Chapter 26

A yellow haired boy could be seen walking faster with a heavy aura surrounded him into the Hokage's building then straight to the Hokage's office. Along his way there, almost all workers and shinobi who saw him walking passed them, gave him a menacing glare. Naruto of course realized this but he used to it and at some point he doesn't care anymore especially right now, 'cause he still mad at what Yoshi said to him.

Every single words that his friend said was somehow affected him. Since this was his first time having a real friend that he was closed to, he felt so mad that Yoshi doesn't want his help and asked him to stay back, made him felt useless, at least that's how it sounds to Naruto.

'What's wrong with telling Gramps about this! He can just solved everything with just a word, he's the Hokage after all!'

*Bang*

Arriving at the Hokage's office, he slammed the door opened, startling Hiruzen and the Anbus, almost sprang into action to jump on whoever did the noise. But once they saw the culprit, they hold their movement and relaxed their stance then went back to their guarding post. Naruto who was still mad walked to Hiruzen's desk and slammed his head on it causing some of the paper works to scattered around. On the other hand, the Hokage, Hiruzen had already stopped doing his work the moment Naruto came in and was paying full attention on every action of him, and Naruto who was oblivious to this kept grumbling and mumbling to himself.

A while later, Hiruzen let out a sigh. He was so confused and wondered as to why Naruto acted this way. The only thing he could think of was there must be something happened today or maybe on any other day, but surely it happened out of his supervision. So, he did the sensible things to do to fill in the blank, and that was, asked.

"Naruto, did something happened for you to act like this?" Hiruzen asked with a gentle and fatherly voice with a tint of concerned.

Naruto once heard the question, stopped dealing with his tantrum and gave full attention on answering the Hokage. When he was about to speak, he suddenly shut his mouth back and his face turned into those of thinking and contemplating face. He was considering whether to tell the Hokage or not. As he was thinking, the words of his friend, Yoshi suddenly came into mind and that's just made him really considered his decision carefully.

'Should I tell Gramps or not? I'm worried about Yoshi and I'm definitely sure that Gramps can do something about it, but at the same time, I'm afraid of what will Yoshi say if he find out. He said not to tell anyone about what happened. Will he be mad and not want to be friends with me anymore?'

"Does it have anything to do with Yoshi?" Hiruzen suddenly asked after realizing that he wouldn't be getting any answer from Naruto.

Naruto who heard this just nodded his head as a way to confirm Hiruzen's suspicion. He's still contemplating though, whether to tell Hiruzen the truth or not. But it's all soon answered as Hiruzen said his next words.

"Naruto, you know you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to. It's your choice anyway."

"It's not like I don't want to tell you, but I just can't because I made a promise with Yoshi. I'm sorry, Gramps." Naruto said back while making a sad face.

"Then, you better hold on to that promise. You don't want to upset Yoshi, right?"

Without waiting for an answer, he continued.

"Naruto, listen. I have a friend that I was closed to and I considered him as my loyal and trustful friend I could ever had. But then, all that went down when he betrayed my trust that I put on him and did something bad. Since then, I knew he began to fall into darkness even though he doesn't show it. Even so, I didn't pushed him away instead, I kept him close to my side and tried my best to pull him back from the darkness and hoping that one day, he will realized what he did wrong and come back to walk on the right path. It's kinda hard at first, but I won't give up until I get back my old friend that I knew long ago."

"Huuhhh? What are you talking about, Gramps? I don't understand what you just said, but it was surely long and complicated. Believe it!" Naruto said.

"Haha! I don't expect you to understand it now, but one day you surely will. Just remember this, Naruto. Once you gained someone trust, make sure you don't betray them. And if they straying from the right path, help them get back. Friends is important after all. Do you understand, Naruto?"

After Hiruzen finished speaking, Naruto stared at him with a blank face for a second before there was a wide smile on his face. He then said while giving the Hokage a thumb up.

"Yosh! It's kinda hard to get it all, but I understand a part of it. Don't worry, Gramps! I will never betray my friends and help them if they are in trouble. Believe it! Hehehe!"

Hiruzen just smiled at Naruto and hoping that one day he would actually become the person as per he said just now.

YOSHI'S POV

After a little argument with Naruto, I continued on my way on doing the things that I have planned for today. But first thing first, I need food. It's a miracle how I was able on holding up after missed both breakfast and lunch, or in other word not eating at all for half a day.

So, right now I was on my way to find some food. My appetite for dango had long gone 'cause of the incident that happened while ramen was off the list since I just ate them yesterday. Yeah, I could just go home and cook my own food but, nah. I'm too lazy to go home now, while I'm outside why not just treat myself, right?

Talking about food, there's not much place to eat be shown in the anime, so my knowledge in finding a good restaurant was steep. I'm not a picky eater but I still want to eat good food though I never have a chance to.

'I already went to dango shop and Ichiraku Ramen. The only place left that was popular in Naruto or most character went to that I knew, was Yakiniku Q. Though they're main dish was meat, I guess that would do for now. Sigh~'

With destination in mind, I walked there in a leisurely paced as to not want to waste my remained energies and drop dead in the middle of the road, that is if someone care to help. I'm sure someone will but I still have dignity.

Anyway after 30 minutes or so, I arrived at the said restaurant. Why 30 minutes? Well, because, one, I'm still not familiar with the roads here in the village and two, I simply don't know where the restaurant was so I have to asked around. When I arrived there, I quickly went to find an available seat for one and waiting for the waiter to come take my order.

Just when I thought I could relax and take a breather from the fights at the dango shop and the argument with Naruto, I met with someone that I didn't want to meet in the moment because I'm TIRED! The said person was....

"Hm? Yoshi you're here alone?"

....Kakashi...

"Oi, Kakashi! You're gonna treat us, right?"

....and his friends. Sigh~
