16 16-The Test of the Strongest Part 3

Amidst that Chaotic Battlefield between the Prisoners and the Monsters, The Sound of Metal hitting each other, The Screams in the Background, The Monsters devouring the dead bodies, And why would there be Metals hitting each other? A question was answered when one of the prisoners killed another prisoner with his sword. The moment the Monsters stop attacking, The humans went haywire and began attacking other humans.

A Loud tap in the ground was heard, The Chains hitting each other, And the Breath of the Monster. The War that went in Humans vs Humans vs Monsters stopped, The Whole Ancient Stadium was in silence. The Tap of the ground became louder as time passes by. The Human Hybrid Dogs stopped devouring the dead bodies and went back to the Giant Iron Gates.

The monsters were retreating but does it count as a victory? The Humans that were previously fighting each other stopped. The Crazy Humans that went haywire began running towards the Giant Iron Gate. It was not known why but they still ran as if it was the exit. The Prisoners seeing the crazies running towards their oblivion wanted to stop them but seeing how they kill their fellow humans. The Prisoners knew that they were beyond help.

"Help!" The Crazy Prisoners shouted to the Giant Iron Gates, They were 3 of them running to their deaths. Possibly due to trauma, they became crazy and killed the prisoners with them. The Crazy Prisoners were smiling when they manage to pass through the Giant Iron Gates, They smiled until something happened.

A Giant Hand appeared from their side, It was heading towards them at a great speed. It didn't plan on stopping and the Crazy Prisoners didn't have time to avoid the big hand. It happened very fast and the Prisoners saw it clearly, The Giant Hand that was heading towards the Prisoners. A while later, A sound was heard.

*Splat*

It echoed in the Ancient Stadium, The Wall that was hit with the Giant Hand was bloodied. The Bones and Flesh were stick and slowly slide off the wall. Although the wall was hit by the Giant Hand, It seems to be unaffected. Cracks could be seen but other than that, The wall didn't show a sign of breaking.

The Prisoners were frozen, Seeing such frightening sight in front of them was not a good thing. Thankfully, they already saw many more bloody things before the current situation. They manage to gain control of their bodies in the next second, All of them knew that they would have to fight the monster.

"It's a big one, bigger than what I expected." Leo muttered as his eyes turn called, There was a possibility that this monster would be a 2nd Mana Core Rank. A monster that could possibly comparable to Captain Insanis, Leo hopes that this wouldn't happen since it would destroy the whole point of the test.

The Monster was slowly seen, A 10 meter Behemoth appeared in front of them. It was a Huge Human Hybrid Dog, The Prisoners were shaken and some of them even gulped. They didn't want to die so they had to fight for their survival. The Dead bodies were still around the Ancient Stadium, Some of the bodies were very deformed that even most of the prisoners cannot remember their human counter parts.

Alex, who was right beside Leo already made her move. She began running towards the Monster at great speed. Arriving in front of the Giant Monster, Alex's Katana slowly exited its sheath. The leg was the first target of the Katana, The Giant Human Hybrid looked like crawling humans. The Existence of hands and legs still exist, the weird thing about them was the body and the unknown tail that looks scary.

Rushing at a fast speed, The Katana manages to have contact with the skin of the Human Hybrid Dog. It went through the skin and began its way to the bones, The Flesh was very strong and the Katana was forced to stop halfway. It didn't penetrate anything and the Human Hybrid Dog didn't care about the cut in its legs.

The Human Hybrid Dog began using its Giant Hand to slap Alex but it seems that Alex already retreated the moment her attack didn't work. The Giant Hand just slap the ground and Alex who attacked the Huge Human Hybrid Dog was back at her place before the attack. Leo, who was right next to her was clearly surprised at what he saw.

"You're very strong, Unexpected to see someone this strong here." Leo muttered while staring at the Giant Monster, It seems to be bothered by its legs. While staring at the Giant Monster, Leo was expecting some kind of regeneration but after a while of waiting. The Big Cut in the Leg was still there, It seems that the attack work and the Regeneration wasn't a problem.

While Leo was thinking about the monster, He turns his head and saw Alex staring at him with her Red Crimson Eyes. It was empty and the only thing Leo could see was Chaos, Something that was very bad. Deep inside her red eyes was something that could make an ordinary Human feel fear but Leo countered her stare.

The Blue Azure and the Red Crimson Eyes were staring at each other, Auras began forming and a Huge Stomp on the ground was heard. Leo and Alex stopped staring at each other and turn their heads, They saw the Giant Monster staring at the two of them. Its ugly and deformed face seems to want to have its revenge.

"Now let's stop staring at each other and take care of the problem in front of us." Leo said with a smile towards Alex. Alex still maintained her Cold and stoic expression. She nodded in agreement, and peace was made between the two of them. Their own problems will be taken care of later but the Huge Monster in front of them had to die.

"It seems that you agree."

"Attention!" Leo shouted. His voice echoed in the Ancient Stadium, The Prisoners hearing Leo began turning their gaze towards him. They saw a Pitch Black haired Prisoner with Blue Azure eyes. Leo seeing that attention on him knew that it was time, He then began standing upright.

"Let's make a plan, If you want to survive you will need to follow the plan."

"The Plan consists of killing the Giant Monster in front of us, It seems to be in chained but judging from how it is moving. The Chains are slowly breaking, This would mean that the Giant Monster would be free to attack us from everywhere in the Ancient Stadium."

"I and Alex will Fight the Boss all alone, We don't want anything to try to attack the boss. Alex and I just hope that you will be the ones that would fight the Little Monsters. We don't know their exact numbers but it is proven that they have more numbers than us prisoners."

"Do you agree with this Plan?" Leo spoke towards the Prisoners, Alex raised an eyebrow and stares at Leo with Cold Eyes. Leo seeing the stare just smiles and didn't bother it. The Prisoners began talking to each other, The Huge Monster was having a hard time in the background.

All of them knew who Alex and Leo were, They sometimes saw them fighting the monsters. All of the prisoners knew that the two were good at fighting the monsters. They have the confidence to fight the Huge Monster, Most would probably agree but some would obviously not agree.

"Why do you want to fight the Huge Monster Alone? If all of us attacks the monster together, We would have a chance to beat the monster." A Big Muscular Golden-Haired man spoke. He had an Axe as his weapon and it seems that he was not good at making Leo and Alex fight the monster. Hearing him, Leo just shook his head. He knew that some couldn't agree but they had to do this.

"Because Alex and I have a huge chance of killing the Huge Monster." Leo sighed. It seems that he had to explain the whole reason. Explaining it would be a waste of time and with the Huge Monster in the background. It was better for them to not waste time and attack the monster immediately.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't want to sound arrogant but all of you are just wasting your time on trying to fight the monster. I and Alex have speed as our main focus, We are also strong so our attacks could damage the monster. We can calculate each monster's attack easily since the two of us are the only targets."

"Two Targets means easy to calculate. The Monster is obviously very slow, there is no reason to waste lives since the Little Monsters are still alive. Alex can move fast in a second while my agility is one of the main attributes of strength. We could dodge the monster and can keep the situation easy to see unlike a Chaotic War between the Huge Monster and the Prisoners."

The Five Prisoners that was obviously the strongest among the prisoners nodded in understanding, Their weapons were not good for fighting fast. Some of them can be fast but they don't have the strength to damage the monster. It was better for the two to attack the Huge Monster, Nothing unexpected would come, and instead of swarming. It was better to swarm the little ones instead of attacking and killing themselves from the Huge Monster.

But did the reason stop at that?

'To be honest, This may sound greedy but I don't want anyone to kill stealing my hard work. I can monitor Alex easily than dozens of individuals.' Leo thought to himself. He could guess that the Experience he can get from the Huge Monster is enough to Level up to Level 3. This was the only chance he had in order to get Level 3, The Little ones are just weak and small in numbers.

'Aud, What can I get in Level 5?' Leo asked. It was obvious after playing many games. The Level 5s are like a level that could give something important. It was just a guess but judging from the fact that some of the options were unlocked, Leo knew that he needed to reach Level 5 in order to open at least some of them.

'Interesting Rewards.' Leo thought while staring at the interface in front of him, His brain was going at great speed. He wanted to check the Rewards and analyze them but there was a problem in front of him. A huge monster is about to break free and it was time for him to harvest some experience.

"I understand, We will back you up when the Little Monsters bother." Douglas nodded. He understood the reasoning of Leo. Although it sounded like Leo was arrogant, It was sensible reasoning. The Other prisoners also nodded when they saw Douglas nodding towards Leo.

"Are you ready?" Leo asked Alex, He was clenching his 2 Daggers. He was staring at Alex who was right beside him, He wanted an answer and Leo just guesses that Alex would nod. But reality was often surprising, A Soft but Cold Voice was heard. This Voice came from Alex herself.

"You dragged me into this." Alex said with a cold tone. The Guy in front of her was just deciding everything, The reasoning made sense but that doesn't mean that Alex would just let Leo take the help. Leo saw the Crimson Red eyes of Alex, He was surprised at what he saw.

"Hmmm, So you can speak." Leo muttered, He was smiling and the girl in front of him can speak which is surprising. Alex's eyes became colder, The guy in front of her was thinking about different things. Leo noticing the cold aura just shook his head and spoke towards Alex.

"Sorry for deciding everything, You can have the helm if you can take it." Leo had a grin on his face and charges towards the Huge Monster. Alex hearing him also began charging towards the Huge Monster. The Prisoners began retreating from the Large monster in order to not disturb the two.

The Fight between the Two humans and the Huge Monster began....
