16 Chapter 16- Return

After we killed the rulers of each of the kingdoms, leaving Cercius's parents for last, we headed back to the sacrificial circle where Demetrius was waiting for us. "Are you ready to head back?"

"Yes." I grin. "These kingdoms are dreading my return."

"Yeah. I even heard a couple peasants call you the Demon of the Darkness."

"Demon of the Darkness eh? I like it. Faelynn, the Demon of the Darkness, the Queen of the Demon Realm, the ruler of the world of magic!"

"That's a lot of titles."

"Eh. Happens." I shrug.

<Stop!>

"Huh? Bertran?"

<There's another monster!>

"What?"

"What's going on?" Cercius asks.

"Bertran says there's another monster."

"Who's Bertran?"

"A system."

"Still feeling confused."

"Not now. I'll explain later."

<Ping! New quest added!>

<Accept?>

"Yes."

<Now you see the cave over there?> Bertran makes me turn my head.

"Yes."

"Heh. Fun. Let's go boys! We have a monster to kill!"

"Yeah!" Demetrius grins. I lead them to the cave.

"In here." I walk in and see a massive slime monster. "Heh. Time to use something I found recently." I smirk and use the magic scroll. Thousands of daggers and other blades surround me glowing with a fiery glint. "Go!" I yell and they shoot towards the monster. The two by my side charge in as well and I follow. "Die!" I growl stabbing the monster millions of times.

<Rewards: The Twin Daggers of the Goddess of Demons and Rouges, the Kitsune, Reiko Steelstrike. The Bloodied Sword of the God of War, Loyset. The Crown of the Gods.>

"Nice!" I grin holding my new items.

"What are those?" Cercius asks.

"Well these are the daggers of the goddess of demons and rouges, this is the 'bloodied' sword of the god of war and this is the crown of the gods."

"Nice." Demetrius grins. "Maybe now you'll be able to beat us."

"Oh really?" I grin as well. "We'll see."

"We should start heading back." Cercius says.

"Mmm. Maybe." I fly to the portal. "Come on slowpokes!" I giggle.
