9 Chapter 8 - The War's Aftermath...
** Endo Ken's Point of View **
It was too late to get the Blue Devil to back out from going to his home because we were already here. The devil separates from me and walks to the remains of the cave.
He stands there for a bit, but then he holds out his hands. The ground shakes a bit as he cast his spell. The ground uproots and forms a big rock. Then, the devil shoots a pressurized water stream at the foundation.
What's, is he doing, cleaning the rock? I couldn't tell what cleaning the foundation would do since it was created with magic, but then the rocks dents in. After 10 minutes of working, the devil stops. The rock he created was now hollow, resembling a cave.
Wow... He recreated his cave, though this is a bit bigger than his old one. He turns to me and bows. "Thanks, Ken, for coming out here. It's getting a bit dark, so you might want to head home."
Sure, no need to ask me twice! I bow and say my goodbyes. As I leave the area, I could hear a quiet laughing, but it could be my imagination. Oh, well... Time to run home!

** Chiba Eichi's Point of View **
A day has passed since the battle with the elves. At negotiations, all the elves wanted was a peace treaty for the next 30 years. I offered an ally treaty with them, but they declined, asking for a bit more time before thinking about allying.
Currently, I'm in the presence of the King, reporting everything that occurred yesterday. "... and that is all I have to report."
"I see... Thank you, Eichi. This is very... interesting. I can hardly believe that the Blue Devil exists. I'll have a gag order placed and a ban on the forest. If citizens start traveling over to him and bug the devil, then we might meet our end soon."
"Understood your majesty! I have also received some words that nobles are becoming more accepting of other races due to the outcome of the war."
"Good. If we keep this up, maybe we'll be able to get some allies with some non-human kingdoms. Oh, and about this meeting with the devil..."
"Oh... Sorry, I made the offer to appease the devil."
"I understand, but we don't know when he'll be coming. Hopefully, he doesn't demand anything too extreme and doesn't kill me. Oh, I have overheard that some illegal actions are occurring in the guild. I want you to investigate this matter."

A day has passed since I escorted the Blue Devil home. Currently, I'm in front of the council, with the General discussing the current events.
"Unbelievable... I can't believe that the Blue Devil is this strong... He has the strength to destroy armies with 50,000 or more and has the power to revive those who passed away. This is a problem, indeed... This world might come to an end soon."
"I agree with you, number one. Oh, maybe we could ignore the devil for a bit?"
"We could, but what use would that do, number two? The devil is causing a lot of problems already. Letting him loose on the world could be devastating. Ken, what are your thoughts?"
"In my opinion, the Blue Devil is a sensitive individual. I mean, he was ticked off just because his house was destroyed, though that is a valid reason to be mad. We can wait, but first, we need to limit citizens to not go anywhere near the cave. If someone ticks him off, it's all over..."
"Understood. Number five make preparations immediately!"
"Roger that, number one!"
"Thanks. Ken, thanks again for joining the war and calming the devil. You may take your leave."
"No problem."
I take my leave. While I do, I could hear number one say something to the General. "General, I need to speak with you about the Empire. Can you stay for a bit?"
Ignore them since it wasn't my concern, but man. This is a real stress giver...
** Imai Akuma's point of view **
A year has passed since my cave has been destroyed. During this time, I reinforced my cave and trained myself profusely. I mainly focussed on magical training.
During the morning, I continued to do my daily regiment; however, in the afternoon, I start my magical training. For 2-3 hours, I would read about how magic works and then use the rest of the time practicing on my magic.
Thanks to my effort, I can now sense anything about 15 kilometers away. Also, my speed has increased dramatically. I can run up to 200 kilometers per hour. No need for cars if you can run faster than them.
I also don't need any airplanes either. I can fly way faster than the fast jet in my old world. I can fly up to 10,000 kph, but it doesn't stop there. If I want to run or fly faster, spells like [Accelerate] and [Boast] allows one to move more quickly.
With only one active, my speed input increases by 1,000 times. This means that I can fly at 10,000,000 kph. With both active, I can reach 10,000,000 kilometers per second. With a bit more training, I could soon reach the speed of light!
These two spells also work on my other senses, but I don't think I'll need to use it like that. I also learned some other spells like [Search].
[Search] is a spell that allows me to find some certain items or things. The first thing I did after learning this spell was to see if they were any treasure under or near my home. Sadly, there wasn't any...
My strength has increased too. I can jump 10 meters (10 km with the spell on) above the ground, though I don't think I'll ever need to jump that high.
My punches are also devastating. With one blow, I can destroy a field of trees. Once while I was testing my strength, I punched the ground. It created an impact that shook the world and created shockwaves. It left a massive crater in the ground (I did fix it afterward).
Again, I think I'm well prepared and defended. At least, I can stop any intruders now.
...
Now what? I could continue training, but I'm strong enough now. Maybe I could visit a town and meet new people? I do want to increase my social skills... Oh, I know! I'll visit that elvan town. I think it was called Elvania? Yeah, Elvania, here I come!
I cast my teleport skill and teleported to the outskirts of the town, where I started to follow Ken two years ago.
