Soren would be around to teach his 6 year old daughter who would be enrolling into the academy next week.

[So how long do you plan on being gone?]: minato

[I don't know… Maybe 10 years, or even 20… But I'll be back… There's something that needs to be taken care of… Also… Watch your back Minato… I feel Danzo is planning something nasty, and I'd rather not have to come back early so I could be there for your funeral… If you heed my advice, eliminate Danzo, or remove him from the counsel]: soren

[But Soren… You know I can't do that without proof… Even if I trust you, I can't just use your word against the counsel… But if you can bring me proof, then that's a different story]: minato

[So proof is all you want?... Then before I leave, I'll bring you all the proof you need, and then I'll kill that bastard myself]: soren

Soren then left the room, as he felt quite a few presences begin following him, and could tell it was some ROOT agents that Danzo put in place to watch over Minato, and when Soren was in a spot where he was all alone, 10 ROOT agents appeared behind him, cutting off his exit, as one of them spoke.

[You're trapped here with us… Come peacefully and silently, and you won't need to die here]: root agent

Soren had a smile appear on his face as his body began twitching slightly, as the sound of laughter was soon heard, and following it was the voice of what one would consider was the devil's voice.

[Hehehehe… Ahahahaha… That's funny… You said that I was trapped here with YOU… But in fact, it is YOU who is trapped here with ME… You can die now… But don't fret, as Danzo will be following soon after]: soren

When Soren finished speaking, he seemed to disappear from the sight of the Root Agents, and soon the sound of a panicking Root Agent was heard.

[R-Run!!!!... He's gonna kill us all!!!!]: root agent

They all tried to run for the exit, but it was too late, as the second Soren raised his hand, all the agents were beheaded, as their bodies dropped to the floor and blood began to pool around them all creating a small river.

[Now time to kill off a wild dog who doesn't seem to understand the saying of "You don't bite that hand that feeds"... I gave him a warning when he first approached me, but I will be tolerant no more]: soren

Soren then disappeared, before reappearing deep inside Danzo's base of operations, just in time to see Orochimaru finishing up a conversation with Danzo.

[Oh?... So the snake's here too… Looks like it's a two for one special]: soren

[Danzo… What's the meaning of this!?]: orochimaru

Danzo quickly turned around to see Soren standing there while covered in the blood of his ROOT Agents, and quickly spoke in an angry tone.

[This is the bastard that I told you about… So you've come here seeking repentance, and have finally decided to accept my offer?... Hahaha!]: danzo

[No, not really… I came here to collect your head, but before I could do that, I need to gather up the stuff you have here to prove that you are a traitor to your village, all for the greed you hold deep in your heart… You will never be Hokage, Danzo… Only a man with a valiant heart, and one who is loved by the people can claim that title… You neither have a valiant heart, nor are you loved by the people]: soren

[Y-You ignorant fool!!... How dare you say that!... I deserve the position of Hokage!!... I was there when Lord Second was passing on the position of Third Hokage to Hiruzen… If Hiruzen never came back from that war, I would have been given the position of Hokage, but no!... That old bastard gave Hiruzen the position because he raised the three sannin as his disciples!!]: danzo

[Hey… I'm right here, you know]: orochimaru

[Oi!... Shut it snake, or I'll kill you right where you stand… I'd advise you leave now before this place gets raided by the Hokage… I'd be such a shame to see such good work in scientific progression go to waste]: soren

When Orochimaru heard this, he smiled, before slithering away, as a small thanks was heard in his retreat, leaving Danzo in an uproar at the fact that the Hokage and his Anbu were on their way here, leaving him no time to cover up his footprints, or blame it on someone else.

[You bastard!... I'll kill you for this!!]: danzo

Just as Danzo charged Soren with a kunai, Soren caught the attack, as he countered and held Danzo's hand as he placed the kunai at Danzo's throat, just in time for an explosion, as the room was filled with smoke, and the Anbu rushed in to clear the place, followed by Minato in his battle suit. And when Danzo saw him, he quickly tried to place the blame on Soren, as he began shouting.

[M-Minato!... Quickly! Kill this brat! I found out that he's been working with Orochimaru in these experiments, and even turned my own ROOT Agents away from me, and took them under his control!... I-I tried to stop him, but he caught me off guard when you guys came in!!]: danzo

When Danzo said this, he was hoping that it worked, and when he heard Minato's next words, he sighed in relief.

[Soren… Release him]: minato

Soren understood what was about to happen, and quickly released Danzo in accordance with Minato's orders, and upon releasing him, Danzo rubbed his neck, as if he felt that the grim reaper's scythe was just there just a moment earlier.

[Good!... Now!... Anbu Agents! Arrest this traitorous criminal for treason against the Hokage, and aiming for the seat!]: danzo

As Danzo gave the order, Minato gave a slight head nod, as the Anbu agents began slowly moving in to capture their target, and when Danzo saw this all play out, he began laughing inwardly at how stupid these people were, and at how easy it was to fool them, before he gave his last words that he thought was cement the fact that he was never the traitor.

[I knew we couldn't trust you since day one!... Now your true colors begin showing… But there is nothing but death that awaits you after today, you bastard!]: danzo

Just as the Anbu got close to both Soren and Danzo, Minato spoke up in a commanding tone.

[Anbu Agents… Capture Danzo Shimura, for the act of treason against the land of fire, and plotting to overthrow the village in pursuit of the position of Hokage]: minato

Quickly, the Anbu lunged at Danzo, as they quickly captured him, and knocked him out with his final words being.

[Wait!... What the hell!?]: danzo

All the evidence was take in, and used to charge Danzo with many counts of treason before the civilian and shinobi counsel, thus stripping him of his position of head counsel member for the shinobi counsel, as well as showing insight to quite the few corrupt members of the counsel that had dealing with Danzo and his dirty work, such as child sex trafficking's, as well as covering for grave robbing's that happened in the Uchiha's Clan grave. A total of 15 members from the counsel were exposed, and executed on sight, while Danzo had a public execution, bringing joy to the villagers who found out that Danzo made it possible for the release of the Kyuubi that killed some of their families, and this made Soren even more of a hero for the people, as some started worshiping him as a possible candidate for the Fifth Hokage. After Danzo's execution, Soren said his goodbyes to both Minato and Kushina, as well as their daughter Kiko, and Naruto who was busy doing missions with Kakashi and the rest of his team, before he took Nikita out to travel to the Hidden Mist Village, where the System user was currently holding out, while trying to plan out his next move to take over this world through technology.

[How the hell am I gonna get the money to get people good enough for this project?... That bastard who appeared 6 year ago really fucked up my plans, as I was unable to collect the money Danzo promised me for killing Minato… I swear… If I ever see that face again, I'm gonna-]: ???

[You're gonna what?... Kill me?... I'm sure we both know that's impossible for you right now… So tell me… Why were you chosen to come here?... Was it just to fix what I changed?... If so, Why have you not tried to act again?]: soren

Soren was now standing before a man in his early 20's, with long black hair, and a sword resting beside him, he wore a simple gray kimono with a black haori tied around his waist, and a crazed look in his eyes.

[Why was I chosen?... Why not me?... Out of millions of lives, I was the one chosen… ME… It could have been anyone, but God chose me to clean up the mess you made for her… And right now, I'm paying her back by doing whatever she asks of me, and in return, I get to live out I like in this world… And right now, she's asking me to kill your little girlfriend here]: ???

Soren then watched as the man lunged with his sword drawn, as he tried to pierce Nikita, but she blocked and spoke in a cold tone.

[What a cheap shot… You can die now]: nikita
