Chapter-15: System and An Outing

'System, are you there?' thought Jim.

[Ding] Yes, host, I am. You have one chance to do a spin, but due to the host's luck being used to get the writing skill last time, the host might not get something good this time around.

'Well, what's the point in waiting? You might as well just spin it,' Jim thought, and the system spun the wheel.

[Ding] Host, congratulations! You got an assistant AI's code.

[Ding] It works on mobile and computer, and you can create a server for it where it can store the data you collect and filter it out to give you the best result you can get through the internet. It can also develop with time, learn, progress, and you can upgrade it and add new elements.

[Ding] As the spin has finished, we will meet on the next spin, host.

"Well, that was fast," said Jim to himself.

Jim was thinking about this as he entered the living room on the ground floor and saw his mom relaxing with his sister, watching a comedy movie today.

Here, in this world, many movies were there, but many were absent. So, it was good that he made a rule of researching the movies and anything he wants to release to know that he is basically the first to do it.

"Jimmy, Jimmy, come, come. Watch this movie with us; it's soooo funny," Gia said, as she interrupted him out of his thoughts.

"Okay, okay, little Giu, I am coming. So, what are you both doing tomorrow? Wanna go somewhere? Schools are gonna start soon, and we should have an outing somewhere," asked Jim as he suggested what was on his mind, as he wanted to see the other things this place has to offer.

In Los Angeles, in the gated community they were living in, there were good houses. A little difference is there in all houses, as everyone had a chance of renovation to their house for some rooms and space.

His house was in the mid to farther away from the entry point of this community, so he had to walk when going out of the community.

His community, that is, 'Serene Grove,' is an exclusive gated community near Beverly Hills, founded by billionaire Alexander Sterling. Sterling and his family also live in the community at the mansion side at the end of the community, which is also far from the entrance of the community. The community features a gradation of homes, from charming two-story houses near the entrance to luxurious mansions on Mansion Boulevard. Residents can operate shops in the community, fostering a collaborative environment.

'Grove Assistants,' part-time workers, contribute to shop operations and community tasks. A 5-minute walk leads to Harmony Square, an adjacent urban hub with shops, a healthcare center, and recreational spaces. Sterling owns properties here, linking the community to the thriving economic center. The square is a short drive from Beverly Hills, ensuring residents have easy access to city glamour while enjoying the tranquility of 'Serene Grove.'

Jim's mind wandered, thinking of potential places he can visit with his mother and sister. A mere 15-minute drive to Azure Bay Promenade crossed his thoughts - imagining the beach vibes and checking out the modern aquarium near that beach. And for a laid-back movie night, Celestial Cinemas felt like the perfect spot nearby. These places, with their coastal charm and entertainment, seemed like the ideal escape for Jim, nestled in the exclusive community near Beverly Hills.

He can also plan a family day out. Besides imagining a relaxed stroll in the verdant Garden Vista Botanical Gardens, the notion of exploring Beacon Heights Observatory interested him. Positioned atop a small hill close to the community, the observatory not only promised a captivating view of the night sky but also provided an engaging science-related experience with a museum related to astronomy, stars-themed cafes, and an area where there are some small mansions with enough space to sit in the garden, look at stars, and enjoy family time.

These mansions are quite far from one another and are also suitable for holidays, as movie stars, some businessmen, and even tourists come here to relax. Jim envisioned family dinners, a camping spot, and the thrill of spending the night beneath the stars—all set against the backdrop of scientific marvels. These added elements, blending the allure of nature with scientific fascination, heightened Jim's anticipation for an extraordinary day in the upscale community near Beverly Hills.

As Jim was thinking of this, he was planning with his mother on which place to visit, and they made a plan to visit the museum and movie theatre. However, due to his mom's busy schedule on the next working day, they cannot visit the Beacon Heights Observatory.

The next day, they made their way to the aquarium and went to the cinema during the noon for a new movie, 'Jickey's Adventure to the Graveyard.' A little bit of comedy but mainly, his and his friends' adventure in the graveyard near their house where they thought they saw ghosts and it unfolded to be something done by a few thieves to make people stay away from there. However, they got caught by the bravery of Jickey and his friends, who took the help of their parents and the police to have those thieves arrested.

Gia, due to her overexcited nature, talked non-stop and came up with various theories on how she would handle the situation. Even though both Jim and his mom knew that this little hamster was scared of ghosts, as every child is, Gia confidently suggested ways she could handle the situation. In one instance, she proudly exclaimed,

"Jimmy, they are so stupid! Do they really think a ghost exists? Hmph, they are really cowards," Gia said excitedly as she explained her brave approach, while being carried by him. Ava, his mother, was tired but enjoyed today's day.

"Oh, and what would you have done?" asked Jimmy, mainly interested in what she might have cooked up in her mind and eager to listen to her.

"Hmmm, hmmm, first," she said, pointing her finger out. "I will go to Momma, then I will call the police and say that the graveyard is sus... suspecous... suspicious, hmm, yes, suspicious."

"So, basically, you wouldn't enter the place, is that what you're saying? But how is it brave?" Jim asked, and Ava listened to their conversation with a smile, recording some of their moments for her collection of cute memories.

"Stupid Jimmy, why would I go to a place that is weird at night, and why would I not tell Momma when there could be something wrong there? Hmph, you need to learn something from me, and also, don't interrupt me in between. Now, I forgot what I was going to say," scolded Gia, her worried look shifting to a cute expression, as if I might really do something foolish.

She then turned to face Mom, wearing a facial expression that seemed to say, "Seriously, your son, aka her brother, is so stupid." Her expression turned angry as she scolded me for interrupting her midway. Mom, watching us, had the laugh of her life, giggling non-stop but not intervening.

As we went home, we talked about this and that. After reaching home, Jim and the others had already had dinner outside, so they all went to their rooms. Gia was tired and fell asleep midway through their journey home. Without Jim reading the novel or meeting his daily quota, he gently placed her on her bed.

Jim went to his room and opened his computer to try out the code for the AI he had acquired. He had already informed Alex about today's outing with his family, as she and her brother did not have to come today because nobody would be home.

Tomorrow, he planned on starting the AI project and initiating the creation of the website and application related to educational courses. Meanwhile, Alex started recording some videos of herself delivering lectures with a voice changer. She opted to share only the content without showing her face since it would be hard for anyone to believe that a 14-year-old could teach something to others their age without credibility.

As he saw that the code needed to be written by him, but unlike last time, this code is present in the system learning room, and he doesn't have to learn it to write it; he just has to memorize it and write it on his computer. When it is completely written, it will work. Since he has knowledge of computers and coding and other concepts already, it will be an easy task for him, and he can learn more about some deep concepts of AI later after creating it.

As he thought of that, he lay on his bed and entered the system room to learn or memorize the part of the code he wants to write tomorrow. He set an alarm for 2 hours early so he could start at the earliest and not miss breakfast, as memorized code might only be in his mind for a short term. Slowly, he fell asleep as he thought of using AI for many things.
