8 Chapter 8

  Finally getting everything done Dante took out his keys from his pocket and realized that he hadn't give back Lilly's wallet, taking a look inside to see if there was anything important and when he saw that her license was in her Wallet he decided to go and visit her place.

  While on the road he suddenly realized that he didn't know her address...picking up Lilly's phone he dialed for his number and called her.

The phone rung about 4 times and was quickly picked up by Lilly, "hey, do you need something?"

  "Your address, I forgot to give you your wallet and I'm pretty sure you need it to drive right?" Dante asked.

  "It's not far from your place, it's in Rosewood, number 304 the first house to your right. I made some food knowing that you would come over to bring my wallet, since you didn't get to eat anything do you want to take it with you?" Lilly asked her voice seemed crack.

"Are you crying?" Dante asked his voice very softly.

  Just as he asked this he reached Lilly's place she walked out and looked at the beautiful sunset, wishing that he could so spend more time with his girl but his grandfather was calling him back and he need to go.

  Slowly opening the door the first thing that coughs his attention was Lilly walking towards him with 3 blue lunch boxes and she wore a light blue apron. A smile crawled up to Dante's face he then reached for Lilly and kissed her forehead, after that he let her go and handed her wallet, took the 3 lunch boxes, and kissed her bye.

  After sending him off Lilly looked down at Dante's phone and noticed that the line was still connected so she tried calling him. Hearing her saying hello or are you there made Dante amused for a full minute he didn't say anything and continued to listen to Lilly's voice but as soon as she said I'm hanging up Dante started to say something time to time he would take bites of the food that Lilly prepared for him.

  As the Stars were coming out of hiding Dante finished one of the lunch boxes and continued to talk to Lilly, the two talk about different things like why Dante wanted to join the military when he was at a young age or why Lilly had surgery at a young age.

  "When do you arrive at the base camp?"

   "A few more hours, why do you want to hang up?" Dante asked cheekily.

  Imagining that she was right beside him right now Dante licked his lips and slightly giggled, he then face timed her and wanted to see what she looked like at this very moment.

  "How's my phone treating you?" Lilly asked opening the camera, she then giggled and pulled her hair down and sat on her bed comfortably.

  "great, but it kinda feels heavier with my phone case on it." Dante then showed his pearl white rows of teeth drove at a steady  pace.

  For another 2 hours Lilly and Dante continued to talk, Lilly brought back her dinner in her room while Dante ate the second lunch box full of meat especially beef, while Lilly ate her spaghetti that only took her a few minutes to make. The meat was tender and juicy and every second that he ate he would complement her culinary skills. When Dante finally reached the base he closed face time and placed the phone directly to his ears and listened to Lilly cleaning her plates with a smile on his face as he walked down the hall of base bring stares at him, the cold and elegant general was smiling while talking on the phone...he had never smiled not even when he speaks to his own mother nor little sister.

  The look in his seemed like he was in love? he only headed out for 2 days and he already met a woman that he loved? When Lilly finished up she started to talk and asked Dante what he would do when he comes back, she then suggested that they go somewhere that had a shooting rang where she could practice her aims.

  Hearing her saying this Dante laughed and suggested that they go hunting which was quickly agreed by Lilly making him break out into another laugh, after reaching his destination Date told Lilly go get some rest while goes and meet his grandfather.

   "Good night babe, I'll talk to you tomorrow and when I get the chance I'll call." Dante said good night and waited for Lilly to say something back to him but on the other line he could hear a light breathing at a steady pace and he knew that Lilly had fallen asleep not long after they stopped talking.

  "Gramps, I'm back." Dante said said opening the doors he then stepped in and was met by a happy old man.

  "So you've been seeing someone?" the old man asked with a sly smile plastered on his face, he then stood up and raised his eyebrow.

  "Don't mess with her Gramps, not only is she different from other girls she is also a person who gets her revenge for all those who try to test her...her older brother was one of them and at that time she was only 7, she destroyed all of his things. I suggest that you just meet her face to face and talk to her, she'll be happy to meet you. You also don't want to mess with her nor make her cry her friends are scary, the most scariest one would be Jeana." Dante said now knowing why his grandpa called him back in such a rush.

  He wanted to talk about Lilly, one of the guys must've said something to tip him off. Now he actually seemed sad to have seen Lilly cry, who could blame him? his grandfather's assistant, Caleb seemed really serious. Dante stared at his grandpa and sighed he then asked his grandpa if he only called him back to ask question him about Lilly.

  "Yea, but the worse you could've done was made her cry...wait you made her cry? Dante you made her cry?! do you know who their grandfather from their mom's side was?!" Micheal asked shocked he then stood up sighed loudly, "son you two just started dating and you've already made her cry...oh I'm going to die, I'm going to die."

  "Gramps chill...how are you going to die? Lilly is a sweet gal, and I know that she'll be happy when I tell her that I still have a few more weeks to spend time together." Dante said very honestly he then reached for Lilly's phone and started to dial down his number, but before he could press call his grandpa took the phone away and shook his head.
