1 1) Growing Up....

Looking outside his window Cory only saw a dreary place with rain falling everywhere and the clouds blocking the sun. He was in the town of Forks, Washington knowing that he frowned greatly not because of any other reason then the fact that he knew this place was not his home.

Looking down at his small hands and body that also tipped him off, he was a twenty-four year old man and was in the body of a five year old. Sighing he was hoping he would meet some sort of god but that didn't happen and what is up with him not getting any gifts to grow stronger.

Walking over to his new bed he sat on it and held his head, he didn't know if he was just in another place on earth or if he was truly in another world and there were no signs for him to know. As he threw himself back onto the bed his head was assaulted with memories of the past owner of this body and this made him shock getting the information.

Shocked he sat there letting the headache go away slowly luckily it wasn't bad enough for him to scream out loud and alert his parents. The information he got though made him worried but also happy some, for one he was now immortal but could change his looks and effect others if he wanted.

Two he was Monarch like from Solo leveling the only difference is that he didn't become the player, instead he just got the work-out routine, became the shadow monarch, and could gain levels through fighting. This kind of made him curious about the world but since it was still only his first day in it then he didn't know what to expect.

Hell he didn't even know what he looked like, getting up he went to his attached bathroom and looked in the mirror. Well he wasn't expecting it but he looks just like Sung Jin-Woo from the solo leveling manhwa, well at least he knew when he grow up he would be handsome.

Walking back into his room a bright light flashed before a key landed on his desk that was in his room, walking over to it he picked it up and some words appeared in his face. [SSS Rank Dungeon Key- This key will allow you to enter a dungeon anytime you want, this is the only key that will appear. No one but you can use this key, use it to level up. The dungeon starts form E Rank monsters before stopping at SSS Rank Monsters.]

Cory was surprised but smiled seeing that he nodded and took a string from his desk and made a necklace with the key. He wouldn't do any dungeons right now he was only Five for one and two he had no strength to fight anything that might be in the dungeon so he wouldn't rush in.

His immortality though was something that interested him it was something he wasn't expecting he didn't know how to feel about being alive forever. While it sounded great not having anyone to share it with just made things bad since he would be alone forever.

His effect on others made a question mark appear over his head but he didn't think much about it, he could make someone who is different normal again, well with limitations. Shrugging it off he decided to go downstairs he noticed that his room was packed up and didn't know why but he would figure out soon.

Going down stairs he saw his parents packing away the living room apparently they never told the past kid what was happening, "Mom! Dad! What is going on?" he asked standing at the bottom of the stairs.

They looked at each other before sighing, "Well little man we have been trying to keep this from you but I guess since we are leaving in awhile then we should tell you," His dad said, "I got a job offer at a company in New York we are going to be moving there, were sorry we are going to have to move you away from your friends."

His parents looked at him and waited to see what his expression would be but they just saw him standing there for a moment thinking about something. Cory was actually not worried about it he felt no feelings for his 'friends' but for his parents he did feel deep love.

Nodding he looked at them both and smiled, "Well that is fine let's go."

The both thought it would be difficult talking to him about it but seeing that he was fine with it they smiled and his mother rushed over and hugged him. Cory smiled and after hugging his mom went back up stairs they were the ones who were going to pack his room so he didn't need to.

*12 Years Later.

A teenager with midnight black hair and black eyes with a faint blue and purple glow was running down the streets of New York in Harlem. This was Cory over the past twelve years he had been keeping up with his workout and was now a well fit man who had a swimmers body.

Around his neck was his key to the dungeon he used it once to check out what was inside and when he found the goblins inside he left after killing one. He was also able to gain money from killing them the money going to his inventory that he had gotten with his Shadow Monarch powers.

After that he went back three times a week for the past twelve years, he was now able to kill A Rank Monsters. He also had three shadows only thinking they were good enough for him to fight with they were; a giant A Class Dire Wolf, A Class Wood Elf, and a S Class Magic Panther.

Though he could hold Ten shadows he stopped on those he wasn't going to get more until he made it further to the highest ranked monsters. He would have gotten rid of the ones he had but over the time they grew on him so he kept them now they were like pets.

His shadow were all General grade but they didn't gain the ability to speak, instead they went to looking like normal animals again. Though anyone would could feel Aura's would know that these things were deadly enough to take a nuke by themselves.

As he was finishing his last 2k he got a call from his mom, it was finally time for them to move back to Forks. His dad had bought into the company that he worked at and later they were bought out from a company who wanted to get the equipment they made.

His dad was lucky enough to have forty percent of the shares being the major shareholder, so when they sold for ten billion his dad got three all to himself. After that happened his parents wanted to go back to their hometown for two reasons, one because they were going to retire there, and two because ever since moving there Cory hadn't made friends.

It was Cory's fault though he had isolated everyone knowing he was different he didn't see a reason to be friends with regular people who would die way before him. The only reason he was so close to his parents was because he knew that they would die before him so he didn't need to worry about them ever wondering about him to much.

Looking up at the sky he smiled, Goodbye Harlem I might see you again someday.
