12 12-One month

A month has passed since Leo receive the Daily Quest from the Leveling System, During that time. Leo kept working hard to make himself stronger even without the Leveling System. Although it was slower than the Leveling growth, Leo still found it useful if he doesn't have anything to do. Leo was also training his Basic Martial Arts. Leo keeps gaining Skill Experience during the Basic Martial Arts training.

Skill Experience is somehow different from Experiences. According to what Leo manage to read in the notifications, There were many types of experience. The First one is Experience, It was the Experience that was needed to Level up. The Second one is Class Experience, the kind of thing that was only possible via training, Although Leo can't see the process. The Last or Known Third one is the Skill Experience, It was also training the skill by using it many times. Each of them is different and some of them could be gain using normal means like training.

After a month, Leo's Basic Martial Arts has been upgraded into Elite Martial Arts after training for one month. Leo gained 8 Levels during the training, He then proceeds to use the Skill Points. He didn't know if this was called an exploit but it was very useful for Leo. As the Skill Experience that was needed had gotten more as the level increases. Leo had to use the Skill points.

Elite Martial Arts were very powerful, With the skill ingrained in Leo's mind. He could see the weakness of the Basic Martial Arts. Leo knew that training this skill normally would take years so he needed to level up and gained some Skill points. Speaking about it, The Attributes of Leo has passed the 1 level. This would mean that his attributes are at peak human level.

Leo's daily quest for 30 days or one month gave Leo 0.6 attributes. It was small unlike the effort he had to use but this was only 1 month. The possibility of the training is infinite since it won't lower as he got stronger. With this fact, Most Leo's stats are peak level. Even his intelligence increase for some unknown reason. Did he get smarter during the training? Leo was confused but it was accepted since it was better than nothing.

Leo was very powerful, 5 times more powerful than before. Even with this fact, Leo knew that he would need more in order to beat Captain Insanis. He already calculated the possibility of Captain Insanis being a second Mana Core rank. Second Mana Core rank could possibly be 10 attributes in Leo's understanding. The Mana core rank won't get more than that since training was the only thing that could make them stronger.

There is also the possibility of Magic, Captain Insanis was stronger than him. Captain in the Military was also a good comparison, Insanis was someone that would lead soldiers with him. He would probably be far from normal, This was what made Leo stop being proud of his current strength since it was not much compared to the other people in the Secret Facility.

In the Main Office of the Secret Facility, This Office was the most important room of the secret facility. This was the office of the Lady, The Leader, or boss of the secret facility. As the most important room, The Office had luxurious decorations and had an ancient feeling with it. The Silence and the Calmness of the Atmosphere in the Office made it relaxing.

The Lady was currently in her seat. She was currently reading a report on her table. A month has passed since the failed test, The death reports were numerous and this test was known as a failure. But for her, this was a perfect result. The Weak ones were killed and only the strong ones remain. She saw the attitude of each kid, She like all of them, and their desire to live was really seen in their eyes.

The one that kept getting her interest was Leo, The one weird kid that was brave and bold at the same time. She had a feeling that this kid would be very powerful while also this kid was a snake. Someone that hides their inner selves and presents their mask to other people. Leo was a complete silent type of kid, This was what people see on the outside. But on the inside, Something was different. A sociopath who doesn't care about anyone was a good example.

"Let's just see, It is about to begin after all." The Lady muttered while continuing on her current job. Checking each report as a normal civilian in a job, The mana core deep inside people are forced to sleep due to its danger. This also made it harder for the civilians to rebel against the Empire.

Only the Empire had the scriptures about magic. The Civilians had no choice but to enter the military in order to gain the scriptures. If they don't want to enter the military, They would need to go to a hospital for treatment. Without treatment, The possibility of Mana Meltdown is high causing the civilians to die without treatment.

This was what the Lady discovered about the Empire, To be honest. Lady wasn't even a human, She was a hybrid of a dark elf. Her white pale skin was completely different from theirs but her beauty and her seductiveness contain their trait. It was a hidden fact, The only ones that knew it was the Members and her own secretary.

The front door of the office slowly opens, Lady who was doing her own job slowly turns her head towards the front door. There was only one person that would always come through her office, This was her Secretary. Staring at the door, The Lady then saw a brown-haired girl in a suit.

"My Lady." The Secretary bowed towards the Lady, She then heads towards the table and stands in front of the Lady. The Lady stared at the secretary with her purple eyes, The eyes could spread fear but the Secretary was still calm. The Lady then sighed and spoke towards the Secretary.

"what is it?" The Lady wanted to know the reason why her secretary entered her office, It must be very important since the Secretary knew when to not disturb her. The two of them had a staring contest and the Secretary finally spoke. The Secretary's brown eyes stare at the Purple eyes of the lady.

"The Plan is complete, The test will be in motion today." The Secretary said towards the Lady. Their plan took one month to finish but during that time. They already took care of the future problems, They have been experimenting with a lot of things. Some of them are hideous and could be called a monster.

"So the Failed subjects are already in their cages." The Lady said towards the Secretary, The Secretary nodded. The Failed Subjects were horrifying creatures but most of them were weak and were completely nothing to them. They were the perfect enemies for the kids, If the kids cannot even fight them. It would be useless for such kids to live since they cannot even fight the lowest type of monsters.

"I want to ask a question, Who do you think would be the top in the test." The Lady asks while reading the reports in front of her, The Secretary thought about it. The top test subjects of the secret facility, It was a weird name but the secretary guest many people that could be at the top. It was mostly the Best of the Ancient Noble Family that can reach the top. So the most possible one was only two kids.

"With our current research, Only Leo Sinclair and Alex Fallen could reach the top. There are others that could be within the Top 7 but this two are the only one that comes in mind." The Secretary told the Lady what she thought about the top kids. They only had 7 so only 7 kids could take it, The possibility of the two being at the top was high.

The kids that didn't reach the top 7 would be disposed of or would become one of the Failed Subjects. It was the worst fate for the losers but this was how the world works, Especially with the Members. Most of the Members are dyed by Evilness and Immoral parts of the world. The Lady hearing the secretary nodded in agreement and spoke.

"That is right, Leo and Alex are the only ones that could possibly reach the top. Considering their bloodlines which is perfect, That Kid Leo is even a weird kid." The Lady had a smile on her face, She was merciless but that doesn't mean she lost her emotions. It was just that she didn't have use of them so she mostly hid them from the others. Remembering Leo, The Secretary also spoke.

"That Boy Leo kept training himself in the Prison Cell, Running in Circles for hours while doing martial arts training. He didn't even have someone to teach him and just by looking at the footage. His Martial Arts is improving, His strength is also improving but we need the test to observe that."

"Alex is already having a training in her own prison cell, These two kids have calm faces but they are also dangerous for the other remaining kids." The Secretary told the Lady about what she thought about the two kids, The two of the kids were hardworking. The two had already closed off their emotions which is perfect.

"That weird ritual of Leo that managed to spread among the staff." The Lady was stopping herself from chuckling, Most of the people in the Secret Facility were considering giving Leo a psychologist but even the Known Psychologist didn't know what Leo was doing. The Recommended possibility was that Leo was very bored and had nothing to do.

"That weird ritual of his was even thought to be a summoning of a Daemon." Secretary continued the Sentence of the Lady, It was funny for the two of them since the Lady and the Secretary always see the darkness of the world. Something weird and simple could be funny for the two of them.

In the Prison Cell of Leo, The Breezy wind passing through the window and the view of a Green forest. A good scene it was, The blue sky that was completely different from the old world. The Animals passing by, Unlike the monstrous behemoths in the Old World. Even the trees won't eat Leo anymore, Being trap in a room doesn't equal death since the plants or insects are not big enough to eat him.

Leo could be seen doing his last daily task, He was half-naked. He was given clothes by the Secret Facility and was also given more food than before. He knew that the secret facility was looking at him through their monitor but he didn't mind. He could only go out two times and these two times were either having a bath or having a business. The Secret Facility obviously needed their prisoners to be clean.

His sweat could be seen dripping from his muscular body, It was weird for a 15-year-old kid to have such a muscular body. Even his Six-pack abs were slowly forming and were solidifying. His Muscles were ripped and his handsomeness slowly showed itself. Leo's body was slowly maturing and he was slowly becoming a handsome man. Although his cute kid face was still there, He was still maturing.

"I'm finally done." Leo spoke to himself while stopping on his current training. It was finally complete, He then took out his towel and clean his wet body. His cold and serious eyes gaze through the Prison Cell and a notification was finally heard.
