5 Chapter 5

After Lilly talked to Dante's mom she opened the back door and waved bye, she felt stupid that she didn't recognize this house belonged to the prestigious military family and she always visits this place for goodness sakes she deliver dresses personally to Camilla Jones.

"Who would've thought that you were the one mom continued to pester me to see...I mean I'm really glad that it's you." Dante said showing his pearl white rows of teeth.

"Yea, I'm glad that the charming son she kept on going about was you too..." Lilly giggled hiding her deep brown eyes with her crescent moon smile.

Suddenly remembering that her little porcupine's plane got back from the states Lilly smiled, excited to hear the news that she brought back, Lilly then told Antonio to drive to Central City's airport quickly to pick up Jeana.

Just as they arrived at the airport Lilly spotted a booth of flowers, she noticed that Jeana's favorite flowers were brightly bloomed so she slowly walked up to the booth and bought the poppy flowers for her best friend and headed inside to look for her best friend.

Finally seeing her best friend Jeana ran up to Lilly and knocked her down causing Lilly to bang her head loudly on the hard floor.

"Hey...I missed you." Lilly said hugging her best friend tightly, she then groaned slightly feeling dizzy from being knocked down by her little porcupine.

Seeing his sister in pain Antonio picked up Jeana and moved her away he then checked to see if Lilly was fine, he sat his sister up and turned her head side to side to check if she is really okay.

"Why is he so worked out about this?" Dante asked completely confused at Antonio's out burst.

"She had surgery when she was 14, it left a scar on both her and her family members especially Antonio who was the closest to her...that's why he thought her boxing and shooting targets." Jeana explained slightly mad at herself that she knocked down Lilly so hard on the floor.

"Toni, I'm fine, but if you continue to shake my head I will punch you with all my strength." Lilly said weakly but she wanted to see her brother smile so she playfully punched him, she then massaged her her temples lightly and closed her eyes.

"Hey wanna go and hang at Old Park before we go to the mall?" Antonio asked smiling brightly at Lilly's silliness.

Nodding her head very quickly Lilly looked up at Dante and once again showed him her crescent moon smile, seeing this smile Dante smiled back. Seeing the two interacting like this Jeana pushed Dante towards Lilly and pulled Antonio to her side wanting to have a conversation with him.

To be honest Jeana and Lilly grew up together but that didn't mean that the two always saw eye to eye especially when it came to the guys that Lilly dated. Lilly had always pick the guys who were a total douche bag but Jeana was always the first to try to cheer her up, especially with her 3rd ex who we shall never name not now not ever. When the two had broken up she cried for weeks, the very first person who she texted was Jeana and she even cried on her shoulders so many times that most of her favorite clothes were dirtied with Lilly's snot and tears.

But the guy standing in front of them right now who makes Lilly smile with every ounce in his body and that made Jeana really happy that Lilly hadn't dated any one for 10 years but Mr perfect just shows up in front of her making Jeana very proud of her best friend who looked very happy.

"I like him, what about you?" Jeana asked looking at Lilly and Dante who smiled at each other lovingly while saying nothing to one another.

"He tamed her...he tamed the tiger." Antontio gawked.

"Hey, what are the two of you doing? let's get going!" Lilly yelled looking back at Jeana and Antonio who clearly weren't moving at all.

"Coming!" the two cried following after Lilly and Dante who were already 10 feet ahead of them.

Reaching Antonio's car Lilly sat in the back with Dante and waited for the slow pokes to arrive, as Jeana and Antonio finished putting everything in the car the two noticed Dante's right hand over Lilly's neck. Getting in the car Antonio drove out of the central city airport and headed to Old Park the whole ride Dante told stories about how he spent his time in camp which made Lilly crack up once in awhile and the two in the front felt left out.

Just as they arrived at Old Park Dante stepped out and helped Lilly out of the car and casually held hands together talking about what was happening to the into their life for such a long time and Lilly also told him about the one person that she didn't want to talk about but when Dante questioned her about her past she felt like there was no need to hide anything from him.

   After she finished talking it felt like the weight on her shoulders lightened up. Then Lilly looked up to Dante and gave him a weak smile, he didn't say anything for awhile but Lilly understood that he was trying to process the information into his head.

   " Let's never bring him up again alright...I don't want to see you giving me such a weak smile every time you talk about him." Dante finally said something, and the first thing he said was this so that Lilly wouldn't be sad.

He gently held her hand and kissed it lightly on the top, he wanted to have this wonderful, strong, and independent woman.

"Let's date," Dante said, "I know I'll only be here time to time but I really want the two of us together through all the ups and downs."

Hearing him say he wanted to be together Lilly started to feel light headed, for 6 years she never dated anyone but when Dante suggested this Lilly quickly nodded her head without a second thought.

As the two leaned in to kiss they were both stopped by Jeana and Antonio who popped out of nowhere.
