17 Hinata 2.0 POV's and bad match-up

****Neji POV****

Frankly the first exam was too easy, even if you didn't do any question you could pass. I was hoping to have a little more challenge, the second exam was right up what i wanted. Our team took the first day to collect food and water after that we decided to scoot the forest for a few hours before coming back to our meeting location.

While i was using my byakugan in reconnaissance, i suddenly recognized a very familiar chakra signature but it was really weak. It definitely was Hinata, but how could she be in such a situation that she would have no more chakra at all?

Just as i finally arrived on the scene i could see Naruto and Sasuke fending off to Oto ninja while one was trying to approach Hinata chan probably to take her hostage. I saw red and dropped before the girl slamming a palm strike right in her gut, like that she should be out of it for the rest of the examination. The girl flew right on the back of the boy who could send shock wave out of his hand.

In the end the group of Oto gave up their scroll so we would let them go i was reluctant till Sasuke told me it was the one they were missing. I had the two sit down to explain to me how Hinata the princess of the Hyuga clan could have ended up in this stat.

I had no choice but to forgive them after all the had fought with and S rank missing nin and Hinata was the one being reckless in that fight. I overheard Naruto asking what they should do with the spare sky scroll at the moment i was going to go. I suggested them a trade my team would escort them and they would give us the scroll. That was hitting two birds with one stone, after all i was still worried about Hinata .

I easily convinced Tenten and Lee to do that. Tenten was worried about Hinata who was from what she said the only girl who understood weapons beside herself. Lee said he had a debt to repay to Hinata for having helped him in the pass and he would have helped even without the scroll. Therefore we go our two scrolls and finished the second exam without much of a fight i was happy to have helped.

****Neji POV end****

****Sana POV****

Damn that snake bastard since he bite me on the first day of the second exam i have been beside myself. I am barely able to mix any chakra and i am hurting everywhere. He even burned our scroll and i was not sure we could get two more.

By the end of the day i had rescued a redheaded girl who had the earth scroll, she was so thankful she gave it to me on the spot. I told her she should go hide, if she didn't want to die, for the rest of this examination.

Later when i found Junichiro and Hiruki the two boys looked excited and told me they had recovered a sky scroll that was lying on the floor. We now had the two scroll needed to participate in the next part. We ran to the tower while i asked how they found that scroll on the ground since it looked fishy a bit. They told me that Hiruki was going to go relieve himself in the bush when he found the scroll just lying around unguarded.

I looked at the scroll and tried to see if it was not an henge with my sharingan but nothing was there. The cursed mark started to burn like crazy so i stopped. Hiruki luck, maybe it is just out of this world? I managed to rest a bit before the next part, if i ever see this snake guy later i will make sure to beat the living hell out of him.

Author note : good luck with that he will not do anything while Hinata is near him.

**** Maki POV****

This exam was simply too easy on the first day we met a team from Kiri who tried to rob us, but i subdued them all into a genjutsu. We just had to go to the tower with the opposite scroll we got from them. Life's a breeze some time i just hope Hinata don't meet with any trouble.

****Sakura POV****

We were lucky enough to have gotten the opposite scroll to our own on the first day in the forest, with the help of Shino bugs. Kiba was a little too hype for my taste but we were going good. Well until we had to hide from Suna team with that Gaara guy in it. God damn it, that guy is strong he instantly crushed a team of Ame, leaving them with their live only, after crushing legs and arms.

The creepiest thing is, i was sure at one point he had discovered us but he didn't attack us and followed his two sibling to the tower. While all of that was happening he didn't seem to feel anything, but he had a peaceful smile all the time on his face. We waited a while after they left and then we followed suit.

****Gaara POV****

That forest was quite the nice place all the animal around weren't scared of me like they usually do. We ended up getting the scroll we needed on the very first day only a little more than an hour after the beginning of the second phase. I broke the legs and arms of those guys who attacked us from Ame but i did it cleanly so they can heal overtime time.

While we were going to depart, i remarked a group from Konoha with a pink haired girl she was quite cute. A boy of the same group had a wolf and a dog. I wonder if father would allow me to keep a pup? A normal pup might be too scared of me to stay beside me because of the chakra of bijuu inside me, but maybe one of those ninja dog from Konoha could do? I heard the Inuzuka raised ninja dog all year round, maybe father could convince the Hokage to talk with the Inuzuka for me? Oh well, let go on anyway, i will ask father about this later.

In the end 8 team made it alive out of the forest of death. That mean 24 participants for the third phase of the chunin exam. The team from Oto was not there, i guess they didn't end up finding another scroll but this time around there was only so many scrolls out since only 20 team had passed the first exam. This was still too many for the last exam so we would have to have a little tournament. Before it Kabuto that damned bastard had given up. But following closely being Junichiro did so as well.

-Damn it, Jun don't you have any pride about being a Yamanaka?

-Nan, if i had pride i would not have become a ninja princess Ino.

I could see Ino fuming from that, she was really angry at this little cousin of her. I felt Shikamaru wanted to quit too, but was too scared about what Ino would do to him if he did. I had woken up a few hours prior to the beginning of the third test. I thanked sincerely Neji team for helping mine in time of need. Now, i was just looking over Orochimaru disguise, that guy was harder to kill then a roach how did he survive my attack was impossible to think about for me. I had changed half a kilometer of ground in the death forest, mainly making it into a desert, trying to kill him and he miraculously survived it.

You have to give prop where it is needed he has the most survivability of all strong enemies i had met so far. Wait maybe that should be Obito? I had touched him with a futon rasenshuriken directly still i thins surviving the scorch version was harder even the rashomon doors had vanished from the attack.

Oh seem like Hiruzen has finished his little speech about the fact this is supposed to be a mini war. Guess we will see some action now. I still was keeping and eye on Orochimaru no way am i going to leave him at his own device.

****Orochimaru POV****

After coming back it was already time for the third test but some preliminary round would be in effect since there was too many participants. My team from Oto had not made the cut, but i was still invited to assist the preliminary since i was already there lucky i guess. Well i also had to attribute it to my foolish master wanting to appear friendly to me. If only that terrifying girl could stop staring my way i would have a better day.

Seriously since when did the Hyuga become such fearsome ninja? In my time they barely made the cut to jounin but now that girl could go equal to equal with a sannin. Did the world change that much while i was not looking? I hope i am still part of the strong ones and have not already become last day new. I need to put my hand on those magnificent Uchiha genes, then i will be unmatched.

I felt a cold shiver, i looked over that girl she was still staring me down hahaha. Maybe, i should run before it is too late but she would not use that technique here of all place no? And she didn't know my identity anyway so no way will she attack me now hahaha. That still didn't felt convincing, i will need to scare off a few of my subordinates later to cheer myself up.

The first match was Sana with the teammate of Kabuto. I didn't remember his name but he could apparently absorb chakra. Since i had remarked the cursed mark on Sana neck i go worried about her and told her to be careful with her chakra consumption during the match to which she responded by a glare. Sana never liked me much but she would still train with me and Sasuke whenever she had the opportunity telling me that even if she didn't like me i was a good match for her to become stronger.

I don't know if i like my friend girlfriend to see me as a stepping stone, for her to one death kill my friend brother, now kinslayer, because of an old fart that had corrupted the Uchiha clan with a poisonous genjutsu. Is that too complicated? Maybe a bit but anyway i didn't care too much she had her reason and i felt guilty for her having lost he mother because i didn't save her.

I just hope she don't end on Sasuke original story road that would be lame as hell if she became Orochimaru apprentice just to kill him years later. Anyway once i had the power to do so i would make it happen myself. I therefore call dib on Orochimaru first death. What i can't do that well my friend i just did it and no one is going to complain about that old bastard dying and don't go talking about his supposedly child Mitsuki at worst he can be brought back using the cursed mark no biggie and Boruto is officially not going to be born, since i am definitely not going to give Naruto a child and even in the event i did, i would not call him Boruto that way too lame of a name.

Yeah i always felt the Naming sense of the mc of the Narutoverse was lame well Naruto was not that bad, but Boruto was just lame i would have called him Minato or something, heck even Menma was a better name. Anyway Sana match did go pretty much as the one Sasuke had in the manga story but rather then looking at Lee like Sasuke she looked a me before having a declic apparently.

Next thing she did was beat up the guy into tomorrow before departing with her sensei to get the cursed mark sealed. But before departing she stopped and thanked me.

Yeah the usual Uchiha language, one of those day i will try to learn it. I was not worried too much she had Sasuke even if those two loved to hate Itachi at less they had each other.I thought it would be alright like that i could not have predicted all the shit that this would become. Later in my life i would look back on it and think how naive i was to have been deceived by a mere grunt.

The next match followed, it was Haku again Sakura. My two good friend battled it out a lot Sakura trying to punch him out of consciousness was rather an amusing display until she started using power punch to blow Haku mirrors. Creating on the ground some more ice to reduce Sakura movement Haku actually dug his own grave, once Sakura tried to move to him she slipped fist first smashing the ground in he wake. In second hundred of rocks the size of someone head were going rampant everywhere.

-Wait what??? Ah!!! Sakura stop it, i give i give !!!

The judge had moved away and i entered the ground to check on Sakura. She had fainted away i gave Haku an amused smile. Giving up to a girl that had already lot because of fear that was not that new the boy had seen what his mother and female classmate could do once angry, it was not that hard to imagine why he gave up now. It just his deadpan face was adorable if i may say so.

-Haku had already given up so it is still Sakura win i presume?

-Well technically you are right but…

-Technically? I gave the man a voracious smile, the kind carnivore gave to their prey before pouncing.

-Well she pass take her out the the arena, anyway next match on, cought cought.

Girl power, maximum power! Yes when a girl give you a death glare do remember to back down or you are in for a serious and painful experience.

I let down Sakura back to the wall so she could recover from her match. She had fainted probably because some rock hit her square in the head while falling. Haku had given up to easily but next time that will teach him to not underestimate Sakura or any other girl for the matter. It was now time for the third match.

It ended before i could even see it. Hiruki won again Ryota, that one was still holding his crotch while foaming at the mouth. Did the brat beat his elder by kicking him in that spot? I looked around to see all the male audience having a blue face therefore i came down to look at Ryota the poor guy.

-Ryota aniki i am so sorry please forgive me. I just tripped over my scarf, i am so sorry.

Oh so that was what happened guess luck is part of one ninja skill too. I took one potion from my item scroll and gave it to the poor boy so his injury would not cause permanent damage, it would be bad if his future girlfriend could not have any chibi to care about because of it. Well that would heal the damage but not stop the pain, so i had his sensei take him out himself.
