18 INSIDE LIFE IV

A harsh tingle cut through my scalp, jerking me from my unconsciousness. My eyes short open, slipping to half - mast because of my throbbing head. Blurry images laced my vision, dizziness clouding my brain. Panting through the agony, my vision cleared, just then I remember the smirk from the man that shoved the food under the slot, and I wasn't in the small cell.

I glanced at the grinning man below, it's Idris, before looking at the face of the other prisoner, Paul. I walked up to Williams that I sighted. "Williams, where is this place?"

"It's our underground escape, every night we come down here, leave prison and come back." Williams said.

"Smuggle drugs, weapons, anything." Idris added.

"It's not everybody that know this place, there are snitches, hope you're not." Paul asked.

"Definitely not! But who brought me here."
