15 Friends!
After some time we went near the stage as Hokage was about to come for his speech.
Along the way, I felt someone was observing my every move from all directions. So I looked around to see who he or she was. I found that it was... some random fangirls.
[POV END]
[Sorry if you were expecting something different]
'Ahh, Man! The feeling when you are being stared from top to bottom every time creeps me out. But What can I do about it? I can't just go and beat them, that will be like getting the attention of their parents to come and bother me. That will be too much of a hassle.'
"Sigh" Raiden just sighed in defeat as it can't be helped.
"What happened? Aren't you excited like others to come to the academy? What's with your mood? " Shikamaru asked seeing my defeated expression.
"Its nothing. Just the being stared at, creeps me out"
The trio looked around and found that some random girls were gossiping and glancing towards Raiden with a blush.
"You are so (munch) popular Raiden! (munch)" Choji said while eating chips
"What a drag! It should have been troublesome for you. It's good that I am not popular" replied Shikamaru
Ino just remained silent. She had grown feelings for Raiden. He was a good friend to her before but after spending so much with him, she started to like him. She also always wears a hair clip which was gifted to her by him on her previous birthday.
But after some time she also noticed that some other girls also like him which made her worried if he would not like her as there were so many options. But she was relieved when she saw Raiden's attitude towards them as he directly ignored them without batting an eye as they were always trying to please or propose to him everywhere he went, which she noticed and found irritating so she never acted like a stupid fangirl. Even though he only talks to her among girls, she was still a little bit worried about it so she never showed her feelings to him which never got unnoticed by both Shikamaru and Raiden but they didn't say anything to her.
For Raiden, She was just a friend now. And she was currently a kid but he may think about her in future. But he enjoys her company and spending time with her.
She also heard from Hinata and Neji that Raiden is so strong that he can defeat them both together without breaking a sweat. So she also focused on training, not like a maniac but yes, she trained.

"But you are not the only one with that problem" Shikamaru pointed towards the Revan haired boy wearing an Uchiha sign on his back
All the kids looked in a pointed direction and around him. They found a good looking Uchiha kid who was standing with a static face and all the other girls were fawning around him but he didn't even bat an eye at them, just stood there silently.
Ino also found him good looking but not as good as Raiden.
" But he seems more popular than you, Raiden," Choji said while eating another packet of chips.
"But that's better Choji, I will have less girl fawning over me."
"Man What a drag! Being famous is quite troublesome!" said while averting his gaze from Uchiha.
After some time Hinata joined them, they talked to each other for some time in peace while waiting for Hokage. But their peace was interrupted by a blond Loudmouth Kid.
"Hello! You guys. How are you? Oh! Raiden you are also here. It's been a long time since I saw you. I thought I was late today, so I came as fast as possible but when I came I found that Hokage is late. Thank god I was saved" said Naruto with a grin on his face.
"Woah Woah Slow down Naruto. You could have said it slowly not so fast and why are being so loud. My ears are hearting And also now everyone is staring at us." replied Ino
"Naruto.....kun!!" Hinata said while stuttering. She talked normally to others but always become like this for obvious reasons.
"What a drag! "
"yo," Choji replied while eating chips.
Raiden just smiled at him as he was always been busy in his training so he could not meet others daily.
"Sorry Sorry! I was just excited because today I am going to start the academy" said naruto scratching his head while having a small smile.
"It's okay, don't worry we are all excited but try to be less loud next time. You are always so loud which make my ears hurt," replied Ino with a small smile.
Naruto just nodded and started talking about he exited he was and he will become Ninja after graduating and then he will become Hokage.
[Flashback]
[Raiden's Pov]
A few years earlier
I was hungry and tired due to morning training, so I decided to eat Ramen first then head home to take a rest.
But when I entered the shop, I greeted by a yellow-haired kid eating Ramen and blabbing about being a Hokage so that everyone would respect him.
I immediately understood who he was, He was Naruto Uzumaki, the jinjuriki of Kurama.
I was confused at first to befriend him or not so I just sat beside him and ordered some ramen and was thinking about the outcomes of befriending him. After some thinking, I decided to befriend him as Anbu may report to Hokage about me and Hokage will surely search for my background to check my intentions which were completely covered, as I was the son of Hizashi Hyuga who sacrificed his life for village and clan. And I was also the friend of Ino, Shikamaru and Choji. So He will be okay with him being my friend. And he may also notice me as I am Hyuga that is banished and trained by Guy. So, it may also help me in future as he may become interested in me as Guy was training me since I was 3 which was not common as I am not at all related to Guy.
As for Danzo, he may notice me but he has currently more important things to do like spreading rumours about Naruto and Uchiha. Framing Uchiha in different things etc. so he may ignore me and even he will take interest in me now. Guy sensei will support me and Hokage will be there also.
Before I could start a conversation with him. He said
"Hello! My name is Uzumaki Naruto. Umm...do you also like Ramen?"
"Hello! My name is Raiden and yes I love Ramen as it is the best thing I have eaten. How about you?"
Naruto's eye shone with happiness after listening to my reply as no one even talk to him. They always see him with loathing eyes but only an old man at the bank of the river and Teuchi the shop owner talk to him. He was even thrown away from the orphanage.
"Yeah, I also like it. It is the food of Gods"
After that, we talked for some time while eating Ramen. He asked me if I was alone or my parents were waiting for me. I told him every Hyuga clan stuff but I told him to not tell other kids as they being stupid will decide to bully me about my situation. He understood and nodded because He could relate his life with mine a little bit about being disregarded by everyone and other stuff. He also told me about his complete situation and other things. We talked to each other until we were full. After we were full we decided to leave but before leaving I asked him
"Hey, Naruto! Are you free this evening?"
"Yep! I have nothing to do for the complete day. But why?"
"Oh! then I want to ask you if you will come to the playground this evening at 5 p.m."
"Yeah! I will come. But why would you invite me?" he asked with a confused look
" Isn't it obvious because we are friends now"
Naruto started crying after listening to me as it was the first time someone called him a friend.
After consoling him, I just said goodbye to him and went my way.
In the evening I introduced him and his situation to others which made them quite surprised as a kid of the same age as they were going through such a situation. Hinata was surprised the most as she didn't meet naruto after he saved her and also didn't know about his situation. After finding it she was surprised as even in this situation he tried to help her.
Naruto was silent all time because he thought that they will do the same as others but Shikamaru being more perceptive one decided to head towards Naruto and Introduced himself while shaking his hand. Others followed his example and introduced themselves.
Naruto was crying in the whole process as today not only he made is the first friend but became friends with 6 new kids.
Since then Naruto also started to spend his time with the group and was happy because he wasn't lonely anymore. Even though he didn't have his parents but he has his friends now.
