37 Chapter 37: The God of Destruction

Soren opened a portal and stepped through it along with his group, and upon exiting the portal, they all were on the top of a big yacht, and we're currently looking down at a group of people who were now facing a giant purple hairless cat in egyption type clothing, and a tall dainty man with blue skin, and white hair and a floating ring hanging around his neck, wearing a maroon robe with a staff in his hands. Mark was the first to react upon seeing the cat and man duo, as stars appeared in his eyes, as he quickly made his appearance, but Soren knew that Mark was not strong enough to fight with Beerus, and at most, he could only go toe to toe with Super Saiyan 3 Goku at this current time.

[Dad… It seems I'm too late… *Sigh*]: soren

Soren wanted to stop his father from interrupting the flow of plot, but Soren had noticed a new presence to the group of surrounding people, and upon taking a look, Soren noticed that Raditz was there, while next to him, there was another man with spiky black hair, with a brown monkey tail that wrapped around his waist, and he wore a red martial gi, with black accents.

'Who is that?... I've never seen him before': soren

Soren then decided to make a move, as he then appeared between the group of Z-Fighters, and Beerus; the God of Destruction. And upon seeing Soren's appearance, everyone noticed that Soren and Mark had appeared, while Beerus and Whis were interested in the both of them, as they didn't leak any signs of Ki, while Beerus seemed to recognize Soren a bit, but couldn't remember where he saw him, so instead, he asked Soren a simple question.

[Mortal… Where have I seen you before?]: beerus

Soren heard Beerus' quarry, and he turned to look at Beerus before he spoke in a simple, yet carefree tone, as he knew that he could take care of Beerus with ease, while he didn't want to seem arrogant, as he knew that Whis could kill him.

[I am no Mortal… I am a Destruction God, just like you… AS for where you have seen me, I think I remember you from Planet Vegeta just moments before it's destruction… Nice to meet you, my name is Soren]: soren

Upon hearing Soren's claims, everyone was dumbstruck, as some of them had remembered Soren, albeit briefly, and hearing that he was a being on the same level of Beerus was quite shocking, while one man in particular had been freaking out since Soren arrived in this Universe due to the blaring warning notifications that went off in his head, and now he knew why the warnings were going off.

'I can't believe it!... He's this powerful!?... How am I supposed to even beat him!... System!... Tell me what I can do!': negi

Negi began having in depth conversation with his system, while Soren was being stared at with a bit of a murderous intent from not only Beerus, but Whis as well, as he felt that Soren was telling the truth, yet he still felt no power from his being, while the man next to Soren was the same, making him wonder just who Soren was, and who was the man standing with him, while the main question on everyone's mind was quite simple.

'Why is he here?': everyone

The Z-Fighters knew that Soren had left them all quite some time ago, and even through all the hardships, and multiple near extinction encounters for Earth and it's residence, Soren had yet to show up a single time to help them, even when they made a wish to Shenron to bring him back from where he currently was, but the answer was always that it couldn't be done. And instead, they all relied on themselves to protect the Earth from any kind of disaster that may befall it, while they all knew that Goku still hoped that Soren, Gine, and Kouki were okay, as they were family to him, while Gine was blood related, and Kouki was only half blood related.

[What do you mean!... How are you a God of Destruction!?... I sense no God Ki within your body, and you shouldn't be able to hide it from me]: beerus

Beerus was getting a little agitated, as he was first denied any pudding as Buu had licked it all, and then he was stuck waiting for the so called Super Saiyan God that was supposed to give him a good fight, but nobody knew what Beerus was talking about, so Bulma had Trunks and Goten go get the Dragon Balls, and now, Soren and Mark had appeared between them, and Soren was now claiming to be a God of Destruction, making him go past his limits in how patient one can get, but it only got worse when Soren spoke again.

[No… I never said I was a God of Destruction, but a Destruction God]: soren

[What!?... What the hell is the difference!]: beerus

[The difference?... Hahaha… The difference is that I'm much stronger than you]: soren

Upon hearing Soren's claims, Beerus had a glint in his eye as he decided that he would destroy Earth now, but before that, he would put Soren in his place as he began to speak.

[Oh?... Stronger than me?... I don't know… Back in the day, I used to be on par with 4 Gods of Destruction all at the same time… And even after a few millions of years with no real exercise and challenge, I won't be that rusty… You can go and die now]: beerus

Beerus then began floating up into the air as everyone then saw a gigantic purple ball of Ki gather at Beerus' fingertip, as smaller balls of a darker purple began orbiting around the main ball, as it looked like an atom, being circulated by positive and negative particles, and in a sense, this was exactly what was going on, as Beerus had created a gigantic atom made of Ki, and he planned on splitting it and taking Earth out of this Universe. Everyone began to panic upon seeing this, while people like Vegeta who had never seen Soren before, began cursing him for starting trouble with Beerus, and a little ways away from the group, Gine was having a reunion with Goku, as she noticed him standing not to far away, as he watched over the group, waiting to make an entrance, but Soren had already made a move, making Goku a bit curious as he watched on from the sides.

[Hehe… Such a puny attack?... You can do better than this, right?... Or is a God of Destruction just all talk?]: soren

Soren then raised his hand, and with a single palm wave, the ball of energy that had begun gathering on Beerus' fingertip had began to dissipate, as the destruction energy from within began to be absorbed by Soren's body, as he unconsciously began to leak some destructive energy from hisd body, shocking Whis, as the area around Soren began to corrode, and quickly, Whis pust both Beerus and Soren in a shield bubble that protected the outside from the destructive force that begun leaking from Soren's body, while Beerus had a smile grow on his face, as he too began to leak this destructive force, yet on a weaker level.

[Oh?... This might be a little fun… And since you aren't a God of Destruction from another Universe, the rule doesn't apply, and we can fight to the death]: beerus

[Death?... I don't think so… I'd rather not have to take over as the new God of Destruction… It's too bothersome]: soren

Upon hearing Soren's words, Whis began to chuckle a bit, while Beerus grit his teeth, and charged at Soren with a punch that contained 30% of his full power, but upon seeing Soren catch the strike while using his free hand to cover his mouth as he yawned, Beerus felt as if he were looking at himself from the position of those he crushed in the past.

[So 30% isn't enough?... Then how about 70%]: beerus

Beerus then backed away as he began to power up, and Soren along with everyone else who stood outside, watched as Beerus' body was covered in a dark menacing purple glow, and Beerus' eyes began to shine with a red glint, as he then sent a rapid succession of punches towards Soren, and in return, Soren just closed his eyes as he relied on his Observation Haki to dodge and counter all the attacks Beerus threw, and while watching, Whis noticed that this technique was very similar to Ultra Instinct, but none of his body parts moved on their own, rather it seemed like Soren knew where the attacks would land, and adjusted to dodge or counter.

'This Mortal... No… This God is quite interesting, but I still don't have a clue as to why he would show up here… Hmm… And from the looks of it, that Saiyan boy with the red Gi seems to know something… I'll tell Lord Beerus about this later': whis

Whis then went back to watching the fight, while Goku was eager to fight with Beerus once again, but seeing as Soren was already fighting him, he would have to wait his turn. Soren had noticed that Beerus began to slow down, before all of his attacks came to a stop, and he backed away with an angry face, as he then decided that it was time to stop playing around.

[Fine!... I'll admit… You are by far the strongest Mortal I have ever met… No, let me rephrase that… You are the strongest God that I have ever fought with, as I have met with stronger Gods… I will now use 100% of my power]: beerus

Beerus then began to power up once more, while his aura and ki spiked to a whole new level, making even Whis' barrier shake a little, before a few waves washed over the barrier making it stronger, courtesy of Whis. Soren and everyone had just watched as Beerus seemed to go through a small transformation, as white fur began to fade into his almost hairless looking purple fur, before his eyes began to change color as his eyes changed into a silver tone, and his purple aura became dark with all sorts of colors began to splatter within the aura, making it seem that the entire universe was being contained within his aura.

[This is a state that only the Gods can achieve, and even I have yet to fully master this form, so be happy that you have gotten to see this form in your lifetime]: beerus

Soren then raised an eyebrow at Beerus' current appearance, and thought he looked like a Zebra, as he had white stripes fading in to his purple fur, and all of the current spectators felt terror looking at Beerus' new form, as the presence was overwhelming, making even Mark pass out from unknown causes, but Soren assumed it was due to over excitement, making him sigh in his mind.

[Then this will be our last clash… Since you are going all out, please forgive me for holding back… I will now go all out as well]: soren

Soren then began releasing a tone of energy from his body as it filled the entire barrier bubble, as it once again began shaking, but on a whole new level, as Whis once again began containing it by adding a few more layers to the barrier, and then Soren's entire are was turned Obsidian black, as a red hue then covered his arm, and with a single cock back of Soren's arm, Whis quickly noticed that this one attack was extremely dangerous, as even he feared that he might not make it out unharmed by this attack of Soren's. And as Beerus began to charge towards Soren, Soren then released his punch, as the entire barrier shattered from the shockwave of the releasing air pressure, and within a split second, Whis moved in to knock out both Beerus and Soren, with Soren being first, as he posed the biggest threat to the current state of Earth, while Beerus could be stopped quite simply, as he had yet to make a move that could devastated the surroundings.

Soren had heard this last word before a blanket of darkness washed over him, before he passed out, and soon, Beerus followed suit leaving two godly being knocked unconscious by a dainty looking tall man with white hair, and a staff in his hands.

[Alright, alright!... That's enough of that… Now, let's get back to the party, shall we?]: whis

Whis clapped his hands together before his expressions became joyful, while Negi was stuck in mass confusion, as Soren seemed to know Haki, while he could also compete with a God of Destruction, while he seemingly had no Ki, as this was stated by Beerus himself, making the Saiyan wonder just what kind of powers Soren had attained in the time he came to destroy these words.

'Wow… Villains really do like power leveling… I need to step it up, or I will just die when he decides to confront me about my being here… Should I say that I'm like him?... No, he should also have a System, and if he does, then his System would have told him I'm here to kill him': negi

Negi seemed to be put through a moral dilemma, as he then began thinking on how to quickly gain power, and the first thing that came to mind was to attain Super Saiyan God, so while Whis had gone back to eating along with everyone else, Negi gathered the current Saiyans, and told them that he wanted to try something that would give them a major power boost, and upon hearing major power boost, Goku was the first to step up, while Gine went to go eat along with the others, as she waited for Soren to wake up.

[Alright, Negi-san!... What do you need us to do?]: goku

[It's quite simple… Back on Vegeta, before it's destruction, I was exploring the planet, and I accidentally stumbled upon an ancient rune that said 5 pure hearted Saiyans needed to come together, and share their energy onto 1 Saiyan to make the Saiyan God]: negi

Upon hearing Negi's explanation, Gohan was the first to speak.

[Wait… You said Saiyan God… Then you knew about the Super Saiyan God that the God of Destruction Beerus was talking about?]: gohan

[No… He said Super Saiyan God… This is just known as a Saiyan God, there is a difference… But if I were to assume further into my side, the Super Saiyan God is just the Super Saiyan form of the Saiyan God form]: negi

Negi then got everyone into agreeance with his plan after explaining the theory that in fact was the truth that he was withholding from them, and after everyone got in position, Negi was turned into a Saiyan God, as his spiky hair turned red, and his body began leaking pure God Ki, as Whis had his attention drawn towards them, and then watched with interest as the ritual was performed 2 more times, and both Goku and Vegeta were now Gods as well.

'Very interesting… First this God who can kill a God of Destruction, as well as give me a hard time, and a Saiyan who seems to know a lot more than he led on to believe… Just who are these people': whis

A few hours later, Soren had begun to wake up, only to see 4 people fighting in the sky, and it was Goku, Vegeta, Negi, and Beerus who had woken up just moments prior, and he was looking for a good fight.
