10 10) Diving As A Family

After awhile his mom and Rosalie came back, his dad was standing next to him bouncing with excitement, Nissy was waiting to send them off. They had already agreed when Rosalie was told that they would all go diving again as a family, his dad was happy since he got addicted to the feeling of leveling up.

He wasn't going mad with power but loved the feeling of the game like things they were doing, even if he got stronger than any other wizard he wouldn't care as long as he had his family. Rosalie had already heard everything from his mother and wondered what she would get as a starter pack in the dungeon, Cory put the key in after everyone was there.

They all walked out into the 'Hell' and looked at Rosalie who was fascinated by her status she also got a 'starter pack' what was cool was her weapon. It was a sword that she took out the blade was smooth and looked like it was made of Ivory the hilt was blood red with some silk on it.

"It's called the Vampire Queens sword and it is evolvable, is that good?" she asked looking at them all she wasn't really much of a gamer so she didn't know if she got something good or not.

"What rank is it at right now?" Cory asked he had learned that each weapon depending on the grade would stop evolving after a certain level.

"A-Rank."

"Then yes it is good, that is just like my sword it will be able to evolve into the top tier weapon reaching SSS-Rank. It's a good thing your boyfriend knows how to use a sword now right?" he sent her wink and she rolled her eyes, "Well let's split it up me and Rosalie will take one side while the you two take the other, you can take 'Thing 1' and '2' so that we can meet up if someone finds the boss."

His parents agreed and took off south while they went north, along the way Cory taught Rosalie how to use the sword she was slowly learning. Though she had the strength the technique wasn't there so she didn't get it right away though she was determined to get it down.

She knew Alice was going to be so jealous of her later when she learned about all this seeing as she was the first let in, while her and Esme were closer to his mom Alice was close to his dad. This would also be heaven for Emmett and Jasper since both really loved fighting and since Emmett was such a gamer he would get a kick out of it.

After awhile they came across hellhounds which he let Rosalie handle to get more experience, he stood behind he taking out any that would sneak attack. She was doing well but since she wasn't use to using the sword she was having a little trouble, the bites she got from them healed though so there was no scar.

Like his parents she also got a quest but it was a little different, [Main Mission- (Rosalie) You are now the third to dungeon dive but you have already gain immortality, so why not go for more? Though she was hesitant she still wanted to get it to see what would happen, Cory also encouraged her telling her that she didn't need to worry since he would always be by her side. After awhile they picked up many drops including a beginners guide to sword art, it helped her a little but it didn't make her an expert.

Cory had his inventory filled with these things but other than selling them back for nothing he couldn't do anything with them not even give them away. He also had some stuff he wanted to mess with in the real world but since he just got the secret fully out he was waiting.

Now though later him and Rosalie along with his mom and dad could mess with some of the things together, a lot were noticeable that was why he didn't leave them out. He started to zone out while Rosalie fought a group of imps, he was wondering why he didn't get a mission like everyone else it made him want to reach the bottom even more.

Coming back to himself he moved quickly slashing his sword at a demon who managed to get behind Rosalie and cut its head off. He blushed a little sliding closer to her and holding her waist, he didn't get a chance to spend enough time with her after they learned about each other.

"How are you feeling about everything Rosie Bear?" he asked leaning into her and kissing her neck.

She moaned leaning back into him, "I'm happy, it has been years and no one has ever been my mate and I had to watch my family with theirs. Though I wasn't expecting all this it is even better than I could ask for, I have a man I love and something to do in my free time Immortality does get boring after awhile."

Cory chuckled taking a deep breath, though she had small splashes of blood on her clothes she still smelled heavenly.

"Now though we are working towards the bottom of this to get the pills for your parents along with getting that Orb for me I'm glad that we won't have to lose them. That was another big concern but knowing they could be with us forever I'm happy." She grabbed his hands which were around her waist and cuddled more into him, she could see their family in the future along with kids running around though she didn't tell him that.

Cory and her stood there for a moment before they went back to fighting they had forever to be together now and while they hadn't gotten to the talk of marriage they both saw it in the future. After walking around for nearly twenty hours they met back up with his parents, the boss wasn't in the north or south meaning it was in the mountains to the east or volcano to the west.

He already knew though it was west why wouldn't it be, the peaceful looking forest or the lava flowing volcano that had imp's dancing around it like they were preforming a ritual. His dad agreed and looked eagerly in that direction but he stopped him from going forward along with him mom.

"We can go there later Richard, we are still normal humans lets go out and eat first before we go and fight it." his mom said dragging his dad by the ear out the door that appeared.

Rosalie and Cory laughed following along, when they got out it was already nine pm and since their phones didn't work inside Rosalie got a bombardment of messages and missed calls. She texted everyone that she was okay and they would talk tomorrow before following Cory and his parents to the kitchen.

Nissy already made dinner and was waiting for them all patiently, Cory had gotten her to go and see what was going on at Hogwarts and knew it was close to the end of Harry's third year. They got out the same time as them so he was thinking of going to visit him after their school year was over it would be a vacation for him, his parents, and Rosalie.

When they all sat down Rosalie happily ate along with the family each talking about their day while his dad bragged about him and his mom's adventure in the dungeon. He was glad to see them so happy, sure they met up with old friends but since he stopped working he saw them bored when their friends were at work.

"So I was thinking we all go over to Rosalie's and talk to her family this weekend." Cory said out of the blue when they were letting their food settle before they went for one last dive in the dungeon.

"Oh why is that?" his mom asked Rosalie wondering the same thing.

"Well we can all formally introduce ourselves along with getting out our real identities, so Rosie Bear can you wait until this weekend and keep it from them? I can even guard your mind from Eddy so he won't know." Cory said looking over at her.

His parents nodded along thinking it was a good idea they would all be family soon anyway, Rosalie also agreed after hearing that he could block her mind from Edward. After resting his dad was the first to pull him back to go dungeon diving his mom rolling her eyes at her husbands antics, Cory only laughed and went along while holding Rosalie's hand.

They all worked as a team moving west to the volcano getting ready for a fight it was their first time going to see a boss or fight one so his family and girlfriend was a little nervous. Cory assured them as long as the mobs were cleaned up nicely then it would be an easy win, he even promised his dad not to finish it quickly so they all got good experience from it.

As they moved closer in they came across hordes of Hellhounds, Imps, and low class demons, this is also where his dad ran from the first time they had came in here. They all started to slowly be surrounded as they killed off groups since everyone was low level except him they all gain experience and levels faster.

His dad actually started going battle crazy and started throwing off every spell he knew while eating the limitless supply of mana pills he had, his mom could only shake her head. She was doing it a lot calmer but the smile on her face let them know she was enjoying it a lot, Rosalie and him worked as a team taking them down.

'Thing 1' and '2' were moving around his parents taking out the ones that tried to hit them from behind, though it was their first dive they all worked in perfect sync. There was little slip ups now and then but for the most part they worked like they had been doing it together for years, Rosalie and his mom eventually standing back to back taking down their final monsters.

When they last fell the volcano started to rumble before a giant red demon with three eyes on each side came out with a furious roar, it had two giant horns spouting out its head. Cory's dad stood there froze for a moment he was still battle ready until he saw that then quickly hid behind his wife with a fearful expression, in a word his dad was a wimp now.

His mother rolled her eyes before looking at him, "Well this is also my first time fighting this thing but if I had to guess it is an A+-Rank monster so about as strong as 'Thing 2'." They all nodded, "We will just have to fight and see how it goes we will learn his weakness slowly, and don't worry about death I have this."

He brought out eight glowing rainbow rocks, "It's called a revival stone they can revive anyone who has died in the past twenty-four hours as long as we are near them." he gave everyone two just incase he himself died, being immortal didn't mean other things can't kill them, they just couldn't die of old age or diseases.

After they were passed out the three rushed in they told him to hang back so they got more experience an also so that they could work more on their skills, Cory happily nodded. He wasn't like the protagonist in Solo or other things when he saw the chance to help his family get stronger he would help so he didn't need to do it alone.

Rosalie was the first to reach swinging her word at his leg hoping the special effect of the sword [Blood Drain] would work, like most games it had a life stealing effect. His dad and mom stood some ways back firing spells though they were also learning to fight without wants they couldn't do anything against a fifty foot monster that stared down at them.

The battle was twelve hours long before the boss roared his last breath and fell in pieces before turning into loot, his parents and girlfriend did all the work while he waited in the back. Of course they had the help of his shadows but they did most of the work themselves, picking up everything they walked to him they had no clue what each thing could do.

"Well looks like it was a good drop," he threw the blood red core to Rosalie, "Put this in your sword and it will gain experience," He also hand something called wand sand to his parents it did the same thing so most likely they could grow into elder wands. "So how was your first dive?" he smiled at them with the here it was actually quicker.

"That was scary but amazing, now I know why you spent so much of your youth alone." his dad said not knowing that the end of that was a little stab to his heart, he was just cold towards people it wasn't that he didn't want friends.

His mom and girlfriend agreed before they all walked out, "So are you staying tonight Rosalie or do you have to go?" he asked her when they made it back into the living room.

"She is staying tonight we have already talked about it." his mom answered for her smiling at the two before walking away with his dad.

Cory smiled and had Nissy bring him and her to the bathroom so they could take a bath and get the smell of blood off of them even if it was faint. The bathroom had been redone by Nissy the tub was now as big as a pool while the shower could hold at least twenty people with a waterfall shower head.

Rosalie practically drooled seeing the size of the place, she wasn't modest either and stripped in front of him making his brain short circuit. When he came back to himself she was leaning back in the pool bath with a relaxed expression on her face, he quickly joined her.
