18 Chapter 018 | LexCorp

In one of the largest City in the World, Lex is standing on the top floor of his newly acquired Company called "LexCorp" it's basically an AeroSpace Engineering Company.

Right now, Lex is building his Company and expanding his criminal activities, he hasn't gotten into the higher contacts like the Military and Politicians.

Lex has been in SSR's radar, but a Special Soldier is on his way to London to combat the Axis, after Abraham Erskine's death, the SSR has lost all Prestige, Respect, and including Funding.

"We are finally here, Mr. Rodgers!"

Said Erskine, as they saw a pretty average Convenient Store, Steve has a little nervous look on his face, countless thoughts immediately appeared inside his mind.

"Don't be so nervous, Mr. Rodgers, we will take care of you and make sure you don't die or something."

Commented, Abraham Erskine, they both got out of the Car, and a group of men with strong, mainly appearance starts to guide them down the building.

"This gives me the mystery vibes!"

Commented, Steve the men didn't laugh nor tell Steve where they are at, Dr. Abraham Erskine just chuckled with a smile on his face, waiting to blow Rodger's mind.

*Ding!*

The hidden elevator appears, and the group of people walks in with stoic looks on their faces, a short, brown-haired woman with blossom lips and beautiful porcelain skin is beside Steve.

He look at his right side, and he smiles, seeing that same, cold and calculated look on her face, Peggy was annoyed, as she turns back towards Steve.

"You should be serious about this Steve, if this experiment fail, the Allies will be doomed, and the Third Reich will slaughter all of us and survive."

Said Peggy in a cold tone, as the atmosphere immediately became serious and tense, Rodgers has a determined gaze in his eyes, as the elevator door rings.

*Ding!*

"Welcome, Mr. Rodgers to our secret HQ, this is the base, where the SSR develop medicine, weapons, new neurological activities for the brain, etc."

Commented Abraham Erskine, as they both walk inside, Steve was amazed, as he began to look around, Steve saw various Scientists and Politicians waiting inside.

"This is the group, that will help us with the experiment, they are very talented and experienced, you can trust the Scientists, also on the top railings, their the group of Politicians."

"You don't need to know about them yet, it's best if you don't associate yourself with those Greedy, egotistical assholes, their are few people you can trust, Steve, besides since the War has started, the Politicians have shown their true colors."

Explained Abraham, Steve listens with seriousness, as this information Erskine is telling him is very valuable information that he is going to tell Lex.

"Hah!"

"Hello, Mrs. Carter, your beauty is something special, you can even make the coldest of men's heart feel warm."

Commented Howard Stark, as he walks over to Peggy with full of confidence, Peggy has an annoyed look on her face, Howard has done this plenty of times.

"You shouldn't play around, Howard, this issue is very critical, and I don't want you to distract with such inappropriate and perversive thoughts."

"Oh, you care about me!"

*Sigh!*

Peggy sighs, she can never take Howard seriously, and even if he is serious, it is rare and sometimes it's about what kind of girl rejects him in such.

Steve seeing this uncomfortable interaction, decides to butt in.

*Cough!*

Howard stops teasing Peggy and looks at Steve with a surprise look in his eyes, he thought the next Super Soldier would be big and bulky and such, not some man, who could be blown away with just a simple sneeze.

"Hi, sorry to interrupt, my name is Steve Rodgers, nice to meet you, Howard Stark!"

Said Steve, as he pulls out his hand in front to shake Howard's hand, Howard seeing this smiles, and shakes his with his trademark smirk on his face.

"So, Mr. Rodgers, you're the man that we are going to experiment on."

Said Howard, as he begins to grasp the kind of "person" Steve is, as Howard continues to analyze Steve, this makes the young Steve feel totally exposed and also uncomfortable.

*Cough!*

"Mr. Stark, what do I have to look out for during this experiment?"

Meanwhile.

"That's the Super Soldier, it seems like he hasn't eaten for days, and will he even survive the needle injections of this experiment?"

Said one of the Politicians, as he looked down at Steve, who is talking to Howard and Dr. Abraham Erskine.

"We tried to the Abraham Erskine about this, but you know how prideful and pacifistic he can be, after what happened to Red Skull, he has the rights to carefully pick a pure-hearted man with pure morals."

"Anyway, I just hope, that he can pull a miracle off!"

Said the Colonel, as they looked back down at Steve.

10 minutes has passed, Steve is inside the Steel Pod, Howard and Abraham Erskine is behind the desk working the controls, Peggy is standing by nervously, while waiting for the experiment to began.

"You okay, Steve, let's start the experiment!"

Said Howard, as he turns on the Machine, immediately the small needles punctures Steve's small body, infusing every bit of his cells with immense energy, Steve's body is shaking.

*Aaaaaah!!*

A terrifying scream came from the Pod, Howard was about to turn the experiment off, when he hears a voice full of determination and conviction.

"Don't stop! I can do it!"

Yelled Steve inside the Pod, as he was breathing heavily, but his Will to survive was stronger than the pain he was going through.

"It's time to open up the Pod!"

Yelled Abraham Erskine, as he orders Howard to open up the Pod.
