Prologue

… Alec was panting and from his face, you can picture his broken mental health. Everything around him was covered in red, bodies of the deceased one can be seen everywhere, some were intact but most of them were beyond recognition. 

Not in his wildest dream, had he imagined that he had to sacrifice this much.  He lost his friends,  his lover, his teacher, and everyone he ever considered important. 

" if only I would not have taken this world just a novel" 

" if only I had not tried to follow the novel's plot"

" if only I had made a good decis-" 

**screech** 

"cough…cough" 

(*coughing blood* )

" h–how are you alive?" 

A sword can be seen going straight through the heart of alec and the one who did this was the same person that took everything from him 

'Demon god'. 

" you tried well but you failed. Did you really think that you can kill this immortal me when not even those pesky 9 reptiles were able to do so" 

" pest should know their place "

**krach** 

A head rolled on the ground and the world got covered in darkness.

" Is this for real? "

" how the hell does the editor even allow this type of a ending "

Frustration can be seen on my face right now. I tossed my phone on the corner and got laid down in bed. I was very angry right now. My favorite novel just got its last chapter uploaded even though I should have been happy about it but its ending just ruined it all. 

The novel "True ending" was one of the most successful novels of all time. Well, it's not like this novel had a crazy a** storyline of something but instead, the troop was a common one in which mc goes inside the novel. The real thing that truly differentiated it from the others was its world-building and character depth. I like those times when even a beta character was able to shake my emotions.

 It was also not a rushed one. Containing a whopping 1053 chapters, how the hell can someone even call it short? But the reason why the ending got messed up was something I wasn't able to understand until that happened.

I felt thirsty so got up from my bed. it was already midnight and I have to go to the office tomorrow thinking about my work and making my way towards the kitchen.

*Clomp… clomp…* 

I heard someone in the hallway. I felt a shiver down my spine. First of all, I was living alone, and second no one other than me had a house key. I gathered my courage and walked towards the noise. On my way, I tried to pick up a flower pot for self-defense but at that moment I felt a strong pain in my head just like someone busted and opened up my head like a walnut and it was the case.

*Thump*

My body fell to the ground lifelessly and I could clearly feel my consciousness fading away little by little.

"I hope I get a chance to live again"

Those were both my last words and thoughts. 

My life was not bad; you can simply consider it a normal life. I can even tell you about it in just a few sentences. A bright student from the start, not a bad looking one, got a girlfriend in middle school, broke up in high school, studied hard in high school, no relationship, got a good College, new girlfriend, got a good job and that's all. 

My parents passed away during my first year of high school and that was a terrible memory. And also that was the first time when I first started watching anime. For me, that was an escape route from reality. I laughed watching it, cried while watching it, and sometimes also got angry watching it but that was a fun time. Little by little I got into manga then manhwa and finally, I stumbled into web novels.

Sometime later I got over my sorrow but the habit of reading web novels continued with me.  I read it on the train, I read it during my free period, and sometimes even in the bathroom. I was engrossed in it. Having no relatives and having enough money left by my parents for me; Studying and reading web novels were mainly the only works I did at the time. And that was also the time when the 'true ending' novel got released.

'True ending' showed us an advanced world where humans were able to use 'mana', a type of energy through which they were able to wield superpowers like superheroes. Gates, dungeons, monsters, elves, and other mythical creatures were present. A crispy academy life with an 'MC being inside the novel' type masala on top of that. Great battle with demons, heart-aching romance, and a strong storyline to carry all of these.

For me, it truly was a masterpiece if only I didn't remember its ending. Even after my death, It made me curious just why it has a devastating end. Why does the author show demons winning the battle? And how the fu*king hell did he think that it was a good end?

Thinking all those trashy thoughts I was drifting in pitch darkness but suddenly I once again felt that pain.

"Ahhhhhhh..."

I tried to open my eyes. a while later I got my consciousness under control but the later sight shocked me. My whole body was covered with blood. In my surroundings, there are some kinds of animals slaughtered away and from the looks of it, it looks like someone has massacred them. Glancing at my body I found out it was not mine. It was the body of a 16-17 yr old boy and I was already 28 yrs old.

But suddenly something flashed in front of me confirming my doubt that I got reincarnated.

Seeing a system msg the rest of his hope of being alive drifted away like the cool breeze drifting in the place where he was right now. Checking his surrounding he moved from his position and after recollecting his thoughts he said -
