11 Chapter 11: Him?

"Who are you talking about?" I asked no longer able to contain my curiosity.

"The only God that remained neutral in the war." Prophecy said.

...

In a pavilion overlooking a large lake, the God of Stars sneezed.

"I must have caught a cold," he muttered.

"Don't be stupid. Gods can not catch colds."

"You are right. Only the Almighty could do something as miraculous as catching a cold. Indeed the powers of the Almighty defy logic." Stars responded, taking a sip of his tea.

Speechless at the logic he used, Time did not know how to respond.

...

"He is the most irritating person you will ever meet. If you ask him to try something then he goes around in circles telling you why he can not do what was asked of him. The worst part is that you don't understand anything he says so you can not think of a way to respond." Wrath said. He wanted to continue with his rant but found that he was out of breath. Stars was probably the only person he hated. And it wasn't just his attitude that was the problem.

"But the tea he serves is quite nice," Raff added. Everyone turned to look at him. "What? It is good."

...

After finishing a cup of tea and pouring another for himself, Stars asked, "Why are you here?"

Snapping out of his trance, Time replied, "I need you to bring me to the Astral Temple." He needed to get there soon before they could recover enough mana to escape.

"Well I would do so but then I would miss my tea time. You see I can only drink my tea here because the fish here are very colorful. Their scales shine ever so beautifully when the light hits them. I can not abandon the fish because the flowers around the pavilion like to eat and be eaten by them. So ..."

3 Hours later...

Without knowing it, Time was back at his mansion.

Nearing the end of his lecture, Stars said, "Therefore, griffins have feathers and that is why I can't help you. Oh would you look at the time, I am late for my 50th pot of tea. Bye!" With that, he slammed the door leaving Time who was still trying to comprehend what was said to him. Just then a thought occurred to Time: did I just get kicked out by Stars?

No, that wouldn't ... why is the door locked? Is it even designed to be locked?

How did I, Time, the most powerful God (not considering the Almighty) get tricked by someone who spends all his time drinking tea? How utterly infuriating!

Letting out a long sigh, he goes to find a window. The door will open from the outside anyway.
